Love these boots! Very sturdy and good support. They are lighter than my sneakers and just as comfortable. I followed the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size larger and they fit perfect with heavy socks. No need to break in. Hiked a couple of hours the first time I wore them and they are so light. Kept feet dry too while walking in water.

As an avid runner and occasional hiker, I have never had a need for hiking boots. I've always made do with duck boots or chacos. (Love my chacos, they cannot be beat. Please try to challenge me on this.) However, with a July trip to Zion national park looming, it sounded like I was going to need some hiking boots. Off to try on boots I went. I am a hard size to find in women's boots so I figured I would be stuck in the mens. So that's what I tried on. Not to trash talk the mens boots selection but they were pretty clunky for my feet. Leaving the outdoor store with no boots, online shopping was my next stop. My best friend and her mom are the diehard hikers in my life so I drifted to where they had found their favorites. Columbia. Why not try and see if they might possibly have a size for me. AND THEY DO! Size 12, not too clunky and VERY comfortable hiking boots. I was very surprised to also find that they are not too hot in texas humidity and heat. Thank you Columbia for having a womens hiking boot for me. I'll have to report back on how they do at Zion. :) happy outdoorsing!

Went on a limb, or rather, some of the other reviews and ordered a whole size up since my original size was not available- fit great! (I do have wider feet than most however, I do not buy wide width shoes). Roomy enough for thick, hiking socks. Great traction and ankle support. Felt stable and secure throughout my 2.3 mi hike.

Super confortable ! I went walking for over an hour the first time I wore the shoes . It doesn't need to break or anything . It's very light and comfortable . Love the color and look of it as well .

These boots are comfortable and cute but run really small, even compared to other Columbia boots (like the Newton Ridge Plus). I usually buy Columbia boots a half size larger than my regular size. For these, I listened to other reviewers and went a full size up. And I'm glad that I did! They fit perfectly. I wish the sizing was consistent, though.

After having bought a size 10 in the low cut hiking shoes, I ordered a size 10 in these. I should have listened to other reviewers! I am lucky they were out of size 10.5 or I probably would have replaced the size 10's with 10.5. Instead I tried a size 11, and it fit perfectly! I have waded through our creek and they have been waterproof so far.

I usually wear a 9/9.5, I ordered theses in a size 10 and they fit perfectly. I haven't done anything other than that but so far I'm happy.

I bought these for myself because the price was right and I have always considered Columbia a trustworthy, classy brand. I wanted the high quality I have gotten in the past for Merrill's shoes.

These boots are made for walking! I did not even have to break them in. The size I ordered fit perfectly. I would recommend these boots to others!

they are light and so comfortable, when i try it on i actually didn't want to take them off .... that's how comfortable it is.

Super, super comfy! Definitely need to size up. I usually wear an 8, but even an 8.5 was too small. 9 fit just perfect.

These light hiking boots are what I was looking for when my beloved Saucony boots wear out. They weight little so will be just right to pack for a Southwest hiking trip. I won't even have to wear them on the plane. I read the reviews and bought 1/2 size up. The toes are a little narrower than the boots I've been wearing, so the extra length means they are comfortable. I usually wear 9 1/2 but got 10s.

Comfortable boot from the start. No break in time. The boot seems well built but only time will tell how long they last. I normally wear a size 8 with socks but after reading other reviews I went up a half size to 8.5 and they are a perfect fit. I still have room to wear thicker socks if needed.

When I first got these boots they felt "tight" but after one day of usage they felt more comfortable. They still feel like "hugging my feet". Need to use think socks though. Got them for hiking and they feel great, very good grip.

Terrific hiking footwear ! Hiked two mountains and two flat trails in them so far. Excellent traction. Very comfortable but of course I bought a size up to accommodate the socks I like best.

I bought true to my size and they fit perfectly. They are a bit snug on the sides but I want hiking boots to be secured to my feet so it works out. They provide good support and they are wicked cute!
