This is not a brown shoe with dark brown trim, but rather a greenish taupe with avocado skin green trim. Nowhere close to the brown color in web photo. If you like the swamp muck green color, then this shoe would be perfect for you as it is very comfortable on the feet.

Comfortable, but effectively worn out after only 15 months with fabric inners worn through and soles flat or worn down to minimal tread. Benefitted from having heel inserts. Disappointed in short life-span for an "every-day" around town shoe.

Great Shoe

My son loves this hiking shoes. They are very comfortable and stable while walking on very rigid terrain. And they look stylish on my son too. The color is nice too!

I have this model in a full hiking boot that I use overseas in the mountains. So I decided to get the hiking shoe for everyday use and they are terrific. I do wish Columbia would put more thought into the insole (wafer thin) but I have always changed them out for a thinker insole. I wear a 13 wide and few shoes come with such a good design, comfort in the toe box, and quality of material. The sizing was true to the standard sizing measurements (if you need a ½ size I'd recommend going up to the next full size. The tread is a very good design to help prevent slips and it grips well. The colors are good and material is solid. I like have the rock abrasion rubber in the front of the toe. It helps! I would buy it again.

For me these fit true to the expected size. They are comfortable and look good.

For some reasons, they changed sizes grid, now it is too narrow. But in past it was fine. I should take wide.

unfortunbately columbia changed width, now it is very narrow. I always purchased normal, but this time, I can not wear it, very tight!

Great trail shoes, they last a long time, at least until the puppy got ahold of one. Well worth the cost for how durable they are, and they fit my normal width feet really well. The toe box is roomy, which is nice as the time, but especially when wearing thick wool socks on the trail.

Immediate break-in! Very comfortable: Lived in my first pair for 10 days traveling through Ireland and Iceland and they were perfect walking the streets and traversing rough trails. These are my second pair so I can be sure I’ll have them if they are discontinued.

Light weight but sturdy and comfortable.

fits great! very solid sole, feels great on my feet.

I liked the shoe, but the uppers were made of iron and the laces and soles made of cotton candy. VERY uneven wear.
