I bought these for my husband for working outside mowing the lawn, landscaping work etc. He wanted a 9.5 Wide which is his usual size and they fit great. He has been wearing them daily for two weeks and has no complaints They support his feet well.

I got these boots as a gift when I started getting into hiking and backpacking as a "starter" boot and came to absolutely love them. Over the past 2 years I think I've pushed them well past their average lifespan but they're still kicking. Even after a full week of walking through creeks and being wet, they were ready to go after being dried. Speaking of being wet, the waterproofing works; the only complaint is that the water starts to seep in when you step in a puddle that crests on top of the boot, but it gets the job done! I highly recommend these boots for someone looking to get into outdoor activities on a budget.

I started wearing these about a year ago when I turned 70 and needed more ankle support, comfort, lower profile. I know for myself with these Crestwood Mid Waterproof that I need to get one size larger than I wear and a wide width they run narrow for myself. I hike in the Great Smoky Mountains a couple times a year and here at home 3 to 4 miles just about every day on a kind of rocky and up and down trail, no flat trail for me ha ha. These are not a backpacking hiker or it is not going to last you for 3 or 4 years like a KEEN Men's Targhee II or Men's Moab 3 Prime but they are but for what I do they are comfortable and supportive. I have the Cordovan/Squash and just bought these Black/Charcoal ones to to have a different color. Remember if your new and just stating out as you hike your feet will swell a little.

I have been wearing Columbia Hiking Boots for over twenty years. As a teacher I am on my feet for six hours a day. These great Columbia Hiking Boots are a great comforts to me. Over the years I have broken and sprained my ankles so much that, for all intents and purpose, my ankle tendons and ligaments are shot. It's the upper parts of the Columbia Hiking Boots that allow me to still be very mobile and pain free.

This shoe looks great, fits great and is very light and comfortable. The price is right, and most important to me, Columbia offers wide sizes. They really are tough too. This is the fourth pair of Columbia hiking boots that I have owned, and it will not be the last.

Because the first pair was so good!
My dog and I walk ~10m/day and the first pair of these boots has lasted me almost a year (which is good going).
Comfortable and waterproof.

I bought these because I work in a job that requires them and I always get them from Columbia, they're great and long lasting. Usually they last a few months but these last up to more than a year. Definitely recommend!

I bought these as a gift for my husband who has Fred Flintstone wide feet. I ordered a half size larger and wide width for this reason. He says that these are very comfortable and roomy, not too tight. He's happy and so am I!

In the past I owned hiking boots make by a different company that begins with "M". I was happy with the first pair I recieved but they changed some things with the second pair I bought, specifically the outer sole. They went from a rubber outer sole to a Vibram sole. Vibram is meant to last longer but the bad thing is it tends to be real slick on wet pavement or rocks, which is not good for hiking. I recieved my Columbia hiking boots, which have rubber soles, last weekend and took them with me on an extensive hike this past weekend. We hiked in 10" of snow as well as dry pavement. The waterproof held up extremely well, keeping my feet dry. I feel very safe and secure with the rubber soles and had no slipping issues at all.

I am very pleased with the boots. Based on other reviews that the boots ran small; I ordered a 1/2 size larger and wide. I glad I did, because if not, the boots would have been too small and tight. I strongly recommend ordering a 1/2 or full size larger.
