I have been wanting this bag for quite awhile and am so glad I finally have it. It is perfect!

I purchased the beige color, it's absolutely beautiful. The leather is so soft and rich looking. I do wish it was a couple of inches smaller though so I could justify carrying every day. If you need a bag like this for work, it would probably be just perfect. I just don't have a need to carry this type of bag everyday. I wavered about whether or not to keep the bag because of the size, but did decide to keep it and will use it every chance I get.

This bag is fantastic to take as a carry on for flying. As others stated, it hold laptops, ipads, water bottles, makeup bags, and has easy access slots for a passport, mobile phones, and a holder for keys. This bag has good solid leather that doesn't feel like the straps will tear off with how heavy it was packed. One thing to note is the leather does scratch easily. The strap drop is wonderful, but it hangs right at the length where if you had a zipper pocket, it will scratch the leather. I am not looking at buying leather cream to try and hide some of the scratches. Overall, I would buy it again if needed to. I can live with some wear if the cream does it's job.

Wow! This bag went beyond my expectations. It's not listed in the description, but it does have interior cell phone and key pockets on one side, plus one zipped pocket and another slip-in pocket on the other side. It was perfect for a recent work trip for holding all my usual purse items, plus laptop, laptop cord, iPad, a water bottle, and snacks (granted, it weighed about a zillion pounds, but it held everything like a champ). I got the tan, and it looks like a million bucks. I LOVE THIS BAG.

This bag looks sleek whether I load it up with student papers and go correct in a coffee shop or throw all my "weekend" stuff in it for a short trip. The tan color makes every outfit look polished.

I bought this a few weeks ago and love it! It has a lot of interior room and the look is so professional that I use it for work every day!

I bought this bag and loved it but the handles are coming apart and threads are shredding. You really need to address this issue.

I love the bag, the color and even the smell of the leather is high quality. FRYE is hands down one of the best when it comes to leather and craftsmanship.

Frye must outsource their customer service outside the US, hope you dont have a problem with your order like I did because you will not get any replies and if you do they do not understand your problem due to the language gap.

My Melissa handbag in green came as a gift and one side appears to have scratches. The leather is smooth so it seams like the coloring is not right. Disappointing. Unsure if I can treat or it needs to be returned.

The Frye quality shows up in this purse. The color is fantastic! So happy my wife is happy!

This is a beautiful and sturdy bag. I have been using it for months. It is comfortable to carry or slung on my shoulder. The leather gets better with age. It can hold all of my items, including my iPad, planner, water bottle, scarf, or a sweater. Great for work, travel and running errands!

I love the green color. It is more beautiful in person than online. The purse is larger than I expected, but I still likeit.

Fits everything for work and has small compartments for keys, pens and other items that would otherwise fall to the bottom of the bag. Love it!!

I absolutely love mine and was finally glad to get a red one but it has like a white waxy film on it that rubs off on everything and I cant get it off

My wife needed a new, sturdier bag for work travel. She loves this one. Her previous bags have been fabric and thus flimsy, with sides collapsing so you can't see what is in them. This sturdy leather bag does not do that. It sits on the floor with lots of stuff, stays tidy, and you can see what is in it and where. Great upgrade. Highly recommend.

I love this person and can carry several things. The complaints I have are, it needs wider straps for being a larger purse, and the stitching started to come out on one of my straps after owning only a little over a year. The straps are not comfortable on your shoulder if you have anything causing your purse to be a little heavier. I noticed the stitching coming out of my strap when the plastic inside scratched me because it is broken and sticking out where the stitching has come out. I love Frye products and also own the Melissa tote, which I purchased at the same time as the Melissa shopper. I hope the totes straps holds up better than the shopper.

I purchased this purse at a retail store and after about one year the stitching began to break and shred on the handles.

I love all of your purses and was glad to see you were offering them again. I love the red color - the bag is probably larger than I need, but I am sure it will serve my purposes.

I've been waiting a very long time for the Melissa Shopper (and other purses) to come back in stock. It was worth the wait. I know have my perfect Melissa Shopper and can't wait to pack it for my next trip home to South Africa
