I just got these today and WOW! Beautiful boots, impeccable craftsmanship, and perfect fit. I'm a size 8 1/2-9 and the size 9 fits great even with a pair of thick socks. The bottom is slick initially but after one night of wear they were broken in. The fit is beyond comfortable too! I am extremely picky about boots, a good style and comfortable fit are hard so to come across a boot I can't wait to wear again and again is a rare delight. They can be dressed up or down and I can tell will get even better with wear. I highly recommend these boots, absolutely worth the price!

I love these boots. I bought them as my kick around shoes and they're perfect for just that. They go with all my outfits so effortlessly. The slate color is great too- kind of an in between black/dark brown so it goes with everything. As someone previously mentioned, the bottoms are slick to begin with since they are leather soles, but they scratch up naturally when you wear them outside. *i did go down a half size, it took about a week of breaking in and now they fit like a glove.

It's a scary thing to go from walking around on your carpeted bedroom floor while you test out new shoes, to venturing out into the real world and the point of no return. Literally. In this case, I'm happy to report no regrets. There was no break in period for me. Body heat relaxed the soft leather and molded the shoe to my feet within a few seconds of wear. I wore them to work for three straight days; with slacks, a pencil skirt, and leggings. I would wear them everyday, except I don't want to wear them out too quickly and need to let them rest and dry out every few days. I found these to be true to my normal 8.5 in Frye boots and the width is comfortable, even with my favorite non-cushioned merino wool socks.

Based on the reviews which say this style runs true to size, I ordered these in my usual size 9. They are GIGANTIC like, I think I need to reorder in a 7.5! THey are gorgeous, though. I'm anxious to start wearing them! ;)

Beautiful, well-made shoes. These will last for years and match with everything. My only complaint is that I wish they came in size 10.5. I bought a size 10 and had to wear them in with thick socks on to make them roomier, but they're still a bit too small.

I bought these a few weeks ago and have worn them most days since I got themthey're versatile enough to work with yoga pants, jeans, and suits, so they're pretty much the perfect closet staple. I've gotten a number of compliments and love how soft the leather is. I expected a breaking in period but had none. Worth the semi-splurge and treating yourself!

Very happy with the quality as usual. Boots and shoes from Frye are made well and comfortable.

A little snug to get them on my feet but once they're on they fit perfectly and extremely comfortable.

Truly satisfied. The leather is soft, toe box wide. I have worn them several times since buying them 3 weeks ago.

I recently purchased these boots and have fallen in love! The quality and design of the boot is unmatched. I do have to say I was looking forward to buying the boot in the Wine color, which was no longer available so I settled for the redwood and I'm pleasantly surprised with how's much I like the color. Saving up to get a pair in black! Frye - don't ever stop making this style!
