Worth the price. You get what you pay for. I work in the oilfield in all types of weather climates, mud, oil, contaminated water etc and they are still in great shape. The zipper on the side comes in handy. Love them. Thanks Ariat
Waiting for the next catalyst boot to come out so i can have as a back up.

This boot is the best work boot I've owned. Walking 25,000 plus steps a day rain, sleet, or snow. Jump and climbing on and off machines and trucks all day for 14months. Doing the same job for the past 7 years ive never had a pair of boots last 10 months i tried them all Red wings, Carolina, Cat, Dr. Martin, Justin boots etc... until i bought these boots. Paint thinning eat through most boots with in 6 months but not these. I will be purchasing another pair real soon

Over a year of hard use in an auto shop environment with ATF, gasoline, and oils. The only thing I don't like is they get slick when it's snowing and you walk on epoxy-coated shop floors. Then rubber toe hasn't worn out in over a year of racking a vehicle, plus kicking the rack out. They keep the water out and they keep the drill bit shavings out. A big deal if you have ever gotten a metal sliver in your foot. Im on my second pair and waiting for them to come back in stock to buy a third.

They may seem a little bulky but they aren't. They are very comfortable with excellent support. They may be a tad on the heavy side but not enough to tell a difference. This is my 3rd pair. Not because of poor quality but because my work place buys us a pair every year. This is my 3rd pair out of 4 years. The only reason I didn't get them all 4 years is the safety shoe vendor didn't have my size last year (COVID 19) I'll admit I probably wouldn't buy 3 pairs in 4 years if I had to pay for them, but I'd definitely get a new pair every other year. I gave my old pair to my nephew they were still in great shape. It takes a couple of weeks to break them in but it's not painful at all they are adjustable with the velcro. I never had a pair of Ariat until I guess 3 or 4 years ago. We had a bunch of new hires come in to the plant with them. I laughed at them and asked them if they were storm troopers or motocross riders. I told them to go get some Hytest slip ons. That's my other pair and they are comfortable and lighter but the Ariat boots are just as comfortable and they are more rugged. I'll be honest Hytest we're my boot of choice until all the new guys told me to try this boot. I couldn't believe it and I admitted to those guys they were right. So now I have my Hytest as my back up boot. It's good to rotate if u can. These are the best boots I've ever worn. I'm 49 and I've been in a heavy industrial work environment for 30 years and these are bu far MY FAVORITE METATARSAL boot. My all time favorite was the old Justin wellington but no one let's their employees wear just steel toes. I use to hate METATARSAL boots until I found these

I first bought these in Nevada, on a vacation, mind you.
I am a ready mix driver, I am in acid, mud, water, uneven ground. These are the best things since peanut butter. My feet stay dry, warm, and breathe in the summer, I work anywhere from 6-16 hous a day, comfortable all day. I just bought my second pair and am waiting for them to come in. 2+ yrs. Best money ever spent. Thank you ARIAT.

My pair just arrived. I usually get Matterhorn miner boots( the tiger toe outlasts the boot) but last pair I got really bothered my right foot after the steel toe shifted. No matter what boot I've tried my right foot hurts. Put these on today and after a couple hours no pain in the right foot. They look cool too and easy off and on for climbing in and out of my sleeper in truck.

I bought these boots 4 months ago and they are superior to other boots. I work in stone machining, which means these boots are put to the test. Other waterproof boots fail after 2 months in constantly we t conditions. These boots are still holding up great and i work 60- 100+ hrs a week. Do yourself a favor and by a pair.

The only issue I have is i wish the top velcro tab was longer. Otherwise comfortable boot. I do consulting in various industries & this boot is easy to slip on/off in the parking lot.

These boots look kind of cumbersome but they are actually very comfortable. They provide plenty of support from the rubber sole. It is firm and helps your feet not feel so fatigued after a long day. The zipper and straps provide a level of adjustable support for your ankles and lower leg. The rubber sole is actually very slip resistant. They might allow you to slip if you step in oil especially if the oil is on a slick finished concrete floor or on some metal decking floor plates, but they are alot better than most others I've tried. My only complaint is they are a little on the heavy side, but they are as comfortable as a pair of other work shoes I have that are basically high top sneakers. I get s new pair of boots every yr and I currently have e a pair of these Ariat and a pair of Keen hit options sneaker type. I rotate wearing them. Even though they are big and bulky I can compare to the Keen sneaker safety shoes. First of all the Ariat last alot longer you can get 2 to 3 years of use out of them easily. They are very durable if I'm doing work on my machine and I'm dealing with alot of aluminum scrap I don't have to worry about the metal cutting my boots. The metgaurd is built in but very comfortable. It provides protection and doesn't hurt my foot. The tread on the sole lasted a long time. They main reason I rotate and I bought a pair of the Keen sneakers style is 1My employer buys them for us 1 time and yr. So I have gotten Ariat beginning in 2018 I think and I
have gotten 3 pair since because after only 1 yr they are still in really good shape and they didn't have enough any other boots that I liked so i went with the sneaker style and mainly I use them in the summer because they are alot lighter and let your feet breathe. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they are a little heavy. I really like the straps they allow me to adjust so they don't slip on the heel. I with the straps being used you can choose to not zip up the zipper on the side or just zip it half way of you are an operator and basically sit in a cab on a crane or other heavy equipment. I run a crane and fork truck on occasion. I have to unload cold mill work rolls to a mobile equipment wagon the rolls are covered in rolling oil and additive which will make you break out bad if you get it on you. So I always wear the Ariat boots on those days and I zip them up..I have to climb on the wagon and it's very slick especially with the sneaker style Keens. But the Ariat boots don't slip and you can literally pour rolling oil on them and not worry about the oil soaking through and making your feet or ankles break out. The oil just kind of beeds off. Some will soak in but not much. Like I said I got my 1st pair in 2018 I ended up giving them to my nephew in 2020 when I got a new pair then I actually wore the 2020 pair until 2022 when I got another pair. I should of got another pair last month but I didn't because I had to replace my Keen pair the sole was wore out and my Ariats were still in really good shape. So if I had to buy them out of my pocket I would probably buy them every 4 yrs just because they hold up that long but when they are free i just get them every other yr. I think i tried some other pairs when I didn't get the keens and I was disappointed. 2 pair of Justin and they were pretty good bit not as good as the Ariat. I've been working there 28 yrs and these are 1 as far as comfort and quality i have ever had once we were required to wear METGAURD boots. If you are an machinery operator these boots will last you 5 yrs easily. If you are a rigger or iron worker they are good because the don't have laces and the zipper and buckles alow you to adjust them so they don't slip on your heel and allows you to walk on steel or any where else you need to be extra sure footed. All my other slip ons without a zipper or buckle with slip over time. To me the other Ariat square toes are very similar to the Justin square toe. but these are at the top of the line. They remind me of MOTOCROSS boots. These are a game changer. I admit when I saw new guys who just hired in had them on i laughed at them. I said those look like cast house boots (remind me of the timberland smelter boots) I said why on earth did you get them i ber your feet hurt after half the shift. They said no they feel like tennis shoes. So I tried them shortly after and I was shocked. The sole is kinda hard but the insole is comfortable and if you get a shoe with a sole thsg is too soft it's comfortable for about half the shift but then you notice your feet don't hurt but the are TIRED or fatigued because of. Lack of support. I've never had that at all. I've never got fatigued feet from these. Only thing I can say is something I don't like is they sometimes are hot in the summer and they are on the heavy side, but if they feel a little heavy i just tighten the buckles and zip up the zipper all the way that prevents any sloppy or loose feelings and they are snug but not tight. OH one more thing definitely try on. My 3 pairs have been 11D. 11 EE, 11D.. The size are about the same. I've had 11 wides on other brands before and 11.5 D other brands I never had 11.5 EE before I only took different sizes because they actually didn't feel any different than the other ones Maybe it's because of the buckles. I guess my go to size is 11D or 11EE I think the only reason I got the 11.5 EE was because of the shoe company actually comes to my work site with them on a truck and I didn't want to wait on a different size after I tried them on. These are the only boots s I've ever had that I could wear that were a half size bigger and a double wide. Normally if I got a pair of wides I would go a half size smaller if anything. Just warning the sizes don't change much.

Really like the boot. The sizing quiz was not very accurate and told me to order wide instead of medium. I am pretty sure I could have done ok with the wide. Have had to switch to thicker socks. I thought they fit ok at home.and then wore them to work so the. I couldn't send back to change size.

I bought a 10EE, still fits tight. Maybe my feet swelled up after I ordered them. My previous Ariat pull on work boot was 10D. I cant tighten the upper straps either.

This boot held up great to rough work conditions and kept me comfortable all day. Break in period was minimal and superior traction in slippery conditions. I would absolutely buy another pair and recommend them to anyone who wants metguard protection in an adjustable slip on.

The only issue I have experienced for the last 3 years I have owned them is the Velcro straps and the inside, back of the boot. The inside heel area had gotten torn up and had to have a new one installed. The Velcro straps do not last, after awhile they don't function and is now causing defects which in return are now causing very sore feet! Being a diabetic, this is a huge concern.

First day wearing these boots and they are comfortable, I'm a forklift mechanic who also runs the shop, so I'm constantly on my feet and constantly moving on concrete. I expected to be more sore for the 1st few wears and honestly my feet are feeling pretty good! I usually wear protective sneakers, so the snug tops of these boots are the thing that's taking the most time to get use too but they aren't painfully snug. I like that they are adjustable, but not lace up. I have thick calves and some boots are just to tight, these are not! Not offered in woman's sizes (ariat DO BETTER, women need extreme protection for our feet too!) sooo ordered 1.5 sizes down in men's sizes and it's a good fit in length (I'm an 8.5 in women's and ordered a 7 in men's) a little wide across the ball/toe area but not unbearable. Also a little snug in the heal/ankle area, but their men's boots, so this is typical for me when i buy men's boots. I'd like to give 5 stars but the fact that these extra protective styles aren't offered in woman's sizes really bothers me, so 4 stars, as men's boots they are good, if actually designed for a woman's foot I'm sure they'd be better (for me and other women)

I have had these for a couple weeks now. Like all my other Ariat boots they fit almost perfect. They really didn't need broke in. The only gripes I have are that they need a better cushion in the sole, especially if on concrete all day. They're also pretty hot in warm weather, my feet sweat quite a bit in these.

(boots are much darker) They lasted me almost 2 years from welding, concrete, and carpentry work i work in the bridge construction the first thing for me to wear out was the stitching on the rubber toes from welding then the straps starting tearing off and then lastly the heels

Not a bad boot so far. Works well for welding and torching. Water proof is only good to the middle strap. I thought is was all the way up like my old boots but it's not. All in all I would order again. I hope maybe in the future they make them water proof all the way up the boot for the money you spend.
