I am soo glad I read reviews on this shoe. Doing so prepared me for the width. If you need a wide fit, this shoe won't work for you. It's definitely NOT a wide shoe even though it says it is. I'm a girl needing an outdoor work shoe and it's perfect with thick work socks.

It is difficult to buy dark colored shoes that have style. I work in an office but I frequently visit our shop which is very dirty. I changed from black shoes to these and it has worked out so far.

Best sneakers I've bought in a long time. Lightweight yet solid construction. Ordering a second pair.

Seems to fit good, light weight. Today is the first day of wearing them. Have broken foot several times, hard to find true to size width, this is actually true wide width. Nice color scheme can wear to work.

Fitment is great and don’t feel tired after being on my feet all day. I work in the automotive field and these shoes don’t slip when walking in the shop floor, even when the floor is wet. Would recommend these to anymore who needs a good all purpose shoe.

my husband wears these whenever he goes out and needs something a little dressier than sneakers or sandals. he has a really hard time finding comfortable shoes due to a badly swollen toe joint (has had it for years) so he buys wide or x-wide shoes to give him more space for the toe. these shoes are comfortable for him - yay!

Bought these for my husband who has a very wide foot. They are very comfortable. If you are looking for a shoe like a tennis shoe, these are NOT the shoes for you. These are more like hiking type shoes. They are light weight. For the price, this was an excellent buy.

This was my first Zappo's purchase, as I was always wary of ordering a shoe online. I've found that with New Balance the size you try is sometimes not the size you get. This was not the case here. I have a big foot, and a wide one at that, and normally have trouble locating a decent pair of shoes to wear. I've had to suffer the past 2 years because my old shoe was only a Double E, not a triple E, that I ordered from Cabella's, also a New Balance. I love this shoe. I really do. Its wide comfort, my toe is not scraping on the front, I have zero pain, and my feet feel fine after a day inside this shoe. My old shoe, which I had to wear today because of the mess I was working in, ache so bad after 6 hours of use. Not so with this pair. I may actually grab another pair to keep a spare or even two, because good shoes in my size are hard to come by.

It fits my wide feet,4e.I bought three kept two that fit best.I work in them all the time. I beat them up,they have held up.Wish they were water proof.

Size runs small

Used the NB shoe I had on to order by size. Was one size too small. Major problem with first pair. 2 Metal lace guides had come apart while getting the shoe ready to try on, cutting into the lace. Called, explained the issues and Zappos immediately sent me the shoes in one size larger. Perfect fit!! Great fit, pretty good support. GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!! Thanks!!

Narrow toe box, not a true extra wide (4E) IMO. The materials and quality seemed good.

Fits OK. not much support but rubber like soles grip and resist water.

I like the shoe overall but I prefer a wider toe box. After using them on concrete for an 8 hour shift, I was uncomfortable. I think they are better suited for the trail.

I really like the styling and quality structure of this New Balance shoe. I wear a size13 4E and the width was comortable, but I believe the size 13 is more a 12.5. I am using shoes strertchers to add a more length. I would buy this shoe again, but would get at least a half size larger.

For years, New Balance was my go to shoe. For the past few years, their 4E widths have shrunk some and now my foot does not have room to move in the toe box. I keep trying different ones they offer, but so far have not found one wide enough. I have gone to Skechers, but don't care for their styling quite as well in the 4E widths they offer. They also now glue in their insoles and that makes it impossible to insert my orthotics. I have tried several other "touted" brands but none offer near wide enough toe boxes in their extra wide offerings.

Happy with the sizing. Is more comfortable width than other shoes that I've had at that width.
