First off this shoe would be perfect if they would just ditch the exterior rubber around the toe. I own many pair of Merrell. This model with the rubber toe I will not purchase again unless they ditch the rubber and do leather to the sole. The rubber on my pair fell apart rather quickly. Then as I did a shoe repair I learned the leather under the rubber did not go all the way to the sole. Leather attached to the rubber then the rubber attaches to the sole. Everything else about the shoe was great. I would buy 2 pairs right now if they ditched the rubber and made the shoe all leather upper to the sole even around the toe.

The right shoe was defective. Cannot wear them. I asked Merrell customer service to send me a new right shoe. They asked for photos of the shoe. I sent them. They sent me a refund. I never got a proper pair of shoes.

I am blown away that Merrell would make the choice to sew the leather upper to a thin piece of rubber thinner than a bicycle tire to hold these together. Great show otherwise, but not durable at all and they begin falling apart all at once. Merrell can do better than this I think.

Worn daily on a horse farm for typical chores. I have purchased several pairs over the years, but am now giving up on these mocs since the stitching falls apart, the leather and rubber separate, and the shoes leak.... within just a few months of purchase.

She was falling apart and splitting at the seams after only using them as a work shoe in a retail setting. I have other merrrlls and they have all been great. It's just the cold pack ice+ moc that has not held up

Tried to replace an old pair, same size, but the new one is too tight across the top. Unwearable. Returning.

Do not buy these shoes if you have hardwood floors! Evidently there is a very small tag that says something like DO NOT WEAR THESE SHOES INSIDE. Whaaaaat? My husband did not see that small tag (which others have also complained about, here and on Zappos), and OUR FLOORS ARE RUINED! These shoes have PLEXIGLASS IN THE SOLES. Our floors are covered with hundreds of "v" shaped marks from wherever he walked. Our house is 97 years old, and not once in 97 years has this happened. TERRIBLE!!!! I have spent 3 days trying to get these marks out and will likely have to have my floors refinished at great cost and bother. This is NOT mentioned in the product description on the site! MERRELL MARKETINGYOU NEED TO ADD A LARGE BAND AROUND THESE SHOES THAT MUST BE BROKEN TO WEAR THAT SAYS IN LARGE LETTERSDO NOT WEAR INDOORS!. My husband and I have worn Merrell shoes for years, but now...and Merrell takes not responsibility I was told me to write a reveiw and MARKETING would read and respond. BEWARE! SAVE YOUR FLOORS! Why make shoes that you can never wear into a house. Terrible! I hope to hear from Customer Service or Marketing.

I always order a size 8 medium women's Merrill shoe or boot. When I tried them on they were very tight even without having a winter sock on. Unfortunately I had to return them. Since they don't offer this shoe in a wide I will have to do with out. It's very disappointing since my husband was able to get them in a men's wide. I was very interested in this shoe because of the special tread that helps keep you upright on ice.

The size was too narrow to my past experience with Merrell. Unfortunately, I thought they would stretch, but they didn't, and now I can't return. I needed a 3-4 W, and the 2-W was not a good fit.

I've been buying Mocs for easily 10 years. Their out of the box comfort is no more.

I bought these shoes for me and my husband for Christmas. he was just trying his on and walking around on our wooden floors and have either taken the finish off the floor or made marks that I cannot get off. It doesn't mention this on the description but they do have a tag on the shoe and in small print mentions it can damage floors! Not sure why you would make a shoe that would ruin anyone's floors without mentioning it in the description. So I cannot say how the shoe is for outdoor weather as we are just getting our 1st snow today. I would not have made the purchase if I knew they were going to have this effect on our floors.

These might be some of the worst shoes for walking on ice I have ever owned. They are almost like walking with leather soles. I have had two very serious falls with them to the point I no longer use them when it gets icy. Very disappointing considering that was the reason I purchased them. For me your arctic grip is a complete fail. To bad because the shoe is very comfortable and well made. I just can't use them for the purpose I bought them for.

Bought thiese very expensive shoes a year ago. the seams have already split. they have lost their waterproof capability and I wish I had not spent so much money on a disposable shoe

Nice looking shoes. I only wish they were offered in wide.

I had to return this product. It only comes in a medium with, I need a wider fit.

I bought these last year for what I thought was overpriced, but I went for it because of the waterproofing. After a 30 minute walk in light rain, on a sidewalk - feet wet and cold.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review. I will start with saying I wear these shoes daily. I generally wear them from 5am until 5pm. Sometimes longer. I do not wear them outdoors much as I work in a production facility and spend most of my day walking from department to department. (I am a production manager) When I first tried these shoes on I immediately realized they would take time to break in as they were rather narrow. Perhaps my feet are wider than I thought? After about 2 weeks they became much more comfortable. They are fairly warm and definitely waterproof. After owning them for a little less than a month I decided to take a little time to clean them as I am a huge proponent of CLEAN shoes rather than salt stained/abused shoes. During my initial brushing I saw a number of tears and rips. I was extremely disappointed and honestly surprised these have began to break down so quickly. I would use caution if you're thinking about buying these shoes. I love the Merrell brand, however this is not what you'd expect when purchasing this type of shoe. I am only able to upload 1 picture. Both shoes have tears like these along with others.

I've been fooled by this many times by Merrell. They say waterproof but yet rain and snow come and again the tips of my toes are freezing because that is the exact spot where the water comes in. I'm absolutely furious. I don't know what most of you do for a living but I'm a dog walker, my funds are limited and I like to invest in products. I've been a merrell fan for years...but I've had enough of this "waterproof" BS. Their winter Mocs leak at the same spot. Right where everyone else says the rubber is crumbling. I'm outside for hours in all kinds of weather so I'm not asking for much...just keep my feet warm and dry while I'm out walking dogs. It's miserable to come home to freezing feet and wet wool socks. Merrell used to stand for something...it used to stand for quality...now it looks like they turned it to the commercial jokes of North Face, Nike & Under Armour. Now they make products without integrity. I love these shoes, they are comfortable and my feet don't hurt after I'm done a very long day...but I've purchased you to do one thing and that's be WATERPROOF.

I purchased these shoes recently. I wore them 5-6 Times. Today, I wore them again for our first snowfall and noticed the stitching just above the toes on the right shoe was broken and coming apart. Not amused with the durability for the price.
