Love this mat!

Its the perfect mat. Im tall and would always come off of my mats, not this one! The padding is perfect for hard flooring and Im pleased with the manufacturing and quality of this mat. I wasnt thrilled that I have to break it in to slide all over the place. The salt is very messy and the the manufactures should figure out how to make it ready to use immediately. Other then that, Im thrilled with it!

Unusable with how slippery it is. So frustrating I cant believe they would make a yoga mat like this. After purchasing I read other reviews saying it wasnt designed for grip but I took their quiz and I answered that grip was my #1. Very disappointed.

Super cushioning, non slip and so beautiful!

The color is great. This one is a little slick compared to previous mats. I did the sea salt break in. Otherwise it is great. So good things come with patience and practice.

I already love it - I cannot think of a single thing about this mat that I don't like. I was a bit afraid that the breaking in process would have been frustrating or that it would have been initially too slippery to practice on, but nothing like that! I gave it a 24h salt treatment, but it was still a bit slippery (nothing too major or distracting, but I could hardly hold a downdog without a towel). I gave it another 12h salt treatment, and after two days of practice the grip was already perfect. I've had it for a week and I can already practice without worrying about slipping. Long story short: there was no reason to be intimidated by the breaking-in process!

I love my new pro series mat. Im still in the break in period so its still slightly slippery but nothing horrible. Im still on the fence if I should do the salt treatment to break it in lol. Im afraid itll be too hard to wipe clean. Things I love about this mat are the thickness, and the length. I also love the color I got which is black magic purple. Its such a rich shade of purple. I highly recommend it. I also bought the mat cleaner in lavender. The smell is very subtle and keeps my mat nice and fresh.

Doesnt grip as well as I was expecting.

Being a taller man it's hard to find a yoga mat big enough to do some stretches, so nice big mat is nice. Still need to "break" it in, but it's a nice mat.

Ive had this mat for 7 years. The best way to describe it is ole reliable. Is it the thickest, most comfy mat? No. Is it the stickiest mat? No. Do you have to use a towel for hot yoga? Yes. It doesnt have any bells and whistles but thats what makes its a great mat. Its lightweight, easy to take to class, works for any space, and will literally last forever. I think every yogi should have one of these.

This is a fabulous yoga mat Perfect size and thickness Great colors to choose from My third one I have purchased One for my 67 son (got the larger one for him) One for my daughter and finally one for me Love them!

just what i need.

I have been practicing yoga for 7 years. I was in need of a mat and turned to my trusted yoga teacher to get her advice. She told me about her Manduka Pro Mat she has had for over 20 years. I started 2023 with my Pro Mat. I took my time to submit this review because I wanted to write from a place of experience. I have practiced on this mat, three times a week for more than a month now. I feel held and supported by this mat. It is strong, it gives me confidence to come to the mat with a curious student's heart. I know if I fall, it will catch me. I am also a long distance runner. This mat is so, so kind to my knees. I no longer have to put a blanket under my knees when I practice certain poses. I know I met my lifetime mat. And just like yoga, this mat will be a part of me and my life until the day I die. Thank you for making mats designed for yogis who not only love yoga, but has made it a daily, lifetime practice.

Has no grip, smells and it's extremely heavy. Will be returning. So far the only amazing thing about this company is their customer service support team.
