I use this mat daily. I like the grip and the fact it is still very portable. It has just the right amount of cushion, not too much but enough to soften the impact on the elbows and knees during the more advanced poses.

I LOVE THIS MAT. I first tried the black mat pro at a yoga retreat in Costa Rica, and fell in love immediately. I bought it as soon as I got home, and did not regret my decision. I followed the steps to break it in on the packaging, and think I need to use the salt method one more time because I find I slip a bit in downward dog. I have full faith it will be broken in in no time with no slips. The only downside was shipping to Canada was pricey.

I bought this for myself for an early Christmas gift after talking to my yoga instructor about getting a "real" yoga mat. I have used it both at home and at her studio several times and I love it. It has a great thickness to help especially wrists and knees. I do slip a little every once in a while, BUT I sweat ALOT so this is not the mat's fault!

The last mat you will ever buy. Super stable, Sticky, and not smelly. Awesome!!!

My husband and I both have a pro and they are excellent yoga mats. They break in quickly and have great gripping in both regular and hot yoga classes. I did have to get used to the heavier weight while carrying it back and forth, but to me it's worth it for the thicker mat.

The PRO mat is the best mat I've ever used! Whenever someone asks me what kind of mat to buy, I tell them to take a try on my mat and can't believe how cushioning, long and spacious it is. I recommend the PRO mat all the time to my students and have purchased them for my family as well. Note: it is a bit heavier to carry around than some mats, but once you use it you will never go back.

I was bored from the common mat from the gym, and as I was progressing in my yoga pratise I decided to look for a more professional mat. After read many rewievs, this one was my choice an I can't regret. It has good grip, both to do transitions between asanas and to do more static or inverted postures (it is said that is even better after several uses). I didn't need to do any treatment to improve the grip. In addition, thickness for me is OK. The only thing you have to consider is that is not a mat to carry so often because is heavy.

Fabulous. Sturdy. Sufficient padding for joints. I don't slip or slide.

I chose to get my 2nd Manduka mat because I wanted to keep one in the car for studio visits. The new mat feels just as good as my older Manduka and my knees appreciate the thickness a Manduka offer. Love having the splash of color!

I bought my Manduka black mat pro 2 months ago, and I love it! I was worried about slipping, so I gave a salt scrub, and bought a Manduka equa hold towel. Aside from brushing out a few wrinkles from time to time, the towel stays in place, as do I. Cleaning (takes less than 2 minutes) could not be easier! I unroll the mat on my kitchen floor, mist it with the Manduka all purpose mat wash, wipe it down with a damp cloth, and hang to dry for 5 minutes or so, then roll it up, better than new.

I bought this Mat a month ago and am SO happy I finally did. I've been "testing" out different brands for literally years but have never been 100% satisfied with any other mat until I finally got my Manduka PRO Mat. Size, grip, durability, etc is perfect for my practice and I can tell will hold up perfectly from time I spend on it every day. I'm attached. Thank you!!!

I'm an instructor and have 5 mats that I use for various purposes. This one is hands down the most supportive, non-slip, best overall one i have. I also have the pro lite, but the pro is worth the extra money. A must-have if you practice regularly.

This is my second mat and after a few weeks, I couldn't be happier. I have a bony spine and some issues with my lower back but with Manduka PRO I can roll on my back with comfort and I love the thickness and padding it gives with headstands too. So far the gripping has felt good too, although I haven't experienced practising in a hot climat or very sweaty class yet. It's luxurious but it's heavy too, so my next buy will be a lighter travel mat.

I have been practicing Ashtanga for 15 years. The last 10 years I have been practicing on the travel Pro Lite because the Pro was too heavy for me to carry. I recently bought the Pro and let it sit wrapped up for a week. I was contemplating whether to open or send back. Lets just say, when I finally practiced on my new Pro, I was hooked, immediately! Amazing, I felt grounded, stable, connected and in heaven. Wow, what a difference a mat can make!

I bought the black mat on the recommendation of one of my yoga instructors. It has certainly met my expectations. I love the size and the fact that it always lies flat even after being rolled up. It feels very secure and does not slide on the floor and provides good cushioning.

I purchased the beautiful and vibrant Harbour color. It's more blue than green and I love that. Used it for the first time today after using a cheap mat for about 2 months. Wow the feel is so different! The Pro thickness and density is very nice - more cushion support for my knees yet not squishy and unstable. I feel very rooted to the floor and more confident in my poses especially as a beginner. I am so very happy with my purchase! I did the 24-hour salt prep and my mat felt sufficiently sticky. The only downside is it is a heavy mat but I can live with that.
