I've been using this mat for about a month now and am thoroughly impressed! The larger size is perfect for me (about 6'1") and really allows you to take up space comfortably. It's a dense mat and has some weight to it, which is perfect as a solid foundation for your practice. It's quite grippy by itself, but as Manduka recommends, I'd definitely pair it with a Yogitoes towel for hot yoga or anytime you sweat a lot. This particular color looks amazing too! :)

I got this mat about a year ago and it's still my go to mat. I can use the mat alone or with the equa towel in my hot practice. I tried a mat from a different company last month and immediately went back to the Pro. So comfortable and durable!

Love this mat! Received it as a gift, great cushioning, I am not a huge sweater and do not have any slippage, if I do hot yoga I use my Yogitoes towel with this mat. Love, Love, Love, would recommend it - super durable, leave in my car and no problems with it. Lifetime guarantee was a bonus!

I purchased this yoga mat several months ago after having a rough time with several cheap mats I had purchased from Target. Everyone at my fitness studio was using Manduka and convinced me to give them a go! I am so in love with this product. I use my Manduka mat every single day and I love how it feels so luxurious, stable, doesn't allow me to slip, and is of the best quality! I love it so much I bought another one a few weeks ago when it was on sale!

For the person who is accustomed to nothing but the best, this is your mat!! This mat is durable, holds up for both the yin and power yoga clases. Easy to clean!

I tried a friend's Pro mat and bought one. I love it! But, it is heavy to carry around to all the classes I teach and attend. So, I bought the Pro-lite. I really like the Pro-lite mat, too. It's great for bringing to classes. But, I really love my Pro mat at home! I totally recommend this duo. :)

I love my Manduka Pro mat. Takes a while to break in but that's because of how well it's made. My joints always feel comfortable on this mat!

Love this mat, so thick and well-cushioned, providing great support for me knees. Never slips when I'm doing poses either. Would buy it again and again !

This is my third Manduka pro mat. I bought my first one 15 years ago and it has held up to the test of time. I'm a yoga teacher and I always tell my students Manduka makes the best mats don't buy anything else!

Very happy with the quality of the mat. Unfortunately did not get the colour I ordered but I guess that depends on current stock. Mat is heavy, non-slip and overall looks like it is going to last me forever. I do practice yoga every day and was looking for permanent option when it comes to mats. I went through so many different ones and none of them last. My cats are sharpening their claws on them now

Bought this to replace my first, which I'd had for about 4 years of almost daily practice with basically no evidence of wear and tear. Using the suggested breaking in method -- salt overnight -- this mat, in Odyssey Blue, has broken in very quickly. Glad to be back on my Manduka -- especially love the Pro for the extra width, which is perfect for broad-shouldered yogis.

This is by far my favorite mat. As an instructor, I lead/take well over 10hours a week in classes. Having a great mat that protects my knees is super important. I pair this with a yogitoes towel to ensure no sliding around. Would definitely recommend

This is a very nice mat for daily use. Well made, pretty color. A bit heavy to tote around. I use it for my daily home practice.

I purchased this mat for home use. I have a hardwood floor in my practice space and I got the thick cozy feel that I was hoping from this mat. It is heavy, thick and heavy, but the cushion is perfect. The color is soothing. Add the lifetime warranty and environmental commitment and it makes this mat beautiful in every way.

I am a beginner and bought this after a lot of you tube review videos and I am very happy with my purchase. Its expensive but I decidedto spend the money on my health and well-being and decided to purchase it because manduka backs their pro mats if anything happens to it due to regular wear and tear and proper usage of the mat. I recomend this mat because you won't need to buy another one. Ever again.

The Manduka PROlite yoga mat may weigh a bit more than other mats, but It is nice and grippy no slipping on this mat. lot of cushion.I love my Manduka PROlite. It's just... right.

Bought this mat, it was expensive but expect it to last long time. Is very comfortable.

Very satisfied with this mat, looks pro! I still need to break it in more by exercising more, but so far everything is good. Only thing I'm not quite so sure is that it's slippery when I sweat a bit. When it's dry, perfect, but when it's wet, it's kinda tricky.

I use this mat when I teach in a studio with concrete floors. The Pro is perfect support for my knees but solid enough so that I can balance and still feel grounded. This color is gorgeous so that's a bonus.

I've only been practicing yoga for a little over two years and this is my third mat, my first two fell apart. The weight of this Manduka May is what I noticed first, heavy. I did the salt suggestion before using it but I still get a little slipping in downward dog, but this seems normal with new mats. It's wider so my knees stay on in a deep child's pose so that's great. I hope to use this for years to come.

It's just what I expect from a yoga mat: provides an excellent support, it's firm, tough, giving me the complete freedom to concentrate on the movement, poses and breathing without having to adjust the mat all along the practice. I thought it was expensive but given its quality, I just can't consider it as such anymore. Should anything happen to it (which I doubt, unless it's stolen from me), I would repurchase without thinking twice.
