This mat just *feels* like it is going to last me a long, long time. I love that it's slightly larger than the standard mat and that it feels sturdy enough to stay in place during my practice.

Loved it perfect for working out

Great product after 4 years use. I wouldn't normally make a special trip to a website to review a product but our Manduka Pro 6mm mat has been so good since we got it I wanted to come and praise it. My wife and I have used it daily for all that time + kids walking on it etc and it till looks and feels like new. I'm 45 and I reckon I'll still have this mat when I'm 65. It was definitely a little slippy at first but after some salt scrubbing and a month or two of use it became flawless.

Mat was extremely slippery for hot yoga. Bought this mat specifically based on description for hot yoga. Followed the directions and salted mat for 24 hours.

I love being able to order a longer mat plus it is thick and more durable.

This is my wife's third yoga Mat. Not to mention the other brands, but she did not enjoy them. She had tried my Manduka mat. That's when she wanted a Manduka mat. Similar to mine and that this is the reason why we both have one now.

Beautiful yoga mat. Great quality. As it's the first time using it, it is a bit slippery. I will probably use some sea salt as suggested to help with the grip. It'll also help with my knees too as it is a good thickness. I really would recommend.

Great colour, quality and delivery

It has very good grip and it feels very durable. I also enjoy the cushioning for my knees.

I love this mat and the color. I bought two, one for home practice and one when being at my parents place. Now considering to buy a third one for the shale practice. So convinced am I :-) Should have invested earlier in the PRO collection. one disadvantage: quite heavy especially since I have chosen the long version due to my hight. The solution is: place them everywhere, no carrying but quality earthing while practising. For travelling I would take the prolite. Manduka is simply perfect and the customer support brilliant. thank you!

Very durable, comfortable material. Extra length, width and thickness are greatly appreciated (comes from a tall, wide-shouldered, heavy ectomorph perspective), however it also means the mat is much heavier than standard yoga mats (usually not a big issue but can't dry it by hanging it on clips without risking damage to the mat and the width doesn't fit most hangers - takes improvisation and creativity to adapt). At first the surface gets slippery when it comes in touch with sweat but after lightly scrubbing it with mildly abrasive sponge once, and dozen or so uses afterwards, it gets noticeably better and keeps getting better still. The color (verve red) is beautiful but I've been hoping for a slightly more vivid shade of red. Altogether, a beautiful quality mat; I'm very satisfied & happy with it.
