Ive used this for 70+ days of hot yoga practice and the PRO Yoga Mat provides the support I need, especially in the balancing series. When I traveled for two days I rented a thin cheap studio mat and I really felt the difference. Manduka PRO Yoga Mat is IT.

Aesthetically, this may is beautiful! Its long which is great for when Im sweating in yoga. Mat is stable and once broken is is fantastic!

Excellent mat. Thick cushioning and support. The closed cell material also makes it pleasant for very sweaty hot yoga practices.

The Manduka Pro is my favorite may in the world. I have been practicing for 12 years and tried so many others, this is the BEST! I'm also a teacher trainer, studio owner and retreat leader, so I recommend these mats to all my students. I bought my Manduka Pro mat after completing YTT and it has changed my practice for the better in a few ways, at this time I really don't forsee ever using any other mat again. I had been using a cheap 1 inch mat since beginning yoga and thought my practice was great as I was rapidly progressing but upgrading to a Manduka Pro, which is much thinner but more dense and stable, has been an eye opener; I'm able to go deeper into poses and feel stable there, my mat doesn't stretch out when I go into downward dog nor does it slide across the floor easily. I didn't do the traditional sea salt break in, I practiced twice daily for 3 days before I decided that it could benefit from some break in, instead of the salt method I used a damp magic eraser sponge to break it in and it was done within 5 minutes, after that was finished I dried it with a microfiber rag then sprayed with Manduka mat wash & dried again, after that it was perfect and I haven't had any issues with slipping since. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and look forward to a lifetime of yoga on this mat.

I treated my beautiful new Manduka mat with sea salt to break it in quickly and that worked like a charm! Its got great grip and is the perfect thickness. Very happy!

I purchased my first Manduka mat in 2001, about a year after I first began to practice. A Manduka Pro. My husband got one too. I've been doing yoga since then on a daily basis, teaching since 2007. It is STILL my preferred mat--and it looks and functions exactly the same now, 23 years later, as it did the day I bought it. Through the years, I've also purchased a lighter travel mat for conferences and classes away. Another 3 mats for students to use in my studio when they have forgotten theirs, two more for gifts, two more because I love the colors there are now, and today I just bought one of the super large mats because in our new home, I have a tile floor in the area I Zoom teach from rather than the wood floor in my practice/teaching space, so I need a bit of extra padding under my good ole Manduka Pro. I recommend Manduka to all my clients. What a great company. What a great product. I have kept so many mats out of landfills because of you, Manduka. Thank you. Definitely a life-long purchase.

Love this mat. I only buy Manduka mats and this is a replacement for one of my old mats. Its even bigger and thicker than before. I love Manduka!

I think this mat will be my forever mat! It thick and grippy and after a week no longer a little slippy. Fast delivery and I would highly recommend.
