Love it! Manduka is a such a great quality mat...

After a few days of use I find this mat ideal for practicing asanas, the grip is excellent and once placed on the floor it does not move.

Ive had my mat for 14+ yrs! I picked it out for yoga teacher training in 2012 and have loved it ever since. Its super grippy and I like the density of it (so comfy)! I practice a lot but always keep it clean and its lasted me forever. The only way Im replacing it is if its in a different color;)

Was so excited to upgrade and receive this beautiful mat. Unfortunately, the eQua towel I purchased it with bled and left a stubborn stain where moisture accumulated after my first round of hot yoga. I've reached out to customer service twice, and haven't received any kind of resolution after several weeks. The mat is great quality, but the lack of customer service response has been very disappointing.

No grip. I slide more on this mat than any I have had. For the price I am so disappointed. I like the length and thickness but absolutely cant kept a grip on it.

Unfortunately, the Manduka Pro mat remains extremely slippery even after ten uses, despite following all recommended treatments like leaving it with salt and open. Is this common? This issue significantly impacts its usability and overall performance.

It is very slippery It is impossible to hold mountain posture. Also putting salt doesnt help. I cant use it for Hatha Yoga.

I am a yogi of 8+ years and got two of these mats, one for me and one for my partner. I have been practicing on it for around 3 months and it is still VERY slippery. I have tried the salt scrub, leaving it out to dry for days, wiping it down many times, and just continuing to practice on it like they suggested. My partner is having the same issue and it is very distracting to our yoga practice. I really wanted to like this mat because it seems more durable than other ones I've tried, but I do not recommend it because the slippery coating makes transitions and balances extremely difficult.

Just too heavy

Love this yoga mat! Its high quality and provides nice support. Its great for home use, but Im considering lighter mat for classes.

I was shocked to learn that it would take up to 3 months for me to break in this mat so that it would allow me to practice my heat yoga without slipping. I had one of your latex mats that was awesome but found out I was allergic to latex so ordered the proseries. Do not like using a towel and attend 5-6 heat clsses per week and was hoping for the same grip as before.

The quality of this mat is so apparent. I am relatively new to yoga and felt like the website gave me a really good idea of what mat was best for me. I like the colors and while the price is a bit high, they have a lifetime warranty and great brand recognition.

We love that your mat is NOT made in China. But the surface is very slippery, especially if you sweat a little.

Ive been practicing yoga for twelve years and this mat really improved my practice. Before this one, I used my previous mat for ten years. This one was a huge upgrade. Amazing grip, nice and dense vs being thick. I feel strong and stable on it. Im so happy I invested in it. I hope to have this mat for another ten years.

I have purchased several Manduka Pro mats for myself and as gifts and the colors shown on screen have always accurately matched the live version. However, the Tiger color may I recently ordered is actually much darker than shown online. I was so disappointed in the color when delivered a muddied orange-brick color, not a bright orange at allwhich I never would have ordered.

Super cushion

Sturdy, very firm practice surface. I did after a couple of slippery yoga sessions, salt the surface as directed, to remove the manufacturing slick and the process worked pretty well. The mat eased into a much grippier surface and I look forward to "practicing" (not breaking ) the mat in. The feel is very different than my more affordable beginner mat. I am intrigued and my practice is deepening. I recommend this mat.

Total Noob, just starting out, the wife had two mats. One of them being this style, the other thinner. I felt bad with her loaning her "good mat" to me during my first couple of sessions. Then one day I grabbed her other thinner mat. The sheer difference was insane about the level of comfort this mat gives. Made me instantly go and purchase this one. The extra cushion is forgiving on my back. Helps me feel the yoga practice melt away some of the sore damage wearing >45 lbs packs while I served. I could do certain poses through the entire duration on this mat vs. the thinner one. I will say, the noticeable difference between her used and 'broken-in' one vs. brand new out of the box; really spend time on it it can be a bit slippery out of the box.

Really grippy and much thicker than your average Walmart, target, tjmaxx, etc. yoga mat (where I got my first mat). Fantastic for active yogis.

Came super fast. Amazing quality even better than last time.

It is robust and solid, I have only had it for a few days, but if it is true that the grip increases with use, it will be perfect.
