I suffer from plantar fascitis. I need a little more support for over pronation.

I bought these sneakers 6/28/2017 after my husband swore by them. Well the first time I wore them my feet felt on fire, then they started to feel numb. Not sure what was going on. After I finished my 3 mile run, I was about 1 mile from my home. I was in such pain I had to take the sneakers off and walk home in my socks. I chalked it up to ease into them to get used to them. I've run with them only about 4 times and I was having the same issues. Not as severe as the first time. I wore them yesterday again and the same thing happened as my initial run. I could not walk. The numbness and cramping were truly unbearable. I contacted Hoka about the 30 day guarantee. Be warned that only applies if you order directly from them. I am very disappointed. I spent all that money and can not wear the sneakers and Hoka in my opinion is not standing behind their product if sold in retail stores.

I absolutely love my shoes. I use them at work. After long 12 hour shifts my feet needed better shoes and these have been perfect. I love the support the shoe gives me!

I wore this pair of wide shoes out on a paved trail ready to return them the next day. I was pleasantly surprised when not only did they fit great, but they made me feel like I was walking on air. I have CMT (foot drop, hammer toes, high arches) and bunions and with my custom orthotics they are the best shoes on the market. I only wish they offered the hip colors in the wide widths - throw the younger women a bone! :)

I was really excited because I had heard the brand was good. I had plantar fasciitis recently and my podiatrist recommended them. They are a little pricey for me, so my mom came with me and bought them for me for my birthday. They are the right size, I wear a straight nine. But soon after I put them on, the toes on my right foot start to go numb. At first I thought I laced them too tight... but it happens every time. I'm bummed. Also the first time I got on the floor to do mountain climbers, the tread wouldn't stick to the floor and I slipped.

I bought these after reading a great review in Runner's World and because of their reputation as the lightest/fastest/least cushioned Hoka, which would still be more cushioning than I'm used to. I was looking for more cushion but not too much, and that part was not an issue. But I was shocked by how stiff the upper fabric was over the toes, especially because reviewers described it as "breathable." It felt like they sprayed hard plastic on it. So when you walk or run and bend your foot, the fabric bunches up and digs in to the tops of your toes. It was painful just walking around the store. Everyone I showed it to in the store felt this plastic upper and agreed with me. It's not like the other Hokas, which do not have this problem. I exchanged it for a Clayton and the Clayton is fine so far although heavier and wider than I like. To be fair, now that I've read that most people find that the Hupana runs large, maybe my usual size was too large. This would account for extra fabric in the upper, but not for that hard plastic spray-on which made it really dig in painfully. I don't understand why no one else has mentioned this. Perhaps I just got a defective pair.

I run marathons, and I decided to give these a try, mostly because my legs were needing more and more recovery time after each race or long distance run. But my legs feel fresher every run.
The only thing I had to get use to was the height of the shoe and how it slightly changed the way I run/use my legs-not in a bad way-but more efficient I suppose?

To start, I bought the wrong shoe for my needs. I am a distance runner, with a bad overpronation. There is so much cushion I felt like I was 'sinking' into the pavement, and couldn't take my next stride quick enough. The Arahi is a great shoe, but I had to return it and go back to the Bondi 5.

Considering how much I love my Hoka Vanquish shoes, I had high hopes for the Hupana. But I was sadly mistaken. While they were good looking shoes, they were way too shallow, especially in the toe box, & did not accommodate my arch supports. The stiff lining around the lace eyelets was also very uncomfortable on the top of my foot and they were lacking the rocker soles that help with my foot condition. Exchanging for the Clifton and hoping they will be more accommodative for my feet!

The Arahi is an attractive shoe and it initially felt good. Unfortunately, after the first run, it caused a big blister on the back of my left foot. I'm usually good about tying my shoes so that I feel locked in, but the shoe still rubbed the back of my foot. My other foot was fine, so I don't know if it was just a defect in that one shoe. Also, it did not feel cushiony enough for my feet (maybe that's the stability factor?). I have sent it back and hope to get my requested exchange soon, the Clifton 4. I have a great experience with the Clifton 3, so I hope the 4 will be just as satisfactory. I just wanted to try a different model (and I gave it a 2nd star because it came in purple). I am still a big fan of Hokas! I've been wearing Hokas for the past 3 years since I started running and they are easier on my middle-aged body, haha. Mahalo, Hoka!

Great shoe. A tad tight, but no need for concern. Great shoe for all types of workouts.

Better than any other running shoe I have ever bought and I have tried many different brands. They do run larger than other brands. I am a 7.5 but usually buy an 8.5 in my running shoes. I'm glad I only bought an 8 in these because it's a perfect fit and any larger would have been too large.

On the 4th of July I ran a 5K in the rain, LOVED the shoes. My feet were dry from the rain and the traction on the wet road was Awesome.

Essentially a slightly thicker half zip running shirt, this may provide enough warmth for the winter months if you lived in SoCal, but not Ohio. This is a good transition top for fall and spring and for summer nights. Solid tech top for training and refined enough to throw on for a bonfire or out on the town as a light jacket. Fit is perfect, not too slim to layer over a tshirt, not too boxy that it hangs or billows in the wind. Finally, a solid long sleeve top from Hoka! Now if this just came in some brighter colors...

This was my third purchase of Hoka shoes. I love my Arahi shoes and hiking boots. In comparison, these shoes had no cushioning or support. I was really looking forward to enjoying these shoes all summer as they are lightweight and breathable.
I have hammertoes and need a deeper toebox and ball of foot cushioning, but these shoes did not meet my needs. I was hoping that Hoka would expand into cushiony casual shoes, but if this shoe exemplifies a move in that direction I hope they amp up the cushioning.

Too tight and narrow. Not comfortable at all! I was really looking for a comfortable running shoe.
