This is my first pair of Hoka shoes and I am pleasantly surprised with how comfortable they are. Extremely lightweight and cushioned. I am a runner and haven't tried running in them yet but I've used them for walking and for fitness classes and they were perfect. I'm pleased with my new shoes!

I had Hoka sneakers but decided to try a new kind of style...not too much of a fan but these do the job. What is annoying is that there's this pattern sewn on the side of the right shoe that rubs through my sock and caused a blister on the side of my foot.

Very good support. The only thing I do not care for is the rocking backward at the heel. I am sure it will just take time to get used to.

I run about 20 miles per week. They feel too wide when I start out but as my run goes on they feel fine. I live the cushion and stability.

Unfortunately all of the running I have done has caused my arch to fall. My first run in these shoes was also my first run without pain! These will definitely be my new favorite brand!! I would love to see some additional color options though, something a little more toned down and neuatral. Maybe some grey and silver with a pop of red :)

So far so good, I have thin feet and they fit great in the heal and arch. They also have a nice roomy toe box. Look forward to putting on some more miles. Lightweight and cushion-y. :)

Love the Hupana's!! Lightweight and responsive. Just wish they were a touch wider.

I bought this shoe to replace my Nike flyknits that I literally 'wore out'! I decided to see how they were for running, as I was running in a Hoka Stinson lite due to having had knee issues at my 'over 50' age. Stinson's helped tremendously, and I loved them other than the 'clunky/bulky' look. I really didn't think the Hupana's would 'work' for my running as they were so much lighter/didn't seem like they could possibly have the cushion. I was pleasantly surprised and this is now my 'go to' shoe. SO comfortable. My only 'complaint' is that in a Stinson, I wore an 8 for running purposes (normal shoe is 7 1/2). In a Hupana, the 8 was 'long', but I decided to keep them as I liked them so much. I just ordered a second pair in a 7 1/2 and they were perfect. Now I wish I'd sent the 8's back within the 30 days (it's been a little over 60 days). Go a 1/2 size smaller and it will be good (same size as my Nike flyknits).

Still looking for a supportive black sneaker that can be used to referee sports. This is a HUGE market for both men and women, so if Hoka can figure this out, they might increase sales:)

I can wear this shoe from running on the road to running to the grocery store. Very comfortable, a little tight in the tongue area. Also a little more narrow than normal Hoka's.

I have a bunch of Hoka's. Doc told me to get them a few years ago due to ankle issues. The Hupana's are less cushy all around, and at least between the these black ones and the pretty purply-blue floral ones, there's variation in fit. Same size, different fit. The Hupana is less "running shoe" looking, a bit shoeier. I add SOLE inserts and find the combo good, though, for longer walks, I'd go with the Clifton, Stinson, etc. Hoka was bought out. The fit changes a lot from model to model and generation to generation - they have to be tried on. Still finding Hoka's cushion good for my feet. Hoping Deckers, the new owners, doesn't ruin it.
I'd also recommend:
Saucony, Brooks

I run distance. This shoe was brought to my attention 3 years ago. I haven't bought another shoe since. I just finished my third Palmetto 200 in Hokas, and turned 3 of my running friends and 2 nurse friends into Hoka lovers! Hoka has my heart.

I love the shoe for its cushion and stability, but going over 4 miles I got blisters on my arches and the balls of my feet. It has been very painful to train for my race. Someone suggested I take out the foot bed because where it hit my arch/ball of foot is what it seemed to be where my blisters were. After taking out the foot bed, it has been great and I've been able to train again with no issues.

I absolutely love the feel of this shoe on my foot, even though they are a bit too snug. They fit my foot like a glove, and the cushioning is unbelievable. The arch support seems to be just right for me.They are the most comfortable shoes I have had on my foot in a long time, I have tried several brands and styles out there. Along with that, they are super cute! I figured that I wouldn't be able to wear them running, as they are a bit snug and I could use a women's 11 1/2 which Hoka does not yet make !!! BUT, now that they come in a wide, thank you, I am keeping these for jeans and ordering another pair!

I probably like the way this shoe feels better than any in the Hoka line, even though they are a half size too small and Hoka doesn't make them any bigger! I wear a women's size 11. They hug thr feet, have a really nice cushion and I like the heel to toe ratio. I feel a little on the narrow side, but like I say I need a size 11 1/2. If I order the men's to be too loose in the midfoot.
