I am on my second paid of Hupanas. They are my new favorite shoes. I had been using Brooks Pure Connect shoes for years and was never a fan of the huge sole of the Hokas. These shoes look more "normal" and are very light and comfortable while still providing more cushion than i am used to. I use them for gym workouts and have gone up to 16.5 miles in them and they have been great. I did feel like after about 300-320 miles they got a bit squishy so I replaced with a new pair and use the older ones for day to day walking. I will continue to buy these shoes

I clicked feels true to width but I have a somewhat narrow foot and the Hupana fits like a glove.

I have been running in Cliftons for a couple of years and just switched to Hupana's. The biggest difference I've noticed is how amazing they feel on track work outs. They are very light yet have just the right amount of support and cushion, making you feel fast and light. The only problem is they don't have that much traction, so not the best for trail running, but it is the best road/track running shoe I have found so far.

Most comfortable shoe I've had in a long time. And I've tried many. I've had foot surgery and pain over the years

This is my third pair since I discovered Hoka. The fit on all of the shoes I've bought are perfect. The Hupana is very stylish, but still has the Hoka comfort you expect. Since this shoe has less soul then other's, you may notice they are not quit as cushioning. For myself this is moot, since I find them to be perfect for what I use them for...gym, walking, wearing out to errands.

I bought these after trying to find a shoe similar to the Saucony Kinvara which I have worn for years and these are simply superior. Upper was a tad stiff to begin as others suggested but has softened after 4-5 runs. These shoes have a fast, snappy feel with the best transition from heel to toe I have ever experienced in any shoe - yet remain quite plush. I have worn them in both tempo workouts in which they excel but also have very good cushioning for longer runs. I hope Hoka keeps these around for many years to come. Ride/cushion combination is simply the best I have ever experienced in any running shoe. 5 mm drop is perfect.

I previously have used Hoka Cliftons. Have also used running shoes from Asics, Saucony, and New Balance. The Hupanas fit my feet very well and don't have the, ahem, less-than-hip look of other Hokas. They manage to be low to the pavement while still offering exceptional comfort. I use these for gym training, pavement running, and as casual shoes. I typically run 5k or less, not a distance runner. I wear these daily and liked them enough that I now own 3 pair ...

I have been looking for a new running shoe for awhile.
I had been running in Brooks Pureflows 1 through 4 for years but Brooks ruined the line with horrible updates, read the reviews.
I absolutely love these Hupanas, super lightweight, very responsive, without sacrificing cushion.
I ran a 12 miler straight out of the box, I did get a little hot spot on my pinky toe, but adjusted the lacing and everything is fine.
I like how Hupanas perform while not looking like a typical Hoka moon shoe.
I will definitely be getting another pair or two.

I currently own two pairs of the Hupana, and had to give it a great review. It is a very versatile shoe. I mainly use it at the track, and at the gym. I have also done many long runs with them on the street, and they hold up very well. It is not my "go to" shoe for long runs like the Clifton 3, but I must say they are very comfortable and feel great. Plenty of cushion, responsive, and well balance shoe. I have nothing but praise for the Hupana. Nice job on this one Hoka One One!

Great for a daily use. I used them every day in Hawaii during the first week, walking on different surfaces without any problem. Great cushion.

The shoes are a bit tight around your foot but kind of need to be so you can do workouts without the give other shoes have. Left to right movements and the shoe stays taught. I've tried many types of boot camp/Metcon shoes by various brands. This is easily the best of the lot. I'll buy another pair for sure.

I love this shoe so very much! I have the Hupana in every color variant available at the moment. It is my go to shoe for work everyday but it is super comfortable and stylish, not too big and bulky like other models. My ONLY complaint is the limited color options. Give the men more options! A white and black variant maybe? It is so close to being perfect, just wish there were more options for us dudes!

I have 2 pairs of the Hupana's. They not only look good they feel good too while training. I wear them for all my runs of 10 miles or longer. Light enough and have support. I am a big Adidas fan and now switch back and fourth b/w each brand. I'm 510/166 and age is 52.

I wear them daily. I have neuromas in both feet. This is my second pair of your shoes. Only ones I have found that are comfortable all the time.

I love these shoes. Some say they are narrow but I think it helps keep the shoe more stable while still maintaining comfort. The sizing is true, the support is good, styling is great, and very comfortable. If I were to add anything it might t more padding in key areas such as heel and tongue. This is a great shoe and I hope they come out with more color options.

This is as close as I can get to a perfect fit, comfort and style. Some have reviewed this shoe as a little narrow but to me it is just right. I bought this shoe for all purpose use. The cushioning is not the same as most Hoka but still nice. I am a solid 11.5 and the fit is just right. What an awesome shoe and Zappos shipping is awesome as always.

Friend told me about these as I had never heard of them before. I wear them everyday, and one of the more comfortable pairs I’ve had. Haven’t had to put arch supports in them like I do most other brands which is a plus. They were true to size and width as well when I got them. Had them about four months now and wearing well.

After years of running 1/2 and full marathons, one day I couldn't run for 30 seconds due to calf pain. Thought I had shin splints, but felt more like pressure building up to where pain made me stop. Finally diagnosed with chronic exertional compartment syndrome. Two surgeries in 12 months, but still couldn't run for longer than 30-60 seconds. I've tried the Bondi and Clifton, but pressure building up remained. Run, walk until pain subsided and repeat. Until yesterday. Decided to try the Hupana and just like that, I'm running again. For the first time in years I had to stop because I was winded, not because of pain. Knocked out two miles and legs feel great today.

I run a minimum of 50 miles a week and since switching to the Hoka Hupana I have no foot pain, no Achilles pain, no arch pain. The only complaint I have is they are slick on wet pavement, and its damp a lot in SF. Best shoes for a guy about 180 and thinner. Stability might be an issue if your heavier than that. GREAT shoes. I just ran my third Marathon in them and they are light and very cushioned.
