LOVE THESE. These are my first Birks - I've resisted them for years because I thought they were clunky and unfeminine. The Lola style looked great and was comfortable right out of the box from day one. They do fit more narrowly than standard Birks, and that may be what made the difference for me. I wore them nearly every day on a trip to Barcelona, and I give them 2 thumbs up for the style and comfort. I am normally a 6 to 6-1/2 medium and the 36 narrow fit perfectly (I recommend tightening the ankle strap as much as possible for added support). I have the Sand color and I'm eying up another pair in the beautiful coral color.

I am very sad to return these; they looked very graceful and the nubuck beige was a great neutral. However, my forefoot was too shallow to fit securely in the cross straps in front. Too much movement and therefore not a good bet for me. So, those of you who have shallow feet in front, these are not the shoes for you — they are not narrow by any definition of the word so don’t understand that description!

Overall a great fit and more stylish than an regular pair of active sandals.

I would say these run about a half-size too big. I usually wear an 8 so I bought size 39, but had to size down to the 38 which fits perfectly. They're really lovely shoes and I love wearing them. They hit in that sweet spot between dressy and casual and could be worn either way. They have just enough of a wedge to give some lift and style, but not so much that they're uncomfortable. The style and quality are great. These are exactly what I was looking for as my go-to sandal this summer.

I love these! I have wide forefeet and tiny dainty heels, and these fit super well for me. No pinching on the forefoot- and I'm used to not even being able to squeeze my wide feet into some normal sized shoes. They are very flattering, a great color, etc. I was concerned that I received knock off shoes when they arrived branded "Papillio," but a quick google search verified that it's just a line of Birk sandals.

I always wear a 36 in Birks and Papillos. While the Lola says it's narrow, I did not find that to be true at all. They are actually wider and larger than any of my other size 36 Birks/Papillos. That being said, these are absolutely ADORABLE and super comfy! Probably the most versatile Birks I own because they'll look awesome with jeans, skirts, shorts, etc.

Love this Birk! So cute and comfortable. It is a little narrow compared to my regular Arizonas. But not enough for me to send back. So glad I bought this pair. I have something a little more dressy but still comfy to wear with summer dresses. My foot does rub a little along the arch but I’m hoping that goes away after the normal Birkenstock break in period. Loving this shoe so far!

These shoes are beautiful but are one size larger than the typical Birkenstock. Order one size smaller than the size you wear such as Birkenstock Arizona. They are comfy with no breaking in. The width narrow is actually regular. I had to return for one size smaller.

I love these!! This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and they are so incredibly comfortable and cute. I've been wearing some very comfortable sandals with memory foam for a while, but they left my feet aching at the end of each day. I decided to give Birkenstocks a try because I've heard the support is great on the feet. I'm so impressed! I've worn Lola two days in a row and my feet feel great when I take them off. I bought the metallic frosted silver color, and they are perfect for summer and go great with shorts. I love the added height, but it doesn't feel like I'm wearing heels. They provide lots of comfort and are great quality, and have a more feminine look than most of the other Birkenstocks I've looked into.

I LOVE these shoes. I wear them almost everyday. We are business casual in Florida and I wear them to work. I get a compliment every time I wear them, sometimes more than once. I think they are more comfortable than my traditional Birks, and definitely better looking. I highly recommend this shoe, but definitely try on different sizes. I bought a size that is different than my traditional Birk. You will love these shoes.

This is a gorgeous, stylish AND comfortable shoe. I am a consistent 7.5 and ordered the 38, as I usually wear a 38 in Euro sizes. However, it was too long and I returned it for the 37, which fits perfectly. Highly recommend!

GREAT shoe! I finally found one that works for me. I am a size 6W, and I bought this in size 36. I was turned off by this shoe at first because I tried size 37 in stores and it flapped a lot. I'm glad I gave it a second chance. It is definitely wide enough. It is a super versatile and comfortable shoe for the summer. I walk a ton on weekends and sometimes to and from work. When the ankle strap is covered, it has a Jandal look which isn't really my style, but overall I love it! I'm still new to shoes with intense arch support, so I am still in the process of breaking them in. So far so good, not really any pain as many sites say about Birkenstocks.

I wanted the comfort of Birkenstocks but did not want a style without a heel strap. These shoes are gorgeous - a little heel and the comfort of Birkenstocks with the security of a heel strap. I hope the company continues to offer shoes like these - more stylish and a bit more dressy.

Love, love, love - the look and super comfortable. I was a bit hesitant paying this much for a shoe, but glad I did. I deserve it!

These are great sandals! They're super comfy and light, although I agree with other reviewers who say they run a bit large. I usually wear a UK 39, but I got these in a 38 and they fit perfectly. They're definitely roomy, probably not a good fit if you have thin feet, but if not, they're great!

Super cute & stylish AND comfortable. A stylish Birkenstock? Yes! These shoes are adorable and flattering. Yes, the front part is a little big so if you want the straps across your toes to be tight, don't get these. However, the back strap that wraps around your ankle is adjustable to hold the show on your foot. For me, the cuteness of the shoes is worth the loose fit.

OK...very picky about shoes and everything people are saying is true--I have wide-ish feet and this shoe is listed as "narrow" and they are certainly NOT narrow. They feel like a perfect medium. I paid attention to reviews and ordered a whole size smaller than my regular size and sure enough-- perfect fit. I ordered the silver and they are beautiful and comfortable. I'm using them for an upcoming wedding. Love, love love...

OH MY GOSH. Can I love a shoe? Because I LOVE THIS SHOE. It's been probably 18 years since I've had a pair of birkenstocks (not quite sure why it's been so long?), so I was so tickled by just how perfect this shoe is. I got it in the Frosted Metallic Rose Leather, which is the most gorgeous neutral color and classes it up a bit, so I'll be able to wear it for work events as well as just on my own personal time. And it's so comfortable, so cute and feminine, and I love that it's got a little boost in height. I've already ordered in another color I love it so much. Birkenstock had better always make these in this color because I can tell I'm going to want to have them around for a long, long time!

I typically order the Papillio sandals by Birkenstock as they seem more feminine and stylish and these do not disappoint! To me the size was right on (I order a 37 every time and it always fits perfect) and the comfort level is superb! I love how neutral the frosted metallic rose is - it can go with anything! Dressing up or dressing down these will easily become one of my main go to sandals.

Nice shoe! The heel isn't high, but it's just high enough to read as a wedge i.e. is a bit dressier than your average Birkenstock shoe. They definitely AREN'T narrow. My foot is on the wide side of medium, and I have room in these to spare. I think a wide foot would probably be ok in them too. Unless you have a high arch and wide foot, the front uppers won't grab your foot but rather float above it, but it's ok for them to fit loosely (that's the typical Birkenstock fit anyhow), since the solid ankle strap holds your foot in place well, and the shoe's support comes from the footbed, not the upper. This is a perfect shoe for someone with a wedge-shaped foot. As for the sizing: I take exactly the same Euro size in these shoes as I do in Birkenstock's flat Florida style. The size confusion is arising only because the U.S. sizes Zappos is using to "translate" the Euro sizing is wrong. I usually wear U.S. 8 - 8.5, and my usual Euro size is 38 or 38.5. These size 38 Birkenstocks are the perfect length for me. But Zappos is saying that the 38 fits size 7 - 7.5, which is wrong. So if you know your Euro size, order by that, and if you're going only by your U.S. size, you'll definitely need to size down by one full size. Hope this helps. As is typical for Birkenstocks, a pair of Lolas weighs almost nothing, making them the perfect shoe to throw in a suitcase for travel.
