I wanted this to replace the Born boots I purchased one year ago, which are insanely comfortable. It looks very similar, but the construction is dressier (no "opanka" stitching") and the toe is much more pointed. I just could not get on board with the styling, unfortunately. The search continues...

Lovely boots; gorgeously made; high-quality leather and design. I'm sending them back only because they didn't appear "dressy" enough (I was hoping for something sleek and formal that I could wear with tights and skirts, but the leather around the heel gaps in a way that makes them look much more casual).

I purchased these boots because I’m in love with the Born Trinculo style, but I don’t like the “distressed leather” material that they use for their black option. These boots have a more narrow look in foot and toe. They are also a smidge higher up the ankle than the Trinculo. They are comfortable but I ultimately returned them because I prefer the more relaxed style/look of the Trinculo.

I'm a working mom in the tech industry raising young kiddos. I needed a versatile boot that's comfortable and that I can shift from meetings to schlepping around all the things for my wonderful boys. These boots are great! Very happy with my purchase. They are pretty comfortable, stylish, and good quality.

I love the shoe it's stylish and appropriate for work. The shoes have a bit of sophistication about it. I have two pairs.

These are extremely comfortable. The leather is very soft and great arch support for my flat feet. A nice casual boot. They do run a little large, but just right for me. I like to wear heavier socks with mine during winters in Colorado.

I bought these in the black leather and gray suede. I am 6' tall and I like them because of the low heel and rubber sole. I found them to be true to size. I am wide across the toes but have a narrow heel. They didn't pinch my pinky toes. I wear them with rolled up skinny jeans.

Oh golly! I've used a black leather Ann Taylor for 4 years and have been looking for a replacement since last season. These Born are even better than my old Ann Taylor. They fit great and are super comfy... I'll be wearing these for quite some time ?

These look better in the picture than in person. They also run very large. Going back.

I wanted to love these boots but the quality on the heel is very poor. On two different pairs, the leather on the heel peeled after just two days of normal urban wear. Zappos handled the entire issue perfectly and refunded me the money, but save your time and don't buy these boots.

Comfortable and super cute. So far durable - but wear them a lot! Would definitely recommend.

I want to wear these all the time! Wonderful and comfortable. The fit is good, even with a pair of socks, and they are comfortable enough to wear seven days a week.

These are super comfortable... I absolutely love them!

I bought these boots to have flat/low heeled boots to wear with skinny jeans and leggings. I have 5 other pair of Born boots, so this makes 6! They seem to be very versatile because the leather is smooth and not distressed like some of my other boots which allow them to be dressed up a bit. I am wearing them with SmartWool footie socks which are a bit on the thicker side. I have an almost narrow foot and thought this boot fits almost like it is a narrow. I got the size 8.5 which is my true size in most everything I wear and I think these might be about a 1/4 size big, but I am pretty sure an 8 would be too small. They are fine with the thicker wool sock. So take what you may about the sizing...a bit narrow and a tad large.

These boots are amazing. They are perfect for walking in a big city. Tons of support.

The fit is a bit stiff but I've been wearing old leather boots that fit my foot to perfection so it will take a few days to wear them in. They are very comfortable and look gorgeous on!

The shoe was true to size and width. My foot is fairly narrow, so with a insert, the shoe fit quite well.

Quality

Love these boots so much that I am about to buy my second pair as I know I will wear these out so fast. They were so comfortable that now when I get home from work I forget to take off my shoes and put on my slippers. They are that comfortable and have been since the first moment I put them on. They look great both for work and more casual legging type outfits.

This will be my second pair of Easton Born boots. I paid much more in a major department store three years ago. They have worn amazingly well and I would not be replacing then had i not nicked a hole in the toe by accident on a very sharp metal door. I wear moderate arch supports and thicker cotton socks with these boots since I actually have a narrow foot. Three years of wear and the soles hardly show wear. The toe is roomy not to cramp your foot during a long day at work I have worn these boot for the last three years 85% of all Fall Winter and Spring days as our dress code is black pants in the office.

I'm 61 years old and have suffered with metatarsal pain from poorly cushioned shoes. Comfort is most important but I want a shoe that's fashionable too. The first time I wore these booties I walked 7.4 miles while Christmas shopping in Manhattan. Born is the BEST!!!! I was in TOTAL COMFORT! No pain! No blisters! I highly recommend these shoes.

This pair is a replacement pair, I wore the first pair out, even after doing the heels twice!!! So comfy.

This is a fabulous boot. Very comfortable and stylish. Order 1/2 size smaller.
