I want the item and black and we didn’t have it in the admin Brown, the exact same shoe but only in browned, about $50 more. I think that’s outrageous. Same shoe different color should be same price. I bought it only because I actually needed it and I couldn’t find any place else. But trust me I’m continuing to look and when I find it someplace else I’ll switch companies.

The shoes rub at the big toes, and feel very tight across the front. So far I have not tried wearing them more than 4 hours per day. I am hoping they will break in after a few days. (BTW, I removed the footbeds and inserted my own orthotics.)

Shoe is great, accommodates my orthotic, only issue is that it wears badly on outer heel due to pronation. I go through them much faster in new model than original 928.

Awesome fit and color. Stable insole and side support. True size fit.

Great for foot support & health. Love the look. Only shortcomings are a short tongue & lace. Otherwise a super shoe.

The shoe was great. We have to return for a 12 instead 12.5. The width was fine just need a 12.

I had to put the shoes on a stretcher for a couple days and forego the orthotics I usually use in walking shoes to get them to fit the way they're supposed to, and the result was good. I have wide feet and an arthritic big toe that needs a high toe box, and the stretcher did the trick. I was about to give up on NB after a couple of really atrocious fits, but this model might keep me around a little longer

New Balance is THE shoe for foot support and health. For some reason, NB has shortened the tongue of the shoe so that it is TOO SHORT and difficult to position correctly. I guess to match the TOO SHORT tongue, they provide laces that are... TOO SHORT. The shoe otherwise is great, but they need to use common sense with the length of the tongue and shoe laces. Previous models of NB men's walking shoes did NOT have these problems. Fix this & the shoe is as good as it can be...

I have to get these about every six months because they wear out with my feet issues. I buy them locally or direct from New Balance. When I ordered these through Zappos this time because my usual go to places did not have them in stock. I don't know if my feet have changed yet again or what, but this pair and one before them (I did get to return the first pair no hassles because they didn't seem right) for some reason have not relieved my knee and back pain like they normally do when I first get them.

The NB 928 Wide is an Icon among quality, stable, comfortable men’s shoes. This is my 3rd Pair over the past 8 years. Awesome in every way you measure a Shoe.
