I have 3 pair of these shoes and love them, but the last pair purchased was way too tight. Returned the last pair and now ordering a half size larger. We'll see if I need to start looking for another brand.

I have been wearing New Balance 928's for 21 years and this is the worst pair ever! I don't know what New Balance did to them but they are so uncomfortable that it isn't possible to wear them all day like I used to with other 928's.

These are the ugliest shoes ever. Should have returned them. I bought them for walking. They are heavy, look like they are for people with disabilities. Will never wear them unless no one will see them. 100% regret this purchase.

Hard, heavy, opposite. Tossed them in 5 min. Joints would have been destroyed

New Balance service has declined right along with their products. Shoes use to be comfortable now it feels like I am wearing logs on my feet.

The insole liner is non-supportive, the tongue is way to short and the traction pattern on the heels are quickly wearing bald after 1 month. It feels like walking with no insoles over a hard base. My feet literally hurt after wearing these. I don't recommend these shoes as I have yet to feel any benefit from wearing them.

The sole showed significant wear after 10 months of use--never had anything like this with a pair of NB shoes in the past. Very unhappy with their sizing--their "wide" shoes seem to be getting narrower over time, such that I think there is now only one style of their shoes (928V3) that is wide enough for my feet. What's more, there seems to be no consistency in width sizing across different styles of shoes--while a 6E width in the 928V3 fits me okay, a 6E width in another NB shoe will be too narrow. Width is a measurable quantity--a 6E should be a 6E in width regardles of what style of shoe is involved, but this is clearly not the case.

I have been buying this shoe type from New Balance for about 20 years. The heel padding in this pair has already pushed down and bunched up so as to be uncomfortable to wear. Obviously something changed in manufacturing and degraded durability as this had never occurred in any of my other purchases.

The tongue rode on the top of my arch enough that I couldn't get comfortable in the shoes. The fit was spot on, but the rubbing on the top of my arch wasn't something I would want to try to adjust to.
