I bought these because these are what my podiatrist prescribe. He said I needed a sturdy shoe to prevent my foot from flexing too much. It will help reduce inflammation which causes pain!

Great Shoe, great fit, very good shoe for walking all the time

I have had 6 pairs of these. They are the only shoe that the Foot and Ankle surgeon instructs me to purchase.Thus essential . I'm frustrated now because that are unavailable in my size. Help!!

I've worn this shoe for 3 years. This is my second pair. It is just as comfortable as the old ones.

I've been wearing NB for over 15 years. I needed knee replacement and started wearing the 990 shoe to allow me to get through my day. I had both knees replaced in 2014/2015, and switched to the 928, The shoe makes up for the lack of fluidity in my walk since my cartilage is now plastic. Any distance walking like exercising and sightseeing would be severely limited without my NB's

This is basically the same shoe that I bought about ten years ago. Can't go wrong if a shoe lasts that long.

After walking approximately 100 miles over the last 4-5 months these shoes look and feel like new. very little wear to the heels and the remainder of the shoe looks new. Having chronic plantar fasciitis for over 10 years these shoes work well with superfeet blue inserts and I have been mostly pain free wearing these shoes for walking. With the exception of a short tongue, I would definitely recommend these shoes.

I found when trying these shoes on, i thought they were, comfy, fit really good, and never hurt my feet. These 847 are great shoes and i love the rollbar shoes i have bad feet and these work good for people who need alot of support and have problems with there feet

In 2009, I began having an issue with my lower back and sciatic. At that point I went to a podiatrist to see what could be done. He gave me a list of shoes that I should have been wearing all along and at the top of each category, were New Balance. I began wearing the 928 with the New Balance arch support inserts and have never had a problem since. I tried the 847 at one point, but it didn't work for me. I love the 928, this will most likely be my lifetime "go to" shoe.

Only one small complaint--the shoe tongue is about a quarter inch too short if you lace it all the way up. With the tongue at its current length, the laces have a tendency to rest on the top of the foot, not the top of the tongue. Other than that, they're quite comfortable, very stable, and well worth it

Great work and walking shoes , I found them quite comfortable from the start , very well built with soft but thicker leather then I usually see on other athletic type shoes, would buy again

I have had the shoes for about two weeks. I walk 3-4 miles per day. They have been very comfortable and have given me solid arch support. I love them.
