DISCLAIMER: I fully acknowledge that everyone's feet are different. With that said: I have had wonderful experiences with v1 and v2....................this v3 is horrible for me! I've usually worn a 9.5W or a 10 Normal. I went to the NB store I've been going to for years. I had the consultant measure my feet. I tried on those 2 sizes and I decided to get the 9.5W. But a few days later I realized that it was difficult to walk smoothly and I was dragging the shoes, as I was nearly walking out of them. I got home and looked at the size on the box and the shoes, and they ended up being the 10 Normal. There was no problem exchanging them. However, after a week or more of walking in them-I don't know what happened, but the 9.5W also started to drop off my heels. (I use orthotics, and I always start new shoes with using only **my** orthotics as the insole. Eventually, the shoe relaxes and I'll put the original insole on top of my orthotic. Unfortunately, this didn't work. Thicker socks and another shoe liner/insole didn't work either. Unless the v4 is better, I won't be buying these shoes anymore.

Purchased my 3rd pair of this shoe earlier this year, Manufactured 03/2018. From day one couldn't wear them for more than 2 hrs and had to go back to wearing my shoes from 2017 until they totally wore out. Guess I'm going to try buying new ones, just hope the new ones are better.

I have worn the same size New Balance for decades. I've not had a weight change. I have 928 in several pairs, B width, which I last ordered 2 years ago. I ordered these 928GR3 to replace my worn ones. The toe box is definitely narrower, and pinches, crunches my toes. My first 3 toes are all the same length. What I loved about the previous 928, is that the toe box was roomy, but no more. I have a regular width heel and ankle. I also tried the D width, but it was huge everywhere, sloppy. I'm so sad, as now I have to search for a completely different shoe.

I bought 2 pair of these 928v3. I've been wearing 1 pai for less than 2 weeks.....I now have athletes foot!!. I believe these we're tried on by someone infected and returned and sent to me, or they just have no breathability, i believe the former. I'm sending the other pair back.

very disappointed. The shoe did not fit as it used to. Toe is not as wide and just did not feel the same. I don't understand why the need to change things.

Been wearing the 928 since 2006. Was a great shoe but the v2 and 3 models are terrible. The support of the 928 is gone. The shoe hurts across the top of the ankle. Tongues are way too short. Will not buy again.

Always bought NB and loved every pair UNTIL they came out with the 928v3. I literally hate these shoes. Still wearing the 928 that are ratty. 928v3 sitting has been iin my closet over 3 years. I feel like I'm walking on the bare ground. Don't get this shoe. Nothing like the past ones.

Please bring back the old 928. The new model is cheap construction and the fit is off. Runs large. The "leather" wrinkles when tied. Overall construction is terrible. Cheaply made. I continue to wear my older models. Please bring the original back.

Unfortunately as some have mentioned above, the toe box is still not as wide as the original 928 and for that reason it is. Is no longer an option for me as I am already wearing a 6E width. You would think people would be smart enough at NB to realize that in the 6E widths we want as wide a sneaker as we can get. If they are going to get cute and modify the front for appearance sake than offer us a 7E or 8E width...

Just got the new version 928v3. Not happy that I can't get an all leather in white with no blue trim. This is the only shoe that I can wear. The original 926, 927 and 928 were all white and had a wide toe box. I see that others have the same request. PLEASE change the 928 back to original version.

These shoes do not have the support, control, or shock resistance of the original 928......please bring them back.....you can even feel how much lighter they are when you pick them up.....928 is the only shoe I can wear without having cramps and spasms in my legs....now I don't even have those to wear....please do something NB!!!!

I have bought the original 928 for many years. I recently ordered what I thought was the original and got the V2 and it was horrible; poor quality, made in Vietnam, narrow toe box, poor materials, cheap inserts. What has happened to New Balance. No more for me. Sad a great company sold its soul.

Why? This shoe is narrow in the tie box, no good support in the ankles and the sole us paper thin...I will not buy this shoe again, and I have bought this shoe for many years!

I wrote a review over a week ago, I guess you only post "good" reviews on your shoes. We'll see if you bother to post this one. Bring back the original, the changes you've made are awful. Never tried the V2, but the V3 is NOT up to par with what the V1 was. If you REALLY listen to your customers, go back to the best version. This one is not as wide, the tongue isn't long enough, and there's not as much ankle support. Change isn't always a good thing. Bring back the one that works. Then, I might buy your product again.

The 928 v3 is much narrower than the v1 and the depth of the shoe at the heel is shallower. The s shoe, like the v2, are a sorry replacement for the original 928. I have 4 pair of 928v1 in my closet and love them. Please bring back these original shoes. I am returning the v3.

These shoes run a little short but the width seemed about correct. The style looks like an octogenarian orthopedic shoe. They have been returned.
