Comfortable with a good fit, BUT - needs more arch support. I will definitely need to add my own inserts.

I am happy. I did not have to get white. I got a taupe or whatever you call the color. I would like to have velcro or self tying laces on the shoes. I can depend on New Balance to have a bigger toe box than most shoes.

These work great for a person who stands on their feet all day at work. Roomy and comfy.

I was trying to replace my last pair of New Balance shoes with this purchase. In the picture they were very similar. The new shoe is much lighter & the fit is roomier. I haven't been able to wear them for much more than an hour at a time (because i've been ill.) They seem to be o.k.

So sorry! My shoe is the 608. Similar shoe and colors but with strings. Whichever I get, I get two pairs. Same problem, tho.

I ware these shoes everyday Mine were all white. I put my orthopedic in them and I can ware all day.

for my wife to wear to work and going shopping.she really loves the 928's.

The shoes look great, but would still like New Balance to take this style back to ALL leather and All white. I need to wear these all the time and the blue is a little less every occasion suitable. It's hard to say about fit. I ordered my 7.5 wide with, as I've always worn in these, these are true to size, but a tad smaller. It seems like the toe box, wide-with, has less room then in the past and they seem a tad shorter too. I usually put them on and go ahh,but this time it was; hmmm? I'm not sure if it's due to me wearing the 813 New Balance ties, because of not being able to get my 928's for awhile, and just forgot the 928's feel & fit.. I got the 928's right before Christmas and haven't started wearing them daily. The x-wide is too big & wide, that they crease badly, at the toe bend, showing a improper wear & fit to the eye, as well as feel sloppy. So far, my Velcro tab closure 928's are the best, but I always like my 928 ties for days of a lot of walking. I need the rollerbar and the sole cushion the 928's provide.. I'll give these 928 tie shoes a go, but if they end up a problem with rubbing my foot sore, not sure what I'll do. Please New Balance, don't skimp, let quality slide on what is known as a quality style, brand and disappoint those of us that rely on you for helping us with our need for a proper fit and comfort.

I have bought this shoe for a while and like it very much. My last pair did not seem to have as much support as usual. I hope New Balance has not changed how the 928v3 is made. Please do not mess with a good thing.

It's true to size and width. It needs to have more padding in the heel.

So far so good. The toe box is giving my toes the extra room they need. However, it might be a couple of months before I can tell if I am wearing out the shoe from the inside as I did with the previous pair that we one size width smaller. I do wish they made a shoe with a choice of toe box width and heal width. Even using the runners tie I still feel that the heal is a little loose. On the right shoe which is on my smaller foot, I find that the tongue keeps slipping down and the tie ends up not being on the tongue but under neither it after a while. I have switched to a heavier sock but that might negate the wider toe box. Hope not!.

These are my winter everyday shoes . They offer good support for feet and legs and are warm. I am 81 years old and have bought numerous pairs thru the years. I am disappointed that the leather used has been changed...this leather is much harder and is causing chaffing on my ankles and causing discomfort. I would rather pay more for a better quality product ...I am sure that You know what I am referring to!

The shoe looks great on, but runs a tiny bit narrow.

This shoe fits beautifully and is a great walking shoe (in fall and summer weather - no traction in winter months with snow!). My one complaint is the tongue. This may seem odd to some, but the tongue has a design flaw. Where the leather and cloths section is sewn together makes it difficult (for me) to get it tied securely. Loosening the shoe lace is also frustrating. The sew area is "in the way".

I use these shoes for taking long walks in the park or thru the city. They are the only shoes that I can wear on longer walks as they provide the perfect support. I also buy the leather as my toes push thru the nylon. I wish the following: 1. You could provide the same support in the nylon type and just make allowances for toes pushing thru 2. I wish you had more colors than black, grey and white 3. I wish they were not so expensive

I have been buying this style of NB for the past 12 years because of the wide last. But I miss the original upper design (version 1)..

A lot of my friends and I wish you would make this 928 v-3 in medium grey. A lot more people like the medium grey !!!
