I had 2 back surgeries and these have been the go to shoe for my back pain. The pain goes away while I wear these. Very well made. I have worn them for a coupe yrs now. I get a new PR about twice a year.

I chose these because they were close to what I had worn before. My feet are wide and I need a big toe box. These shoes fit well and I'm glad to have them.

I love this shoes they fit all my needs. I have wide feet & I wear orthotics, so I need all the room I can get. Infact, these are the only shoes that I can wear as the width in theses come from the mid area of foot to the toes. Other shoes I have worn, the sole is all shaped like an hour glass, to narrow in the mid area. And the 928's have a roll bar in them which helps me as I do have weak ankles. The durability is good. Just wish the outer soles lasted longer, But I am heavy on my feet.

I had been using an old pair as my garden shoes since they helped stabilize my feet as I bend and reach to work my garden. My last pair of shoes was comfy, but I felt my toes were cramped and they didn't support my feet as well. So, I tried the 928's. They were great but a smidge short for my larger foot. Going up a half size did the trick. So comfy and roomy.

I am a senior who has had three surgeries and need this great support for walking. This is my second pair. I have worn New Balance for years and years. I like that they are made in the U.S.A. My local outlet however, never has this better quality shoe so I have to Order online and have shipped to me. The turn around time on orders is excellent.

The ROLLBAR feature is the best thing about these shoes. Keeps my feet stable while walking; one of the few shoes I can wear to help with Morton's neuroma. Wish there were more style choices for the ROLLBAR feature.

I recently was fitted for an ankle/ foot orthotic. The person fitting me recommended New Balance 926 as the best fit for the device. Not only does the shoe work perfectly with the orthotic, it has the best support and comfort I've found in a shoe in a ver long time!

I wear New Balance walkers exclusively, even as house shoes, and have done so for years. I wear NW for sporty as well as dress-up occasions. I welcome the all one color black 928s, and find it frustrating that NB makes 928s in brown, but only for men. The limitation of colors keeps from buying more 928s. The scarcity of availability of narrow widths keeps me from buying other styles.

I am happy with my shoes. They fit good from day one. They are kind of heavy but they serve the purpose. I'm happy to support a Maine company.

I work in a hospital lab and I prefer to wear these walking shoes while working. My feet feel great after a long day of standing and walking. Absolutely the best!

I love my New Balance 928 They give me the support I need for being on my feet a lot. And being in the healthcare field that means a lot.

These shoes are awesome. Years ago I purchased Version 1 when I could hardly walk from plantar fasciitis. Immediately my feet felt better and within a couple of weeks healed completely. So when it came back in one foot, I ordered this version 3. When I put them on, I felt the difference right away. It took several days, but my feet are healed again. I got 2 pair, beige and black. To heal, I wear them all the time. Even to get a drink of water at night. Version 3 are a little shorter than Version 1, but they still feel as great. Google and see this: "Select styles of the 928 may be eligible for Medicare reimbursement with Medicare/HCPCS code A5500". That says a lot about this shoe. Prescription level shoes. They will feel a bit big when you put them on, but that's what you want. I highly recommend you try this if your feet hurt.

These may not be the sexiest shoes but when you have to stand for 12 hours a day they are amazing. The support they give to keep you standing or walking aligned is the best. I have tried many other brands and keep coming back to these
