I have not been able to find another pair of shoes that give the support and reliability of this shoe. Had back surgery in 1993, haven't worn any other shoe daily since.

I ordered wide and I need regular. I will be ordering another pair.

Pro: Very comfortable - with feet problems, it's the only show I can wear all day. Con: I work in an environment where my shoes get wet at times, causing them to start coming apart near the heel area and sometimes on the side after a three to six months. This would be the perfect shoe, if that could be resolved somehow.

Fit well, and appear to be well made - just like all the others previously purchased. Worth the cost.

I wear this style almost every day. Great support and nice wide toe box. Much more stylish than regular sneakers.

The shoes are comfortable and I can wear them all day. They also look nice.

It was a great shoe but simply did not work for me.

Have purchased NB for years for my nursing shoes. Provide great support. Now that I am retired I practically live in them. They really help my balance as well.

This is my 2nd pair I put about 12 miles at work every day keeps my feet and back from hurting!

All leather is a plus. They're comfortable and fit properly. I'd recommend this style.

I have been wearing New Balance for years. I walk the dog multiple times a day and they are great for my legs and back. The support is super.

I was looking for a black shoe I could wear for winter and there was nothing in the 1540 style that would work. I have several foot issues and NB1540 has been my go to. I was pleasantly surprised when I put on the new shoe that it works for me. Have to have a roomy toe box and plenty of support. I did buy some beefed up orthotics to go in the shoes also because as I said I have issues. Now have a "winter" shoe all be it not the stylish pretty shoes I long to wear but haven't been able to for years.

Its comfortably , plenty of room I have wide feet always have a hard time finding shoes

I have been wearing New Balance for years. I have wide feet and they are very comfortable for this teacher who is on her feet all day!!

I have purchased this same shoe for many years. I wear these shoes around my house as I am unable to walk barefoot. As always, this shoe is somewhat stiff at first but it breaks in nicely after one to two days of wear. It's extremely comfortable and slipper like. I think this shoe runs slightly large but I cannot really give an accurate comment because I like my shoes to run large to accomodate my custom made orthotics.

These shoes need zero breaking in. Comfortable..stylish..would like it to have a little more tread to prevent slips in the wet weather.

I like the all-white leather. (Would be nice if they came in other colors other than black.) I also like that they are made in USA. I need the Roll-bar for support.

These are my "go to shoes" for my twice daily walks with the dog! Love them, especially for their comfort.
