OMG, the pain was excruciating. After about 30 minutes my heels were hurting. 2 hours afterward my big toe and pinky toe were hurting. Big toe because it was bending inwards due to the composite toe and pinking toe rubbing against the sides of the composite toe. I have wide toes and most of the women's shoes are too narrow even when I've worn the widest shoes Amazon recommended to me. I had to leave work early because of the pain. When I tried it on for the first time they were comfy but I should have tested them out while walking. I have since ordered men's shoes in 3E, so let's see how those fit (since men's feet are usually wider and their shoes are made better with a variety of widths).

These shoes are nice in comparison to other options on Zappos. Unfortunately, they didn’t meet my expectations. They are very uncomfortable especially in the toe area. The steel toe keeps rubbing against my toes when I walk. I had to return them. So hopefully I’ll have better luck next time.

It felt too small and tight. My feet hurt so bad by the middle of my shift.

Great! I had wanted to buy Timberland but the one I wanted was out of stock, so I settled for New balance safety shoes. I got 9.5 wide & it was my exact size. It's very beautiful. I like it very much. I recommend.

Love this shoe and its extra wide choice. The shoe was a little heavy, which was to be expected because of the extra wide, but the issues with my feet because of the extra wide, I no longer have sorry to see that you guys do not have this in stock anymore.

I have very wide feet so finding a composite toe shoe that does not cause pain is difficult. These extra wide shoes do not rub on either my big toe or pinky toe.

I have wide “almost” flat feet and I think these shoes in Extra Wide is exactly what I’ve been looking for. With my already wide feet and the required composite toe shoes, having this Extra Wide option with New Balance is a dream. No more big toe calluses from wearing Reebok Wide shoes option. These shoes are also light for composite toes. They’re comparable to Keen’s composite toes shoes.

The size was to small needed a bigger size

The size sent was 8 and my order should be 8.5
