These shoes are extremely heavy and cumbersome especially when being on my feet all day like we are at Amazon. I’ve never been in so much pain with a pair of shoes in my life

I am a size 6.5 and i ordered a 6.5 wide. These shoes feel clunky and heavy. They look great - the style is very nice but unfortunately my toes feel scrunched. My foot feels like I’m wearing a smaller sized shoe (like a 6). If i was to order the extra wide in my size, that may work but i will not be doing that because i honestly do not like how these shoes feel on my feet. There’s NO arch support. They’re stiff as a board. They’re not very flexible. I am on my feet for at least 4-5hrs a day on concrete and I need to be able to move fast and flex at least a lil bit w/ the variety of positions my job requires me to perform. They look thick on your feet as well. I tried on the shoes my daughter ordered from here which were the Keen utility flint 2 carbon fiber toe, and though she is a size 9w, her shoes felt fantastic. They’re also 1oz less in weight then the NB 589’s are, which believe it or not, really makes a difference. The Keen’s also flex a helluva lot more then these NB’s do, plus the Keens have excellent arch support and felt a lot better on my feet and lighter. Really noticeable diff when i tried on her Keen’s. I didn’t feel like Frankenstein. I will be returning the NB’s for the Keen flint 2. The NB 589 is a really attractive looking shoe but i need a shoe that is going to be good for my foot. I don’t really care what it looks like so long as it takes care of my feet.

I recommend your shoe size with the extra extra wide, so i wear a size 11D and i order an 11E and they where perfect. They are comfortable and the do not hurt my foot.

These shoes look bigger, they are a tad bit too big in the width. I usually wear a 9 1/2 in most shoes but got a 81/2 and they fit fine. They have great arch support, I'm thinking of replacing my insoles with The ones I bought on here. They look pretty. A little bulky but super cute. I've never had a pair of new balances before.

These shoes have no insoles. Make sure you're prepared to get some dr scholls when you buy them. Other than that, I have no complaints.

This is a great pair of shoes. The quality is much better than that of the 589v1 SKU 9991812 gray with hot pink highlights version. I've been wearing these shoes for almost two years, and they've only recently started to fall apart. I give five stars for both comfort and quality. Unfortunately, Zappos has chosen to not carry this in my size any more. If y'all could offer at least two choices in women's size 13 wide, I would greatly appreciate it.

Size and Fit are perfect - the wide toe helps with comfort. I am sad about the holes forming on the top of the shoe. I haven't dropped anything on my foot - it just is tearing on its own.

The fit is real good it’s feels good on my foot

Quality is really good. I have been wearing it daily for more than 6mons now and there is still no sign of wear and tear. My feet doesn't hurt after 8hrs of wearing them. its comfortable will buy it again.

I absolutely love them just need to order a larger size. They a perfect fit and I need room if I am going to wear socks and stand on my feet for 10 hours a day.

I'm on my feet 10 hours a day. These shoes are working well. I had to get a wider shoe and now they are perfect. No more blisters!

I’m normally a size 6 but I read the reviews and ordered a half size up 6.5. They shipped so quickly!!! They arrived a full day early, so I got them in time for my Tuesday shift. I was super surprised at how heavy and bulky they are but they’re really cute. Unfortunately the 6.5 was also too small and my toes were smashed in the front for eight hours ??? exchanging and re-ordering could not have been easier or more pleasant! Super happy and impressed with the service and quality.

Great shoes. I bought a size 8 but if felt too big. So I returned it.

Too big

I bought them based on recommendations,only wore them a few days,so far so good,definitely appreciate the extra wide toe box

I tried several composite tennis shoes for working in a warehouse and finally settled on the New Balance. I chose them mainly because they have different widths and my right foot is slightly wider than the left. When it is time to get new shoes, I will definitely stay with New Balance but I think I will go the next wider size up. I do recommend insoles if you are working in them all day. Every little bit helps!!!!!

Shoe looks great the width is great but the shoes is too short and hurts my toes.

Had to send back women 7.5 extra wide and order size 7 extra wide ,now I am happy these shoes are fine , I am a man wearing woman shoes , I have small wide feet and have a hard time finding the right size shoes

The size was perfect, I prefer to have Skechers they're more comfortable. These shoes are only comfortable if you were thick socks they tend to rub the toes. Very painful.

This shoe feels heavy, and too big. Specifically, it is too long; my heels ride up and it also feels too wide.

Fit & size was good . Feet were really hurting by end of shift .
