I use these gloves out in the winter weather handling my dogs. I sometimes put on a pair of silk under gloves then these gloves if it is really cold and damp. They keep my hands really warm and they are not bulky so I can keep them on my hands while doing almost everything.

Solid glove for city walking or mild winter hikes. I like them for city biking in Seattle over the winter. They do a great job blocking the wind, provide great dexterity, and the leather reinforcement is a nice feature.

These gloves are extremely warm but not too bulky. I like that it's phone friendly as well. It used to be a pain to take off gloves to send a text message.

SF, NYC, Good warmth. belt clip it around jean belt loop when not in use. Index finger on glove is thoughtful, but still hard to text with it. So you have to remove them anyway for texting. A retractable texting pen on index finger pressed n held by thumb is an improvement for this type of glove.
