I bought this shoe because I pronate .....and I loved the Pisces blue. After several months of wearing them for walking - I have concluded that this shoe is the root cause of some foot/ankle pain on my foot that over pronates. Bummer ! I am a loyal NB customer - have worn NB 10.5 AA for 40 years - and have never had a foot problem exacerbated by their shoes. For $150 ahhhhhh! I just purchased the 940 v3 and am feeling pretty good about those after about 30 miles of use.

I returned these shoes. I have been running in 1260's for awhile and every few years New Balance completely changes the design of this shoe. Very sad. If you wear custom orthotics (I do) there is no reasonable way this shoe will accommodate them. The heel counter was changed from deep (accommodates orthotics) to low which does definitely does not. The width is designed narrower than normal for a NB wide shoe and toe box is pointy. They may look pretty and be lightweight, but that is the extent of the positive attributes this shoe offers.

When I first put these on I knew instantly they were going to be too narrow for me. Wore them in the house for 15 minutes and they went right back into the box. I even bought a half size larger than what I normally wear. So disappointed.

The shoe is attractive, but such a disappointment from New Balance. I have worn this model for many years. No support, no cushion, the toe box is very small even in the E width. I have never worn an E width before, and the fabric was too small across the toe box. I returned the shoes immediately. Now I am wondering what shoe I can find to wear. I have read lots of reviews for numerous brands and everyone is commenting on the crowded toe box. Excellent customer service from Zappo's. The shoe might have been a dud, but Zappo's employees were super helpful and actually friendly! The return process was a breeze.

It's great, that's why I bought 2 pairs...they're not making them anymore!

The 1260 is top notch for my foot problems! In fact, I have purchased this New Balance shoe for many years & in all versions! It is a shoe that you can put on right out of the box & wear for the whole day! I love the 1260 and pray New Balance continues selling it!

This is the best shoe I have purchased in a very long time. From the first day, I was able to wear them all day with no discomfort at all. I have several foot issues and this shoe has resolved several of those foot issues.

This is my 3rd (or 4th?) pair, and they are the best. I need stability for the arthritis and tendonitis in one foot and this one works. It was originally recommended by my podiatrist. I wore my last pair all over Israel last year and I never had a foot problem.

I have been running in NB 1260 for over 30 years- this is the only shoe that is consistently perfect for me regardless of the version.

These sneakers got good reviews so I thought I would give them a try. So glad I did!! They have amazing support and I never even had to break them in. Went for a 3 mile walk the first time out and they were wonderful. I would definitely buy them again!! I always order a 1/2 size bigger than my shoe size, and they fit perfectly. New Balance has that wide toe box so I won't wear anything else.

I need the wide D width shoe and a stability shoe (for pronation) for jogging on hilly trails. This shoe fit like a glove! I deeply appreciate that there is no stitching or extra fabric/plastic crossing over the small bunion on the outer border of my foot=5th metatarsal head. It has good traction on dry or muddy trails without needing to go to a Vibram sole, but not as good on ice/snow. Miss the Leadvilles, NB, but I think this will do for awhile. I liked them well enough I just bought another pair, just in case you phase them out, too. (Please don't).

I've owned several 1260 series starting with V2 that work their way out of the exercise rotation to the comfortable knock-around grouping. This V7 was for my daughter who averages 5 - 9 miles/day 6 days/week. She is enjoying the motion control, energy response, and fit as much as I have over the years.

These are my favorite model and I buy them yearly. They are great for wide feet and instantly comfortable.
I do High Intensity Training with them and my whole body thanks me. Thank you for a great product!

Fit well. Comfortable. Wish they were completely made in the US, but glad they are assembled here. I am a causal runner/walker, exercising on a treadmill about 5-6 days/week. They suit my needs, and I like their appearance to boot!

I have been buying NB stability shoes to walk in for years. They are the best - I walk a4 miles several time a week and don't buy any other brand for walking shoes anymore.

I use these shoes for high impact aerobics, advanced step, and Zumba. I have bought them repeatedly for the past 10 years after recovering from a partial plantar fascia tear. They give good support even though I supinate.

This is my 3rd pair of the 1260v7. I have wide feet and they will get numb if I try to run in a non-wide which a lot of other shoe retailers try and put me in. I can depend on New Balance to have shoes that fit my feet and make it more comfortable to run.

Walking. Has plenty of toe room. Like color ok. Stability shoe. I have posterior tibial tendon dysfunction and that need support.

I've been running on New Balance shoes since 1973 and their quality has been and still is the best in my opinion.
I purchased these shoes as a gift for my wife and as always the purchase and shipping experience was great.

ordered these 1260 V7 to replace my worn out V6 pair. They are very comfortable and should work fine. They do however feel a little less supportive.

I love them! I have a pronounced bunion on one foot and a normal size on the other. The width up front allows for a comfortable fit when I run, walk or do high impact classes at the club.
