Runs big. Stitching rubs on big toe bone. So if you have bunions, shoes hurt this area.

The leather is too soft with the structure of the sole. I like the classic leather for these loafers

Wow. All I know is that these shoes are really beautiful. A classic loafer. I ordered two colors in 7.5W. The navy is so soft, but seemed a bit big and the cognac doesn't seem as soft and is a bit tighter. I am torn and would like both pairs, but will only most likely keep the navy if the 7's fit better. The wide is very comfortable and I have hard to fit feet. Love the stitching. They have such a quality look and feel. Good support too. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get to keep at least one pair of these. May even think about the white or yellow for summer,

Too tight and narrow even though this is supposed to be wide.

Love the look of the shoes but they were too narrow. I’m very disappointed but back they go. Wides are not available.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I wore them all the time when I was growing up -- and remember them so fondly. But however they have redesigned them, they just don't work. I've tried 3 different sizes now and none fit. They are narrow at the toe and somehow between 7.5 (way too small) and 8 (way too big!) very different. I just couldn't find a size combo (with W and M) that worked for me. Also there is no support and the sole is much thinner than it once was. So sad ...

I should have listened to the other reviewers. These shoes are so narrow I couldn’t even get my foot into them. I am a size 10 in 99% of shoes, but these felt like a double narrow shoe that was a size too small. Beautiful shoe, but not for me.

I love these shoes -- always have -- but I'm struggling to find a pair that fit well. I read the reviews and tried a wide in my size. Too big. Then I tried a half size down, and regular width -- too small. I'll try one more time for a half size down and wide. Fingers crossed.

Love these. Quality materials and made. Look beautiful and are comfortable.

I went with the WIDE due to reviews but it was actually too long and the heel came up the first time I put them on.

I ended up going one full size down with these loafers. I tried my size, half a size down, and then a full size down. I have had many pairs of Weejuns and know these will last a long time and look great.

Oddly, I have these same shoes in pink, and the fit perfect. I got these and they were a full size too big. I love the way they look, but the quality is making me question spending this money on loafers.

These shoes are comfortable and stylish. I purchased the copper color and love them. They look nice with jeans and with dress pants. I wear between an 8-9 depending on the brand and style of shoe. The 9 fits perfect. They are a keeper.

I LOVE my new Bass Whitney Weejun loafers!! I’m a 6.5 wide, they fit perfectly and I am delighted with them. Of course, they are a little stiff at first but I’ve had these before, years ago, and I know they will break in nicely. Thank you ZAPPOS!

I love these loafers but will be returning and sizing down half a size. I know they will stretch and are already too loose on my foot.

These shoes are just what I was looking for..... professional and comfortable. Also, very versatile as they can be worn with a pair of jeans or dress pants or skirt. Highly recommend.

These shows are a classic and have been around forever! Dress them up...dress them down! They ARE sharp! HOWEVER..narrow is a pretty big issue. I wear a wide and purchased a wide. They were FAR from easy to slide on. I figured they were new and a stiff (versus soft) leather..nothing that couldn’t be stretched by wearing, right? Yes and no. They will always be difficult to put on (truth if you are a wide). Even 2 years later they will be. The leather is stiff. Once you have them on for a bit, your foot adjusts, but there are times I can feel one of my little toes being cramped and pinched in there. They are neither comfortable or uncomfortable. After awhile on your feet, though, you are going to want out of them. And when they are BRAND NEW, scuff the bottoms up well on pavement or you’ll be sitting on the ground in no time. Do I wear them?? Yes. But only for short ventures out. Would I buy them again?? No (but only for how narrow they are).

The right shoe had tiny black dots on top of the shoe. Sent back.

I love these loafers. They are sleek rather than chunky and the quality of the leather and craftsmanship is great. I unfortunate thing is my dog loved them almost as much as I did. Needless to say I have ordered a second pair that never get left on a floor by the door. Great shoes, fit is amazing. Might be slightly narrow for some but they break in great and get more comfortable over time. I expect I will have these for years to come

These are SO pretty and I am in LOVE!! I ordered the Gold Metallic Leather in my usual size 8 shoe size. They arrived about an hour ago and I haven't taken them off since! The leather is buttery soft, there is a nice arch support, the insole is soft leather with cushioning underneath. The sole is leather and therefore slippery, but the heel has a very grippy rubber pad on the bottom. I love them so much I am considering ordering a second pair in another color. The sizing feels perhaps 1/2 size larger, but I'm going to stick with the 8 because I feel that a 7.5 might be too tight. Very comfy and I can see myself wearing these all the time.

I so wanted to love these shoes. They fit like a glove and I'm a big fan of velvet and patent leather. But upon further inspection of the outside surface of the shoe I noticed what appear to be marks on the velvet (where velvet is actually missing). So I will have to return the shoe. This is not the first pair of Bass shoes where I've encountered this type of problem. I don't blame Zappos. I think Bass needs to do a better job of quality control.

i am so sorry i had to return this beautiful shoe. color is gorgeous. too tught on my left foot (bunion), perfect on right foot (no bunion). If u love color and style...Teal and Weejuns are classic. :(
