This is my first pair of Dansko shoes. The arch support in other Dansko shoe styles have been too firm and stiff for my feet. I was elated that this style felt comfortable when I tried them on, so I thought this shoe would work for me. After wearing them for a couple of hours, however, I felt an ache from the hard/firm arch support. That limits the shoes' utility for me. Nevertheless, I am keeping the shoes because the style and height suit me. I just won't be able to wear them all day.

I think these are not quite cute enough and not comfortable enough either. Back they go!

These shoes are very comfortable, although not the most beautiful.

So disappointing that I will have to send these back on account of being too narrow in the toe. They are marked the same as the last similar pair of Danskos that I bought, but definitely skimpier in the fit.

I bought this looking for a navy flat-ish shoe to wear with skirts or pants. These were very comfortable, but I just couldn’t get over the style... so orthopedic looking! I’m not old enough for these yet.

I have 4 pairs of Dansko. I know what I'm getting into when I buy a pair - for example, I'm not looking for high-end fashionista footwear. These basic, black Mary Jane's however were the frumpiest pair I've ever put on my feet. Ye have been warned! Also, the leather of the toe area was surprisingly shallow, and kept scraping the top of my foot as I walked around my bedroom. The strap is a velcro closure - kinda cool - kinda short-term solution. Returning.

Dansko fooled me once on this lie of a size 13, but it won't happen again. The thing that irks me is these cute shoes still come up in a search for a size 13! A women's 13 is going to be a Euro 45 or 46, not a 43, which will fit more like an 11 1/2 or so. It's not very nice, in my opinion, to run around saying a shoe is a 12 1/2-13 when everyone knows that shoe will never fit those of us in that real size. Not.Very.Nice.At.All. Get your sizes right, Dansko, and stop the teasing! The only shoe you actually make for a Women's 13 is in your men's line. Or, or, maybe even actually make a real 13, and I will gladly buy dozens.

Strap is secured by velcro but doesn't look it; nice touch. Wrap style toe box is cute, but the cut of the shoe presses directly on my left foot bunion. Returning.

Didn't come in Wide which I needed so had to return. Liked everything else about it.

I just learned I have Hallux Rigidis on left foot and need to buy all new shoes. I am looking for a shoe that has a wide toe box and thought these would work but the shoe is not wide enough for my right foot. The left shoe was a good fit though. I had to return them and I'm trying others that state they are available in wide width. If you need a wide width this shoe isn't a good choice.

I was really hoping these would be a keeper but sadly they felt too narrow in the toe box and I will be returning them.

LOVE the Fawna model. Have two pairs in black and wear them all the time. The gray one was not as good (it didn't seem to fit quite the same as the black ones) and the color was off. I don't know if an off case, and the gray color looked sprayed on and was uneven, so the toes were still blackish, just looked dusty with the gray color being thinner on top. Still a fan of the style, the velcro strap is much easier to use than the tiny buckles on some of the other mary jane style dansko options.

These shoes started out great, I had a pair that I wore for a year, and they held up beautifully. My second pair, the velcro fastener started loosening early on but I thought I just wasn't tightening the shoes tight enough..... wasn't the case the issue was in the velcro, they reached apoint where the velcro would'nt hold at all. The shoes themselves also stretched to the point, where my feet are just sliding around in them. This was not the case with my first pair, so I don't know why this second pair had so many issues.

Size was fine. However I was concerned with the toe of the shoe potentially digging into the top my foot. I show dogs and was hoping these would work for me, but I don't think so and returned them.

I ordered my regular size and it was way too big overall. I then ordered one size smaller. It fit better but there was still a large gap from my heel to the back of the shoe. I returned both pairs. Dansko is apparently not a good fit for me.

I ordered size 39 but received 38 instead so the shoes do not fit. Not so much in length but they are somewhat too shallow. Also, the base of the sole is not wide. My feet are a little bit wider but not much and I have high arches. Disappointed- have to return them.

The fit was tight in the heel. But the main problem was a quality issue. The first pair had a deep scrape on the left shoe. I returned them and the second pair also had two damage spots on the left shoe. These are not normal leather variations, they are damages. So, I was hopeful about these shoes but I am going to return both pair.

The back heels of my feet hurt after wearing it for a few months. You think it will get better but Dansko brand is not good for my feet… it pains my feet

Just don’t like the foot bed as much as the others. I gave them a try but they are going to sit in my closet until I give them away. I

blisters on the middle toe, work in a restaurant, very comfortable otherwise…

These shoes are very comfortable (right out of the box), and have the perfect styling for work. I have a sit/stand desk, and these give me the support I've been looking for! However, they are already quite scuffed on the toe (from normal, non-strenuous general office work!?), and the fabric on the inside of the upper already has a worn-out hole from where the top of my big toe touches - after only two months of daily wear. I'm not super impressed with the quality of the uppers, but for the comfort (and the high price!) I'll stick it out and try to make a year before I have to buy a new pair.

I can find shoes to fit me but I can't seem to find any that fit my wife. She normally wears a size 7 wide. First ordered a wide in 37 and 38 since they don't come in half sizes. Both were much too large. Ordered a 36 and it was too small and too narrow. She needs something in between but I can't find half sizes so I don't know what to do. She has mild mental confusion so I order for her. She really like the styles and wanted them. So far the only shoes that we can find to fit her are sloggers, but she really wants some dressier shoes and would like leather. Guess I need to talk to Zappos customer service for some help. Thanks Zappos for your return policy.

Was too big

I wear a size 13W. These shoes seemed smaller than usual; both my big toe and fourth toe were touching the tip of the shoe. There is no way I would be able to walk any distance with toes touching and scrunched as much as they were. The style was cute, but unfortunately they will be returned.

The Velcro stop working one year after I purchased them. Of course , I had to stop wearing them . Not sure there is a solution .
