Comfortable, supportive, flexible, professional, practical, feminine, and playful. These are the kind of shoes you spend a lifetime looking for. Will make your inner girl, grown-up lady, and podiatrist happy. I put them on with my gym clothes and immediately felt like Amelie. I’m hard-pressed to find anything in my closet that they don’t complement.

They are beautiful and almost fit well, but I did also order the next smaller size and they were a bit too snug, especially with a thin sock. I will keep the lovely but slightly loose pair. However, the difference in color between the two sizes was really striking. The larger pair is a burnished red, and will go with any red skirt or pants. The smaller was definitely wine color - could even call it maroon, and would look terrible next to a red outfit. So beware of the variations here. There is a note from Dansko in each shoe box saying that the leather will have blemishes and shading. Okay, but this is a whole other color!

Wow! Another awesome new pair of dressy but super comfy shoes from Dansko. I wear 7.5W in many shoes due to a bunion on my right foot and the 38 are spot-on! I also have very high arches but there is plenty of room in toe box so it does not cut across the top of my foot. The mary jane strap lets you get a perfect fit. Note: these fit like a regular shoe, they hug your feet. They do NOT fit like a loose clog whereby your heel comes out easily. No break-in required for me. Awesome, gorgeous, fashion forward wedge/mary jane. Cute with trousers, skinny jeans or whatever. So nice to get the comfort of a Dansko but in a more fashionable style.

Wow. With my plantar fasciitis, I had nearly given up on stylish comfy shoes, but these fit the bill. Great to walk in with no break-in. Tempted to buy another color. Thanks Zappos for letting me try 5 different types of shoes to get it right.

I had to try these... what could be better, a Comfort Wedge Maryjane! They have a retro look, the soft grey leather is a bit blue grey, and the metallic is subtitle. Size is a bit smaller than the usual Dansko oversized fit. Will be great with pants or skirts. Not dressy, but could do for most events. Nice cushy sole, low heel, but wedge gives a girl a tiny boost. A keeper, perfect between sandals and boots, this will out-and-about this Fall!

BEAUTIFUL and COMFORTABLE shoe! Enough height to make it appear as a heel, but doesn't feel like a heel! Dress up, dress down, just a good go to shoe!

These shoes are nothing short of fabulous! They not only look great with anything, they feel fantastic on my feet!

I love this shoe! Professionally I transition from long periods on my feet to meetings with the bigwigs. These shoes allow me to be comfortable in both settings. The slight wedges modernizes the Mary Jane (in my opinion). Plus they look awesome with my skinny jeans and trousers. As a long time lover of the Dansko clogs (the feel not the style) these shoes are a welcomed addition in my closet.

I have to have good support in my shoes as I have chronic plantar fasciitis. It rules my life! I just got these today. I was desperate for a pair of shoes that looked decent with a dress - my high heel days are over! I have worn these around my house all day long and I cannot be happier. I told my husband they are as good as any orthotics I have ever had. I love my danskos! I wear two brands Dansko and Birkenstock - the only shoe brand that has what I need!

Fantastic! As so many have said, this shoe is Uber comfy and classic. They look rather boring off the foot - but once you put them on they make your feet look sexy. I am an 8 in everything. Ordered the 39 and it's a perfect fit. My second and third toes are long - almost longer than my big toe so I can't wear a lot of pointed-toe shoes. Danko always comes thru with the perfect rounded toe w/o looking too matronly. (Not that matronly is bad - I just refuse to grow up) I wear these in NY for meetings, around town running errands with jeans and with my dresses to church. I own a few styles of Dansko - these are by far the most comfortable. I would love to own every single color and never shoe shop again. Way to go Dansko!

These are amazing shoes that would easily dress up or down. I recently decided to swear off traditional heels due to joint pain. Usually a loyal Born or Clark’s customer, I’ve been searching high and low for a *stylish* comfort shoe to wear with suits or skirts and in a color that would go with anything. The gray metallic fits the bill perfectly. The wedge heel gives the right amount of height without even feeling like you are in heels - this feels closer to a clog without being at all bulky or frumpy. These are absolutely worth the investment. I think I’m a Dansko convert!

These shoes are so cute and comfortable! I love my new shoes, even after standing and walking around in them for 12 hours straight??

I LOVE these shoes! I am a flight attendant and was OVER carrying 2 pairs of shoes for work (concourse and aircraft); I don't have to change my shoes anymore! The hidden wedge is stylish for my skirts and the solid sole works great for weight distribution while I work. There isn't any pressure on the balls nor heels of my feet. YES! I may order a second pair for when these wear out. I don't know how they look with slacks yet.

Love these shoes bought them in two colors. Small heel and super comfortable. Very well made. Would highly recommend them. I have slightly wide feet but these fit great.

Got these for work, wore them the first day for 6 hours straight (all day on my feet) and they did not hurt one bit; amazing shoe

I bought these shoes in 2 colors, not knowing which I'd like more, and ended up keeping both, I like them so much. I've been wearing them barefoot (no stockings) and the one issue I had at first was the edge of the strap rubbing the inside of my ankle, but when I loosened the strap, that stopped happening. I own a lot of Danskos, and these are true to size, with good arch support. The silvery blue is more sophisticated and summery than the red, which looks more heavy/leathery but has also gotten lots of compliments. I walk a lot, everywhere, and have found these to be great walking shoes.

Love the style and color (grey). Perfect for work. Unfortunately my right foot is larger than my left, which pinches my toes and produces blisters. May exchange for a larger size to see if that helps.

Cute shoe, very comfortable. Need to order a size down as it seems a little large. I needed a shoe for work so it needs to be a little dressy, but I need the shoe to be comfortable and this one works. I will take comfort over fashion every day.

Wow! These are beautiful shoes! Nice bright red, the leather is beautiful. The foot bed and inside are soft and made with really nice leather. I'm definitely buying the slip on version of these.

These shoes were comfortable and super cute. I am only returning them because of my own personal problem. I have some low back pain and I was hoping I'd be able to do a low wedge for an upcoming party but the pain was still there. If it weren't for that, I would have kept and loved these shoes!

Sizing was off. I have been wearing Danskos for almost 20 years and have probably owned 9 or 10 pairs. I loved the style, but my normal size (38) didn't fit in the toe area. I tried going up to 39 and it was just too big. I ended up going with the Josie (which I love - comfort right away & a lot of complements).

This shoe was mistakenly placed on the return list it will not be coming back it is the other black shoe the sandle that will bu return sorry for the misunderstanding.
