I bought these for a vacation. They felt great as soon as I put them on. No breaking in. Leather is soft and foot bed is comfortable. I couldn't believe I paid this much for a pair of sandals but I don't regret it. I wish they came in white.

Hey SAS! I love this style. The strap design is clever allowing the toes maximum freedom. Also the footbed is broad in the toe area and has some arch support. My plantar fasciitis causes me to need arch support and cushioning, and my misaligned little toes are the result of tapered toe shoes and dress sandals which are nearly impossible to avoid. I have noticed that all of your sandal styles made with this footbed simply do not come in narrow! Why!? Narrow footed women have the same needs as everyone else. We also need foot shaped footwear that is broad in the toebox area but narrower overall---and with arch support and cushioning. I differ a bit with your blog. Some people may be genetically more predisposed to getting bunions and bunionettes when their feet are put into tapered toe footwear, but it is the footwear that is doing the damage. You have several styles now with this footbed. Please consider making them in narrows. The footbed is the right shape and has arch support and cushioning. Good for you for designing it! Only a few companies have begun to design sandals shaped like this and none of them offer their stuff in narrows.

The only problem I have with this shoe... is that I can't wear it in winter. I have always had problems with shoes until I met this one. It even beats other SAS sandals that I have.

FANTASTIC! immediately comfortable to wear all day. no breaking in required. The foot bed is soft and dreamy on naked toes. Wider than most sandel's without looking clunky. So glad they come in large sizes as my feet have gone from 10 to 11.5 even 12 over the years. These were a perfect fit. Seem to be very nicely made. i hop e they last and wear well over time!
Ended up buying them in 2 colors as I will wear them for work, travel and all around town. Already considering more color options.

This shoe is well made and feels like a quality shoe. It looks great on foot. Had to send it back unfortunately because I think it is just a little shorter than I want, so will try the next size up. I have short toes and the criss cross over the toe is back just a little too far, leaving space at the toes and making my heel slightly hang over the back. If you have longer toes, it will be fantastic, but might want to consider ordering up. It is pricey but the quality is worth it. I think you could walk in this all day long and it will last a long time. SAS is really improving their shoe styles. I have always felt I was sacrificing style for comfort but now they are adding many styles that are really cute and don't look like nuns wear them. Love nuns, they just wear a certain type of very conservative comfortable service type shoe.

Very nice alternative to Birkenstock with minimal straps and good comfort for wide feet. I’m usually a 7.5 because my foot is wide but the 7 W was quite nice for my wide foot with high arches. Ample room for toes, feel great on.

These are so comfortable that I forget that i have shoes on. They also show off my toes when I get a pedicure.Never hurt my feet since the moment I put them on. I can not wear thongs as they hurt me between the toes but I can wear these with no problems. I now have two pairs one slip on and one with the strap on the back. Great shoes for the spring and summer.

Ladies, these shoes are much cuter in person and comfy too!! I bought this pair to wear around the house like "slippers". I have a foot injury and standard slippers just don't give me enough support. These fit the bill perfectly!! I own the same shoe with a heel strap - three pairs to be exact (the Pampa style from SAS) these fit exactly like the those do. These shoes are well made and will last for years. You will not be disappointed!

I am really glad I bought these sandals - they have been worth worth every penny. The leather is super soft, and I like that the strap across the top of the foot can be adjusted. The leather between the toes isn't bulky and thus is very comfortable. I find them more attractive than Birkenstocks but still highly supportive and practical. I wore them all day everyday right out of the box. I think overall they run close to true to size, but I ended up exchanging them for a half size smaller there was too much space between the end of my toes and the front edge of the shoe (because my toes aren't super long). Love that they are made in America!

Although I am not usually a big fan of the "fashion design" of SAS shoes, I think these are on trend with summer styles in other popular brands. I have friends that only wear this brand when they travel abroad because they are so comfortable. So....I gave them a try to wear to my retail job. I have received compliments AND my feet were happy at the end of my shift.

Wonderful sandals! I've reached the age of needing comfortable shoes but won't give up on wearing pretty shoes. These shoes are both - comfortable and attractive. As other reviewers have commented, these sandals felt great the moment I slipped them on. I did my test walk, waiting to feel a pinch or a rub, but instead they felt heavenly. I did my non-skid test to make sure they wouldn't be slippery on smooth surfaces. They passed again. I bought the color Weave Clementine, which is a pretty and fun reddish orange. I've tried and returned a lot of shoes to Zappos. I'm keeping these.

These are my first pair of SAS. Like them a lot. Much more comfortable than the Birks and Mephisto that are similar in style. Leather is soft and while the footbed is a little wider it’s still easy to walk in them and keep them on. I got the orange and they are softer in color and very neutral.

I am very satisfied with this shoe, it's comfortable right out of the box! Yes, they are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for... nice, soft leather and two metal buckles, no hook and loop. I have a pair that is similar from Birkenstock, but this one is a bit more dressier, there is a slight lift from the back with is good if you have high arches like myself. The sole is firm, yet gives with each step. The arch support is moderate as is the heel cup, if you are a Birkenstock fan like I am, you might like these. I had to jump ship from Birkenstock since they are making most of their sandals with the soft foot bed and that won't accommodate my wide feet anymore.
These sandals run large, I'm usually a 10-10.5 and I downsized to a 9.5 wide, so glad SAS makes wide and they are American made, nice!

These are great! I think my sandal search is ALMOST over. I have a wide foot with high instep and usually buy 11's in a shoe to accommodate a wide foot. These are very comfortable and stylish AND they come with metal buckles which is rare I'm finding, even for quality shoes (everything is hook and loop), ugh! Buckles are at the top and bottom for the perfect fit.
These sandals run big, I think a full size, I ordered a 10.5 wide and will exchange for a 9.5 and 10 to see which is best. The support is decent, but not ultra like a Birkenstock, but seems comfortable enough.
