So delectably cushy on first try, but not great for actual walking. The toe strap is coarse and rubs uncomfortably on my big toe-- which would be bearable if it actually held my foot in place, but it doesn't. I fiddled with the straps a bunch, but just couldn't find any adjustment that was comfortable and secure while I was walking. As for the size, I am usually either an 8.5 or a 9, so I ordered the 8.5 because most of the reviews said that when they ordered up it was too big, but the 8.5 was definitely almost too small. My foot was like, right on the back edge, and whenever I took a step, my foot would slip back a little and be actually off the back edge. So disappointing, because the footbed is so nice and squishy that I really wanted to like these!

Overall these sandals have good arch support, very soft leather, smooth foot-bed and light, except after wearing them less then 20 minutes, the ball of my feet starting to hurt, after about 30 minutes leisure walking my lower back also starting to ache. Have to return them.

These felt comfortable. The foot beds felt well-cushioned. However, the toe of the shoe was too long. My heel came to the end of the shoe, so I don't believe a smaller size would have addressed the issue. I don't think I have short toes, to my knowledge. From the front, the sandals looked too large.

These are super cute and comfy, but they are definitely small. I wear a 7.5M and got and 8, but the backs of my heels are almost hanging off. I am trying to decide if a 9 would be too big.

Looks great but footbed is hard with little to no arch support.

The shoes have a comfortable footbed and look nice. But the side buckle cuts through my pinky toe so I can't walk with it for more than 10 minutes. I hoped to wear these on my holiday and bought a pair of 20$ plastic flip flops there and they were more comfortable to walk with during the rest of my trip. Very dissatisfied and definitely not worth it.

I had problems with the toe strap. It hit on my bunion and was painful. I usually wear a 8-1/2 and it was small. Shoe is cute wished it would have worked out for me.

Ill fitting, overpriced for the quality. Footbed too short in the heal and too long in the toes. Funky shaped support. Too bad too late to return..

This sandal is awful. Way too long at the toe area. Looks like flippers. Totally regret this purchase and cannot return b/c I wore them.

Really uncomfortable

As others have described, when walking my feet slide back until I am walking on the back lip. Well over an inch and a half of footbed extends beyond the toes. I have to stop constantly and wiggle my feet forward. They are never comfortable. I feel that another size up would be much too large. It looks funny with so much room in front of the toes. Reminds me of the flipper-like sandals mom got for us kids to “grow into”. I never spend this much on shoes so it is an extra disappointment to toss them so soon.

I was so looking forward to this SAS sandal but was disappointed in the fit. I wear size 8M but I purchased Zappos recommended size 8.5. Both feet were too short in length. I may go back to revisit this sandal in size 9 but not at this time.

Ordered a 12 and was sent a 10 ,then tried to reorder the correct size but it was out of stock. They are probably nice if in the size ordered.

I am very disappointed with Zappos. This shoe arrived in a SAS box but there was no original packing material just a piece of tissue that looked like a kleenex. They fit but when I looked at the leather straps where you could adjust the fit the leather looks worn and used. The bottom of the shoes are fine which suggests to me whoever had these before me wore them around the house or somewhere where they didn't scuff the bottom. I am not going to pay $171.00 for USED shoes. Off they go back to zappos.
