I have plantar fasciitis and absolutely adore these shoes! I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt. They are also so versatile. I wear them to work, with dresses, with jeans, with leggings, and skirts and always feel confident, fashionable and comfy! I highly recommend these. These are one of my favorite vionics!

I purchased these Vionic boots after extensively researching orthotic shoes. I'm moving on my feet for 8+ hours per day in a retail job and need a cute but comfortable boot. I gave these boots a chance for less than a week, hoping to break them in, but they killed my feet after the first five hours. I could definitely tell that they have arch support, but the sole of the shoe is so hard that my knees, shins and ankles all ached afterwards. The top of the boot rubs my ankle and I have huge blisters there now. I was better off wearing non-orthotic shoes than these! They are definitely a beautiful boot, but I would not recommend them for extensive wear or walking.

Such a stylish boot! It does run big. I'm exchanging it for a half size smaller. Other than that - the boot is very attractive and supportive. Seems comfortable too. The color is darker than pictured; it's somewhere between a light, smokey grey and beige, as the name suggests. The color is elegant and the suede is nice quality. Attractive stacked heel. Stitching between the sole and the upper makes this boot a little sporty, rather than a dress boot. Can't wait for the smaller size to arrive!!

Pairs excellent with jeans cuffed up . It’s a taupe color but kinda looks grey in certain lighting . Matches everything . After 3 wears they are broken in .

Cute bootie. Velvety rich-looking suede. Note that the zipper is on the outside (not the usual interior side of the foot). Made in China. Sadly, too hard to get into with my high instep.

I am ABSOLUTELY obsessed with these boots. I ordered them in black as well (so I own bother tan and black), and I love them so much I am going to order another pair of these. The only caveat--the heel has already worn off, but I am taking it to a shoe guy to repair them.

This boot is great for me. I've got a challenging foot to fit. I have a fallen arch, weak ankles, high instep and a wide foot. I also suffer from metatarsal nerve pain. These shoes make is possible for me to walk around all day without much if any problem. I do add a metatarsal pad, and then I am good to go. Not true with every shoe I try. They are cute and hold up. I've had them for a full winter season now, and they will clearly last a few more years. And they have helped me considerably. I am huge fan of Vionics. Most of the company's shoes are stylish and also work with my foot conditions. I recommend giving them a try for healthy happy feet that want to be stylish too.

The first pair of boots I received were defective - one was considerably wider and longer, the back seam wasn’t centered and it just didn’t feel “right” on my foot. I was able to get a replacement, thankfully, and these are the absolute definition of PERFECTION! I am a true 9 1/2 with a foot slightly on the wider side and the 9 1/2 wide is exactly what I needed. They are amazingly comfortable, the arch support is phenomenal and they are incredibly cute! I’m a picky, picky person when it comes to shoes but I have zero complaints about these. Very pleased!! P.S. While I love the actual color of the shoe, it is very different from the picture Zappos has. I’m including a picture of the “greige” color in real life for reference. :)

I LOVEEEEE these booties!!! I am a fan of Vionic and have had amazing experiences with all the pairs I own thus far, including these! I normally wear a 9M but sometimes have to size up a half size especially in boots. I have had plantar fasciitis in my right foot and both my toe joints are whacked. As a result my right foot is slightly larger than the left, and sometimes shoes that fit my left foot are too tight and painful across the top of my right foot. I got a 9.5M and they fit perfectly! Great arch support and SUOER CUTE!!! These are my new faves and can’t wait to wear them! Also as ALWAYS Zappos service is second to none and the BEST on the planet! I ordered these yesterday around 2pm and received them on my doorstep within 24 hours! Impressive! Highly recommend these shoes and Zappos!

Super good looking! Fit good on my size 8, med width feet. They are comfortable, however not for walking all day, half a day maybe. Get ready for compliments!

I was looking for a pair of booties that would look super fashionable and also take care of my sensitive feet on a busy day at work. (I often walk 4-5 miles on pavement during my work day.) These sure fit the bill! They are super fashionable and well made, and they are SO COMFORTABLE without feeling like "comfort shoes" (they don't have outrageous arch support, just enough to let you walk in total comfort all day). The one thing is, they run huge. Huge! I am normally between a 5.5 and a 6 in shoes; this doesen't come in a 5.5 (a 5 seems too small), so I got the 6. They are really big, but not so big I can't walk in them. So I'm just going to add a layer of insole and see how they do. So happy I got them, worth every penny.

I had to return for 1/2 size down. Great bootie! I stood all night in it and no pain, no rubs! I will be buying in more colors.

I don't always write reviews, but honestly this is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. As soon as I put it on it felt amazing, and after a full 9 hour day on my feet working retail, my feet were still comfortable (like, as comfortable after they can be after that). I also really appreciate the water resistant coating on these boots, as the first day I wore them it rained a bit. I knew it was going to, but because these were pre-treated, I knew I would still be able to wear them and they would not get ruined. Note that the shaft on these boots is shorter than your average ankle bootie. Finding the right sock was a bit challenging, but I ended up just pushing my sock down a bit and it was fine.

With a history of plantar fascitis, I always buy Vionics. I love this boot but the 7.5 W, which is always spot on, fit just barely and that is without a sock. Sadly, they were out of 8W, so I had to opt for the Sterling in Sable. I really wish these had fit, because I love the greige suede! I guess everybody else did too and that's why they aren't available.

I own several pairs of Vionic shoes & I bought this shoe in the griege color about a year ago. Great looking boot - comfort is marginal as I feel like my foot slides down & crowds my toes into the toe box. I purchased some cushion supports for the ball of the foot to put in the Serena which seems to help with slippage & support. This year I wanted a black pair of boots so I tried the Jolene style in Vionic - it looked like virtually the same boot but not suede. Comfort & fit of the Jolene was completely different - not good at all for me - no comparison to the Serena. So, I sent the Jolene back & ordered the Serena again, in black, same size. I feel the same about the black Serena fit/comfort wise as I do with my griege pair. I purchased another foot cushion for the ball of my foot to ease slippage on this style as well. I have narrow feet & the toe box is not terrible generous. Arch support is marginal & I fight plantar fasciitis so I wear these with my custom orthotics to have the best fit and comfort outcome. Overall I love the style & quality of the Serena and am happy with the purchase.

Really comfy. Wore them a full day the first day (but had a backup in case they weren't so cozy-but luckily didn't need the backups!). Wish I would have gone down a half size. They are a bit big, but that's probably my fault. I have other vionics but can't see the size stamp on them, so I kind of "guessed" on the size. Even though they are a bit big, they are still very comfortable and I'll probably be glad for it come wintertime when I want to wear thick socks.

Great shoe but the color is way off! Looks nothing like the light beige / natural suede in the Zappos picture. See for yourself...

Really comfortable. I am a 9W and they are almost a little bit too wide. But keeping them since it allows me to wear regular socks and not have to go in search of thinner socks for shoes. The only wish is that it would have a softer rubber heal. I’m always afraid of slipping.

These boots are very stiff! They seem a tad long, and a tad narrow. Rather than the boot accommodate my foot, it was so stiff that my foot slipped all the way forward, which made them uncomfortable. Not terrible, but also no better than cheap generic boots I can buy at Target. Definitely don't "hug" or cushion your foot. Also, the color is way darker than pictured. It's like a very dark gray mud color...not chic or trendy...kind of western-looking. Overall, I was super disappointed and am returning these.

Love this ankle boot, very stylish and true to size. I wear an 8.5 W. Only pair of shoes I am wearing right now that alleviates plantar fasciitis pain. I bought the Vionic Minna flat and had to return because of pain but highly recommend this boot!

Similar to other reviewers, the boot rubbed on my outside ankle bone. Very cute shoe, I wanted them to work.

These run large, so if you wear a half size, order down. The color is mouse gray, although the photo looks beige. I wear a heel lift in one shoe and have very high arches. The addition of my own orthodics made these shoes work better for me.

Own two other Vionic styles and love them however this misses the mark as far as comfort. Purchased a 6 and 6 wide and neither worked. Both slipped at heel and sizing down would not have solved because felt okay in toe area. Insole/arch support hit my foot completely wrong - almost like I was wearing on the wrong feet. Lastly, they are lower than they appear even a little footie athletic sock peeks out the top. Back they go.
