I own several pair of Hoka running shoes. I love them. The fraying of the material concerns me after having them only 3 or 4 weeks. The area of concern is the tongue that goes between the big toe and the next one.

Was not expecting the forward rocking of the shoe which is very awkward. They fit good but not a comfortable walking around shoe.

I love hoka’s. Just sending back for smaller size.
I called for a usps return, because we have no ups store in our town and Zappos associate was AWESOME!! Will always buy Zappos!!!

As a loyal Hoka running shoe consumer I really wanted to love these. I own or have owned over ten pairs and have run many miles and love my Hokas. That said I have had a pair of Oofos sandals and slides for quite some time and have put many miles on them. I was excited to see that Hoka had there own version of a recovery sandal. At first trying on the Hoka Ora it seemed a little firmer than the Oofos but was really comfortable. That was until I started walking in it. It was immediately uncomfortable between the toes. I thought it just needed breaking in. I wore them to the beach that weekend and came back with blisters between my toes! Never had that problem with Oofos. Maybe because the thong on the Ora is made with a cloth material and the Oofos is soft rubber. One thing I did think was better than the Oofos was the traction. If you get on a wet surface in the Oofos you have to be careful or you might slip which I have many times. So I was looking forward to these having better traction but my toes can't tolerate the thong part. With a little tweaking Hoka could make these awesome. For now I am disappointed.

I love the feel of these sandals...soft, comfortable, exactly what I would expect from Hoka. But the toe strap in between the toes is one of the most uncomfortable I've ever felt. I'm hoping my feet get used to that and it won't be a big issue over the long term, but it is not comfortable right now. Weird...it's like no one ever tested whether the toe straps were ok or not. Why build such a comfortable sandal and not make absolutely sure something as simple as the toe strap is good?

Liked the sandal. I’m just real disappointed in the length. I have been size 9 my entire adult life. I wish I had a size 8. Bought three different brands that day all size 9 . The other two brands size 9 fit perfect !!!

Terrible design flaw. I was so ready to love these but the straps have almost sharp edges and the toe post is stiff and uncomfortable. Love my other Hokas but these were a total disappointment.

I love Hoka and have several pairs of shoes and recently ventured into the sandals line. They're so incredibly close. The straps on the flip flops just don't fit well and made me feel like they could slip off. My shins hurt after wearing them from my feet having to constantly adjust to keep the flip flops on. I thought I had the wrong size but after a second attempt, I had the same experience. Non-flip flop sliders are great. I have those and wear them around the house.

Wanted to love it. The arch support was too rigid and hard.

I would not recommend this flip-flop for those of us with a wide foot.

Bought the Ora Recovery Flip (first generation) in January. Used them mainly to walk the dog around the neighborhood. Where the strap plugs into the base came unglued today and now are unwearable. I would expect more than a three month lifespan for even the cheapest of sandals.

Sandals do a good job of supporting your feet, but unforunately the pain you avoid is quickly replaced between your big toe and index toe.
Not sure who decided to use a thick rough cord in between these two toes, but it was a fateful design flaw.
I wore them now and are stuck with them. I gain some relief by coating my toes with Body Glide, but really Hoka??

I have bad luck finding flip flops as the side or toe part always is pressing wrong or just feels funny. No issues here and actually a pair can use without discomfort or rubbing. God cushion and arch support on top of it. A bit pricey but so far worth the purchase.

Great recovery flips. Yes, it's a bit too wide to my feet (I have very narrow feet). Extremely comfortable and very soft!

I saw these shoes recommended for those recovering from bunion surgery. I needed a wide toe box and the rocker heel. I think that these are going to work really well, as they accommodate the swollen toe joint, which will probably be like that for a while. I have only worn them a couple of weeks and am just 3 months post-op, so we will see. No complaints but the lace on one the shoes is already starting to fray and I only wear casually. Is it possible for you send new laces? Thanks!

I have a partial amputation of the 3 lesser toes on one foot thus comfort is a must, these do not disappoint. Regular foot wear is the Biondi 5.
