The toe strap needs to be made of a softer material, it cuts in, making it uncomfortable..

I've had two pairs of Hoka sandals and one pair the side of the strap broke. The other pair I barely wore and the front strap broke and the limited warranty didn't cover it. I reached out to support and the admitted to using faulty material and then tried to backtrack and amend there statement. They have amazing shoes but be ready to get a new pair almost as soon as the warranty runs out without any support from hoka for loyal customers.

This is my second pair of the exact same recovery sandals. The first pair had soft upper material that rested on the top of the foot. This second pair have a more stiff and rigid material that make them a lot less comfortable. I will still wear them around the house, but I would not recommend them to anyone.
Now your sneakers on the other hand are super comfortable, I will continue buying them and recommend them to everyone.

I have 2 Bondi 8's, 1 Bondi 9, 2 Gaviota's 5 and 6 so obviously I love the sneakers for my Morton's Neuroma. When I tried on the Ora Recovery Flip it was very uncomfortable and whereas all my other pairs are a 10, the 10 was too large. I wear Oofos and I find the immensely more comfortable and afford me the support I need. Sorry I tried to go all out Hoka but it didn't work out.

Hoka really dropped the ball on these. Comfort wasn't there and the thing piece between the toe had sharp edges! Could not stand to even wear around the house and sent them back. Was super bummed!

I am a loyal customer. The shoes have great cushioning. However the component in between the toes needs to be redesigned as it cuts that area.

Nice-looking sandal, could have been good. The toe post is sharp and painful. I don't see why we have to sell a $60 sandal with a $1 toe post. Put a $7 toe post and charge $66, you blathering thieves!

I decided to try these as my FloJo's hurt my feet after wearing them all day. The Ora Recovery Flip is definitely a step up. My only complaint, and it's not much, is that the thong is not a soft cloth like on my FloJo's. So, at first it was hurting until I got used to it.

I'm a morbidly obese man and need flip flops or slides that could support me. I mostly garden. I wanted something easy to get in and get out of. I bought another brand at first. Google had recommended Hoka. The shopping experience was great. But when I received the footwear, I tried it and unfortunately had to return them. The texture of the sole was too much and caused discomfort on the bottom os my feet. I wish they had a soft non-textured surface so I could keep them

I wore these for 30 minutes walking around the house and the severely cut my toes. 3 weeks later i still have the scars. they appear to be well made and i loved the look, but i wont be able to wear them. Being diabetic i cant have injury's to my feet.

Only drawback is the straps are looser fitting than most of my flip flops. They are just as comfortable as my Hoka sneakers.
Will definitely get another pair!

I bought these and really liked them, shortly after where the thong connects to the sole broke, this was after a handful of uses. I recalled the 1 year warranty and submitted. The process was easy and they sent out a new pair. The same thing happend about a month later. Not worth the effort to try another pair as it puts a damper being out and losing one of your shoes.

Ordered the same size as my Hoka shoes and found that these flips run almost a full size off.
Tried to exchange and support was a living nightmare.
Better try these on in person if you want to make sure they fit at all.

I tried these when my oofos started wearing out. They were comfortable. They didn't make the farting sound that oofos occasionally makes. They toes don't fold over making me trip like the oofos do. The tread wear is better than oofos. The problem with the hokas is the strap holding your foot in the flip flop. I was skeptical on the flimsy appearance when I purchased them and the strap on the side broke. If I compared the two, I would choose the hokas over oofos.

I USED to love these shoes. I have purchased these recovery flip flops for years, in multiple colors, so imagine my surprise when I ordered a new pair, and the size suddenly doesn't fit. Had to exchange them for the next size up. The first day wearing the new pair, the left toe post is rubbing and causing irritation that never happened with previous models. Whatever was changed with this latest model was not for the better and now I need to find a new pair of recovery flips.
