Was excited to get these but after trying them out I found they are very stiff and not like my Bondi's. In addition the strap is very rough and scratchy and irritated my skin. Hopefully they will get better with use.

I liked the design and aesthetic of this shoe. And I hoped it's comfortable since Hoka makes running shoe. However, this flip is not comfortable at all. The cushion is fine but my toe and foot back get hurt during wearing it. It's just simply not well designed for bare foot wearing.

You don't offer half sizes for the flip flops or the slides. My husband really wanted these to work, but he is an 11.5. We tried both the slides and the flipflops in size 11 and 12. 11 is too small / 12 is too big. If you ever have 1/2 sizes we will shop again. We had to return.

They help me be more active around the house by removing alot of daily pain/discomfort. They do wear out quickly and have to be replaced every 6 weeks to maintain top quality performance.

They were so comfortable to begin with. I've got at least 10 pair of flip flops but after a half hour of walking they gave me a blister behind 2nd toe from the strap. I've tried bandaids but they don't help. I will wait for them to heal to see if I can build a callus. I do like the comfort of the sole bed

To be sure... this a great flip flop. I have arthritic toes and this sandal does a great job all. Its all I want/need in a sandal... except the material that goes in between your toes and over your foot is not the highest quality material and can be irritating at times (not all). I guess its more a production design decision that I wouldn't have made. Don't get me wrong, these are great sandals but with improved materials they would have been 5 star heaven.

So comfortable that I look for reasons to wear these - and I live in Minnesota - which has me meandering outside in the snow in 20 degree weather with them on. Love these!

I'm rehabbing an Achilles tendon injury, and I need to wear shoes. I don't like wearing shoes all day but needed the support. These are perfect. Plenty of support, very comfortable and my feet don't get to hot. I love them so much that I bought the slides and a pair for my spouse.

I had high hopes for the Recovery Flip but it was not to be. The cushioning present in Hoka shoes, although visible in appearance, was nonexistent in feel. There is more give in a flip/slide we issue in jails.

Once receiving sandals (5 weeks shipping), wore for two days around house, two blisters/ulcers between first & second toes on both feet. There is a defect in stitching of sandals strap and caused actual ulcers to my toes. Sent them back. Very disappointed. I continue to wear my previous Hoka recovery sandals that was rubber mold and does not cause ulcers.

These flip flops have a running shoe like sole, which makes it uncomfortable comparable to regular flip flops. I had a feeling that I am always being pushed forward. Its too heavy as well. IMHO sole should be much more neutral for flip flops. The material of the upper straps where cutting into the skin in between the toes. I like the other HOKA products, but these flip flops where literally the worst I have ever wore.

I've worn these things every day for years -- I live in Florida -- and they were perfect. I just bought a new pair -- 11/20 -- and they've changed for the worse. There is a fabric now between your toes instead of the rubber -- and it has an uncomfortable seam. They've also removed the arch support and made them wider. They used to hug the foot, but now it's like walking on a flat -- and I think less cushioned -- piece of rubber foam. Going to try OOFOS -- recommended by another comment that don't like the new design.

No other shoe on the market with type of support !! I keep these by the bed, and put them on when I get up in the night. They take a lot of impact away from my knees. I cannot walk as well, without them. If you are a big person, buy a pair of Bondi and a pair of these. I'm a woman but prefer men's tennis shoes but prob should've ordered these in women's.

I love these shoes, feel great. But if you were them a long time the material and heat can cause blisters. Wish there was a cloth option.
