Initially I wasn't sure they would work. Per the sizing guide on the website I ordered size 11, since I wear a 10.5 in two of Hoka's sneakers. It was way too big. I swapped them for 10s, which fit fine. The toe post was very irritating, literally rubbed me the wrong way. I used athletic tap between my toes for the first couple of days, until the strap stretched out and the post wore smooth. After that it has not been a problem. I really like the cushiony feel of the Hokas, and these sandals do not disappoint. I specifically got them to address recent flare ups of plantar fasciitis and they help with that. I've been using them for a couple of weeks now and am very happy with them.

I had to lightly sand the straps. There is a sharp edge that irritates you skin when you new. Otherwise very comfortable around the house. Not for long distance walking.

I really like HOKA sneakers and have 5 pair. I tried the Flip-Flop. I first ordered the same size as the Sneakers I wear (I use 10.5 EE). So I ordered a size 10. Fit way too loose and was too big. So I returned the Size 10 and ordered a Size 9. Received the Size 9. Unfortunately the Size 9 fits too loose.
The straps need to hold tighter to the top of the bare foot so that you can walk easily. Size 9 just fits way too loose. So I am returning them.
Too bad as I really like the Recovery platform. Just wish they fit better. Guess I will go get some more OluKai flip-flops. They fit much better but do not have the Recovery sole and are not as well made.
Quality of the HOKA flip-flops are great. They just will not stay on my feet for any extended walking activity. Not a knock on the quality. Just wish they fit better.

My son mentioned recently that he wished he could find a pair of flip flops that he could wear and not have pain. He loves HOKA running shoes, so we decided to try these. He loves them, though they are a little wide.

...these are sweet. Dealing with some foot issues and these are everything they say they are in helping with that. INCREDIBLY comfortable and effective so far. Between these and the Bondi 8s I bought at the same time, I'm a new convert!

Loved the cushion, comfort and support, but the straps were way too big. I have worn all types of flip-flops and I really wanted to love these as much as my Bondi 8's. Unfortunately, the straps were way too big and they tended to move around on my feet. The odd thing is that I have wide feet to begin with, but couldn't get happy with the fit.

I wish they came in 1/2 sizes or in a wide. A size 9 would as too big and and size 8 are the right length but need to be slightly wider as my little toes hand on the lip of the flips.

For year I have bought the same version of Oakley flip flops because I figured there was just not a really comfortable brand of flip flops out there. Like ever flip flop is the same. I was completely wrong! These are the best flip flops I’ve ever stepped foot in! True to fit. Perfect arch support. I’ve found a new brand that I will contour to buy for years to come!

Unfortunately, I returned the purchase due to a size issue. I bought the correct size locally. The experience was a good one and I will remain a happy customer.

I had a pair of Hoka recovery sandals that I love for their plush cushioning. However, Ihave wide feet and the strap irritates my foot a bit if I wear them too long. So I thought the recovery flips would solve the problem. The Flips solved the width problem but were inferior in the plush cushioning afforded by the sandals.

The material between the toes needs to be rubber or a comfortable plastic, the material used seams cheap and breakable.
