I wear the HOKA sandals all spring, summer and most of fall. I officiate Football and Basketball and use my sandals after each game for recovery. I will be ordering a size bigger next time.

The latest pair I bought was for a friend - sharing the comfort! I have three pairs of recovery thongs - I pretty much live in them. Cured my plantar fasciitis within a few days.

Maybe not shin splints, maybe more of an "inflamed anterior tendon" Either way, I could barely walk. Not to mention, I was on vacation in Hawaii, which was a bummer combination. Honestly, didn't do anything physical to deserve this. Was on a plane for six hours. Walked in sandals a bit. My foot tendon was just over it But when I got home, I began doing stretches, purchased these, and now I wear them around the house, instead of walking, barefoot. My foot problems were a thing of the past. Sucks getting old, I'm only 44, but on my sandal, where (from now on) will have some sort of foot support built-in. Thanks Hoka!
Ordered them online. If I could go back and do it again, I would definitely try on a smaller size first. Just to compare.

Bought these for my husband, since he wears HOKA shoes for work and exercise. Sadly, they immediately started rubbing the insides of his toes raw. After wearing them for 15min, he was left with an open sore on both feet. Definitely returning these!

I need to start by saying that I LOVED these things. They're crazy comfortable and look great. I've now had two pairs, and the left thong has torn on both. So very disappointing.

Its not been a month that I have used it but part of the strap are peeling off already. But using it helped me a lot with my Achilles tendinitis.

Had less than 24 hours and the strap between the toe broke. Unfortunately so many people purchasing seems to have decreased the quality and quality control.

This is my third pair of these slippers. The sole is the best there is, but the straps are still a work in progress. On my first two pairs the straps were so loose, no part of it touched my feet. There was a good 1/4 inch gap between the top of my feet and the bottom of the strap. This new pair is better, they still hover above my feet, but the gap is like 1/8.
The first two pairs had strap failures in 6-8 month, the materials just de-laminated. We'll have to see if this new pair makes it past 8 months

This sandal would be perfect if it weren't for the toe post. The sole is very comfortable, but not as comfortable as the Oofos. The sole of the Hoka is far safer when wet. If the toe post didn't "bite", this sandal would be perfect!

I am 9 1/2 but bought 10, per the website. They feel good on the soles, but fit too loose and tend to flop around on my foot. I have really loved my old size 10 Crocs which fit more snugly. I have to report that, for that reason and the$10 lower price, I'll return to them.

Have had Recovery slides for over two years and they feel great. Wanted some Recovery sandals and tried size 11. Way too big. Exchanged for size 10 (normally 9.5 on shoe size) and it was still too large for my foot. The straps felt too loose and thought it was because of size 10. So bought size 9 additionally to compare side by side. Sandal portion was at 9.5 cause my feet fit nicely on the sandal foot pocket. BUT!! I returned all because the straps themselves on all sizes tried were too big/loose, obligating me to grab/hold/grip the strap with my big and second toe as I walked with them. The strap needs to be little bit more snug to eventually wear into a nice fit. Too bad, was looking forward to these.

Hoka athletic shoes and sandals are the only way to go for comfort and service. I own 3 pairs of Clifton 9's and 2 pairs of slip on sandals. Both feel like you are walking on marshmallows. It's good to see that wider widths are now offered in some styles as my Cliftons are a little tight but ok with thin socks. As for Hoka's service, I blew out one of my sandals a few months after my purchase and they replaced it immediately. On another note, I recommend that Hoka should add a line of golf shoes.

I have several pairs of Hoka running shoes and hiking boots. They are very comfortable so reasonable to assume the flip flops are too. They are not. Very hard, very slippery, very big waste of money and I bought another brand flip flops to make up for it. Don't buy these, they aren't Hoka level.
