To be honest, I didn't even try these on. I felt the foot bed and thought they felt too hard for my for feet to walk in. I had every intention of getting the Bondi 5 because I had read such wonderful things on line about them, but couldn't bring myself to do it. $150 is A LOT of money to spend on a shoe as ugly as any of the Bondi 5's. I need an everyday shoe that I can wear with my clothes that doesn't let me feel the ground when I walk. This just wasn't the shoe for me.

The shoes constantly squeak when you walk, so loud that they cannot be used in the daily business.

I have extremely flat feet and fairly severe bunions as a result. I haven't had a flare up in over 15 years but had a doozy of one which I'm just coming around from which has lasted about six weeks. My podiatrist has had me in a walking boot and told me he wanted me in shoes with a rocker bottom sole that mimicked the sole of the walking boot and recommended Hokas. I've tried the Bondi Leather, Bondi LTR and Bondi 5 and, while very supportive and certainly plush, all have been far to narrow in the toe box for my affected foot. I was about to give up when I tried on a pair of the Clifton 4 and found them to be a little less cushy but more accommodating in the toe box where I need the room most. So far so good. I'm going on vacation in a month and plan to be wearing the Cliftons for hiking and general walking around. Fingers crossed.

I love my first pair of Hokas, they have been the only brand that relieves my hip pain from a replacement. I was hoping these would hold up as well, perhaps better because they were leather. I was very disappointed. By the end of the first week, the glue holding the individual pieces together was breaking down and the toe piece was already detached. I won't be buying these again, too expensive to last one week. Very disappointing.

I would like to return them, but no longer have the box. My daughter took it with her when she visited. It must be my tender feet. My Hoka soft black shoes are comfortable.

Thought I purchased a regular size. The shoes are wide and ugly. I feel like I'm wearing orthopedic shoes

These are too chunky around the base. The back catches on the step when walking downstairs. I have nearly fallen down the stairs many times. The Bondi 4 and LR were not so chunky. Please bring them back.

I am returning these shoes! They are way to big, clunky and very uncomfortable! This brand was suggested to me by a very dear friend whose opinion I trust and I was very disappointed! I am returning them this week for a refund!

So you all understand why I am so disappointed in these shoes, I own seven pairs of Hokas. I Purchased these based off the experience/comfort I had with the other shoes I bought here. I don't know if the shoes were manufactured differently. They don't fit right. I have foot pain after wearing them for a day. I initially thought it was just my plantar fasciitis, but I wear my old pair of Bondi and the pain goes away. It feels like there is something deeply embedded in the sole of the shoe that pokes at my foot when I walk. These Are the worst pair shoes I've ever purchased. I don't know if it is because they are leather and all of the other shoes I have purchased on this site were fabric/synthetic material. I am out of my 30 day window otherwise I would most certainly return these for a different Bondi. These are the worst. If I could get the shoes the score of zero I would, but the lowest score I could give was a one star.

I went with your shoe size suggestion. I used it 3 times thinking maybe it was me, but it was not fitting correct in the right places of my feet. I returned it before the 30 days no questions asked according to your website. I want to get 1 size smaller. I got my shoe on Aug 29. You got my returned shoe on Sept 11 2019 I sent it to you Sept 4. Still I have no updates. You did not send me the right size back & or you did not refund me. I wrote your email no response. Please help I really like my shoes but I need the right fit for my feet. I paid $170. Plus. That's a lot of money I spent that I don't have. HELP

Wanted to love this shoe...it WAS very 'cushy' and the size was as my usual 'sports' shoe (I usually order 1/2 size larger for running/hiking shoes) and the shoe DID allow use of my custom orthotics....BUT...there was an irritating unusual machine finished seam on the tongue inside the shoe that lays on top of the instep! This is very unusual...never had this happen in any other shoe. I DID try the shoe inside, for a bit, but could see that it would be too painful to wear. So..sadly...had to send the shoes back.

I purchased these shoes in April on a coworkers recommendation. I found them on sale on another site.
The soles are coming apart and caused me to pitch forward while walking on the carpeting at work.
These are very expensive to be falling apart already, and the place I purchased them from won't take them back because I didn't save the original box.
HUGE waste of hard earned money. Never again.

I returned these shoes and ordered another pair in a men's size which the website indicated was available. I later received an email saying they were out of stock and my account was credited. Not happy with this outcome!

I am a restaurant server. Comfortable shoes are A MUST in my work! Several years ago, I found the Reebok simply tone shoes. The sole was extra cushy. Super soft and thick. I bought several pairs that wore out eventually. They were discontinued (like they always are) and now I am looking and looking for a replacement. Bondi 5 in leather is NOT "it" unfortunately! Not for walking - not for me. The sole might be cushy for a runner. But not a walker. The sole is actullay VERY FIRM!!!
And rather STIFF. My feet hurt after trying them on my first shift. And I was walking on carpet!
My other restaurant is concrete. I am not even going to take the chance. I ordered he bondi LTR leather which HOKA calls a walking shoe. I can only hope it is true. I will find out in a few days. What I need is a good shoe. HOKA is a good shoe. But I need a thick sole that is not stiff with a SOFT cushioning - much like the discontinued Reebok simply tone!
Who knows they might improve their design in order to SATISFY the huge pool of workers who are on their feet for 8 hours or more?
Time will tel!

Love the look! However the toe area is too narrow and shallow. Very sad I had to return them.

I have foot problems for two years. The only shoes I can wear are Bondi 5, but they look so big and bulky. Then I found the Bondi LTR in black which are dressier and very comfortable. I was so pleased with it. I wear them no matter what kind of clothes I am on, casual or dressy. Last week I ordered another pair of Bondi LTR in black, when I opened the box I was terribly shocked, it's an ugly new design. They look sporty and the inserts are thinner. Why made the dumb changes? I recommended the Bondi LTR to many friends before and they loved it. But I am not going to tell friends about it anymore. I am so sad and disappointed. Please bring the new ones back, please, please.
