I'm a Registered Nurse and have learned, in a 20 year career, how important having the right footwear is. Hooks One One shoes are my go to shoes for all day every day!

Upon reading the reviews on the Bondi I decided to try it. I have long been looking for a cushy, black leather shoe that could be used for walking around as well as workouts. There is nothing dainty about this shoe. It is not to sleek or streamlined as other Hoka models are, but that "ah" feeling when you put them on is wonderful. They are lightweight and have a good, sturdy, comfortable sole. I love new shoes, but so often they take forever to break in. Not these babies. They felt good from the first wearing. Go on, indulge yourself.

These are great shoes right out of the box. If you are on your feet a lot walking and or standing on concrete, these are the shoes for you.

Love the leather Bondi's! Yes, you have to break the leather in a couple of days, like any other leather shoe, but they are so comfortable! Th treason I bough =t the leather is because I work at a barn and the leather keeps the sand and dirt out of my feet. Tried the mesh sided one (also super goofy!), but the sand gets into them too easily. You just can't go wrong with these shoes - all day comfort and a well made product! Thanks Hoka!

A fibroma in my left arch makes walking painful. Not so with these shoes! There are times I even forget it's there. I purchased the tradewinds color. Goes great with full or capri length jeans, as well as shorts.

I use these shoes as my work shoes in a winery. I am on my feet for 8-10 hours at a time. I walk constantly on concrete, cement and hard packed earth. These have not let me down. My feet never hurt after my shift. They are a bit clunky but the all leather outside makes them appropriate for work. Thank you!

I put on my Bondi 5 and they fit perfectly right out of the box. I had the sensation of wanting to keep walking because of the meta rocker. I love the Bondi 5 and recommend it to everyone. I feel like my feet are stable, I added 2" to my height, my feet and legs did not feel tired and I can hardly wait for the release of the Bondi 6.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have found for my arthritic big toe, which doesn't like to bend and hates having any pressure on it. The modified front rocker means it doesn't have to bend, and being able to select a wide size means no pressure. I put in my orthotic inserts, and I can walk longer and faster in these shoes than any others (including my old favorite Ryns, Natural Balance, and Merrill's). I like them better than any other Hoka style.

This is a first time HOKA purchase for me and I couldn't be happier. I have terrible ball of the foot pain and have a very difficult time finding sneakers where it does not occur. When I do find a shoe that works, no matter what the brand, the company changes the product the next year and subsequent purchases of the same shoe are not the same and cause pain. I purchased the bluish Bondi leather HOKA and love it. The first day I wore it I took my dog for a 4 mile walk prior to working a 12 hour shift as a nurse on cement floors. NO PAIN!!! I will buy a second pair for future use. I also purchased a pair of hikers and the same, no pain.

Last comment from Mh was a comment re Bomdi LTR 1019717 blue/grey shoe. This black Bondi is a mesh fabric, so comfortable and a great walking shoe. That's why I ordered it in the blue leather, but the leather is tight and not the same..

Hoka sneakers were recommended by my podiatrist, as they are wider at the ball-of-the-foot-area. I ordered a pair of the Bondi 5 (medieval blue ones) and they are great. Then I ordered the leather ones, and while they seem not at wide as the first pair in that area, they are still great shoes.

Very comfy, plenty of toe space and CUSHY!!

I bought these as work shoes. I am a server and spend long hours on my feet. I was looking for something comfortable with thick soles because I work on concrete floors. Overall I find the shoes to be very comfortable although they are a little bulky looking.

I would buy again . Going to try sandal soon

i have had these shoes for a couple months now. They are like walking on a cloud!

I buy it for the cushioning but it is WAY too expensive IMO

I do like the Bondi Leather but it is heavier than the regular Bondi's. My feet stays warm when it rains and in cold temperatures. I hope it will last longer than 4+ months if the bottom treads are not worn off as easily as the typical Hoka Bondi 6 or 7 versions. All in all, my feet are comfortable, secure, stable, and provides roomy toe space especially on running long miles.

My husband would appreciate if it came in a wider width like an E

Are not slid resistence. Slip sliding all over my deli. Very comfortable and lots of toe space.

I use this at work while being in my feet most of the day. Comfortable!

Love the shoes, super comfy. Certainly not the cutest...planning on getting a better color shoe with next purchase. Also the wide fit leaves a whole lot of room which is great for work as a nurse after 13hrs on my feet but can't imagine trying to run with my feet wiggling around so much inside the shoes

YES it is a great shoe HOKA black leather is the only one I can wear at work (restaurant server) without being in pain after hours on my feet and yes bondi 6 is better than bondi 5 because the sole is now SOFTER (the previous one was way too firm despite the "cushy" description) BUTthe fit is different from the previous one! The toe is much wider now and I have to add an extra inner sole as well in order to make up for the overall extra width. Why did they make the new shoe so wide I wonder? too bad...:-(
