The material is rigid and cuts between toes and rubs the side of foot where strap goes into sole of shoe

Disappointed with my recent purchase!
Just wanted to share my experience with a pair of ORA recovery flip shoes that I recently bought. Unfortunately, it was a complete letdown!
First of all, I don't get the sizing on these shoes idk . I ordered the same size as my ORA slides, but these shoes turned out to be too small. It's incredibly frustrating when you can't even rely on the size chart provided by the manufacturer.
But that's not all! Even if they had fit properly, the comfort level was nowhere near what I expected. I had previously purchased a pair of ORA slides from HOKA, and they were seriously like walking on clouds. So, naturally, I had high hopes for these recovery flip shoes. Boy, was I wrong!
The material used for these shoes felt cheap and uncomfortable against my skin. It was like wearing a pair of rough sandpaper on my feet. The cushioning was practically non-existent, leaving my feet sore and achy after just a short period of wear. Talk about a major disappointment!
I understand that not every product can be perfect, but when you pay good money for something, you expect a certain level of quality and comfort. Sadly, these ORA recovery flip shoes failed to deliver on both fronts.
I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering purchasing these shoes. Save your hard-earned money and look elsewhere for a comfortable and well-fitting pair of footwear. Trust me, you'll thank me later!

They did not fit snug enough on the top of my foot and were very disappointing. When I walked, they slipped off my foot.
I have high arches and sandals like this always fit my foot.
I cant imagine folks with flat feet wearing these.

The upper was too loose and the shoes flopped on my feet when I walked. I have a high arch and usually have problems with shoes being too tight. Love my Hoka tennis shoes but these noe so much.

The top part that goes thru your toes was about an inch too wide or big. I have a narrow foot and sometimes that happens. I wish there was a way to adjust the instep. I had to return them. If you make an adjustable sandal please let me know. I will be your first customer.

I love Hoka shoes, but not this one. The strap between the toes is at an angle which rubs and makes blisters. In addition, the odd design makes the shoe slip off sideways. Returning them.

The footbed felt great but the strap was not flexible and would not accommodate swelling. Followed instructions to return and nowUSPS can't tell me if the item was delivered. I have my receipt and the tracking stops the same day I dropped it off. No package delivered back to Hoka and no refund. Now the hassle of how to get my money back.

I bought two different pairs of the newest Hoka Ora Recovery flip flop. The footbed was so hard, one of the pairs it was flat, and one pair was significantly smaller than the size it should be. I have been wearing these flip flops for years (multiple pairs) and it has had incredible arch support, cushion, and helped with my PF. The new sugarcane footbed is a huge disappointment.

The footbed of the sandal felt great but the strap between the toe and what goes down around your foot was incredibly uncomfortable. I was bummed because I thought these may be comparable to a Birkenstock. My foot is narrow and I believed since the strap came so low on my foot, it would be secure. The strap seemed to rub immediately and the toe part would have created a large blister within minutes.

I thought these would be soft and cushy - but they're not - they are hard plastic. I'm waiting for a pair of thong style Hokas that is soft, cushy, and can be worn all day long.

The strap between the toes is way too big - the sandal is so loose, I'm afraid of tripping!

this shoe would be for someone with a fat wide foot not some one with a normal foot! Very disappointed, the length was perfect! But the straps were so big your foot falls out of the shoe causing a person to fall!

These are the same as men's sandals . I do not recommend to any female with normal feet. The straps are way too loose and your feet slide around while walking and they're like hard plastic instead of being soft rubber like you would expect in a recovery sandal.

same amazing cushioning that you'd expect from Hoka. but the post btw the toes is fat plastic (bad for those of us without a big gap btw big/2nd toe) & it's all plastic upper (on top of the foot; under the foot etc) so both sticky & chaffing issue. Sadly - I would love a Hoka sandal but they need to improve the quality of everything that touches the foot first.

I am returning the product for a second time because the package contained two different sizes. I noted that in my first return but I received what I received the first time. Even though the bag says they are a size 9 they are not the same size. Something must have happened when these were packaged.
I am going to try and locate these in another way because the one that did fit was comfortable.

I ordered a size 10 thinking that because I normally wear a 9 1/2 this would fit. It was too small. So I returned them asking for a size 11 and there are none available! These are on back orders but apparently on back order for a very long time because my credit card was credited and money refunded. So disappointed

I am a size 8.5 in regular shoes so I bought both 8 & 9; 8 were too short and 9 were too wide and loose in the thong part. The arch support and sole were very comfortable and I would have given a 5 star if the size would have worked. I also ran into the same sizing issue with my husband. He is 11.5; 12 was too big and 11 too short. We love their athletic shoes so that is why we wanted the flip flops.

The fit is just slightly off. I loved the first generation its recovery slide and was hoping this would be similar. Unfortunately that is not the case. Two stars because it's cute. Might work for someone with a much more narrow foot.
