I had a knee replacement and started getting a pain in my big toe. My podiatrist said it was two bones in the toe rubbing caused by a changed walking gait from the knee replacement. He recommended the Hoka Bondi and referred to it as a 10 hour shoe. I got a pair and they are great. I've already purchased a second pair in a different color.

Great flip flop with lots of cushion. I have plantar fasciitis and can't walk barefoot at all even at home in my house and these flip flops are great. I mainly wear them around my house, but they are great to put on after a run as well.

I had foot surgery months ago and it's uncomfortable to walk barefoot even in the house. These flip flops support my foot with a firm sole, so my forefoot doesn't bend uncomfortably, while providing good arch support and SUPER padding--soft but supportive. Even though I had surgery on my big toe, I found these comfortable between my toes.

The ORA recovery flip flop is comfortable to put on, but when I walk they cut my toes. Not even rub wrong, they cut my toes. The piece between my toes is too sharp and hard. I also wish they would make half sizes. Otherwise I think they would be great!

I own a few pair of Hoka's and love them! I purchased an 8 in the flops, which is what I normally wear. They were small when I put them on but I hoped once I broke them in a bit maybe the straps would loosen and fit better, but they're still too small. It's past time to return them and lost the paperwork. If you're considering purchasing I'd just go up a size. However, they do have the cushion and comfort of Hoka's that I love.

My Hokas have been a great help with my heal spur. Have both the tennis type and the saddles. Will purchase again. Wish you made more "mule" type. Think that would give the support I need but also give the more saddle freedom.

I would not buy this shoe again. It is uncomfortable and the insole is much too hard. Not soft at all.

I work in Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle clinic, and have recommended Hoka One One recovery shoes to many patients, and they love them as well.

The Bondi 6 really helps my planter fasciitis. These shoes are like walking on a cloud.

I would buy again super comfortable for tired feet after break in period. It took a little bit to break in the toe part. The toe part felt rough between the toes for several wears. Hope they change this part of the shoe.

I love the comfort of this flop but I was really surprised that the toe thong broke after only two months. I've had to Gorilla glue it back but it only lasts about a week or so before it comes loose. Even though I wear them frequently, I was disappointed because I expected them to last longer especially for the price. I would recommend based on the comfort but warn anyone about the issue that I had.

Love there tennis shoes for walking but not these flip flops. I thought the sore was because they were new. Wore again around house and sore came back, not happy with them.

If you have worn past years of Hoka One One Recovery, don't bother with 2019 change in their flip flop, VERY disappointing. Your foot does not stay in place unless maybe you have wide feet. I am a standard True size 7 Medium. The toe piece is terrible as well. Had many pairs 2017/18 model. Cheap Cheap Cheap!!!

I bought this because I have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I wore Bondi for running, step classes and teaching Zumba. I figured I needed something to wear at home rather than bare feet. I have not had anymore foot pain since I started wearing hoka sandal and shoes. Just today while shopping a lady approached me and asked where I got my sandals. I had to stop and show her on my phone where I got it. Love my Hoka! I will be buying more from Hoka from now on.

I have booth the Ora flip and the Oofos and the oofos are more comfortable. I don't like how the sides come up on the edges of the Ora flip. I fit these to be more on the narrower side. The piece between the toes is not comfortable. I feel I need to break them in so the strap hopefully stretch and maybe the will be ok.

These flip flops are essential to anyone with foot pain from plantar faciiatis or just tired feet. Excellent support - feels like I'm walking on pillows!

Have two pairs of original style and LOVE them. Needed new ones and ordered these. So disappointed in new style. Doesn't feel or fit like original. Sent them back. Begging for original style to come back. They should offer original style AND a new kind so you can choose.

I usually read the reviews and wish I had this time. I have an older pair that are very comfortable and I’m very disappointed with the new pair. There is a design flaw in the material in the toe thong, it has rough stitching that causes pain and irritation. Certainly not worth the money.

The shoe is comfortable and lightweight. They would fit better if I could have ordered a half size. The toe post needs to be softer.

Super comfy. Have PF and really helps when walking on wood floors or anywhere. Are a little wide but when it gets hot feet will swell a little.

These were horrible. I loved the cushy foundation but I couldn’t wear them as they literally sliced between my toes on my right foot. So bummed.

The sole is extremely comfortable. But returning the shoe because the straps are so loose, I feel like I'm wearing shoes that are not sized properly. Also, the toe strap between the two toes is horrible. I only wore around the house and the discomfort was immediate. Disappointing because I LOVE hokas

Cushy & comfy as you’d expect from Hoka, EXCEPT as others noted, the toe post is AWFUL, painfully rubs between toes. I’d expect a performance based shoe company like Hoka to figure out how to make a more comfortable toe post! They were comfy enough that I rigged my own solution, sewed a piece of fleece around the toe post, but you shouldn’t need to make your own modifications on $50 flip flops. Hopefully, Hoka fixes this. Unlike others who reviewed these shoes, the sizing was fine for me.

I wear an 8.5 and ordered a 9; the fit was perfect. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the toe post. The left shoe was fine, but the right one was sharp against my toes. I wear flip flops all the time, so it's not an issue with toe posts in general. I rubbed some mink oil on the offended toe post and kept working it until it softened a bit. I do love the fit and feel of the shoe. It has great arch support and is extremely comfortable (after the toe post was softened).
