I purchase this sandal in the same size as what I wear in the HOKA ONE ONE sneaker and it was perfect! I put them on a month ago and have ONLY taken them off to shower and sleep! ??

I am not a fan of flip flops- tried as a whim as an alternative to the slide- the toe strap is uncomfortable- I think I just have weird feet

The length and width was perfect, nice and cushy, lovely two-tone color, but the piece that sits between the toes is too narrow and sharp. I tried wrapping some mole skin around it, but it wouldn't stay put. Such a bummer because otherwise, the sandal is very comfy. Suggest Hoka get a thicker or some kind of padded piece for between-toe area.

My usual size (8) but too short and the toe thong pressed painfully between my toes.

I've been wearing Hokas for 5 years now for walking and think they're the best around. This sandal though is a godsend for my tired feet with bunions on both sides of the feet: the Y is uniquely designed to miss putting pressure on any of those bunion areas! Thank you Hoka. Amazingly comfortable all the way around.

Bought the Recovery flip in white (made in China) and they are incredibly comfortable. Decided to order another pair in black (made in Vietnam) and they are smaller, have a rougher interior, slightly more rounded toe box, and an uncomfortably high arch. They were purchased only three weeks apart. Will return and am hoping I can get another pair with the same degree of comfort as my first ones!

Comfort for my feet suffering from metatarsalgia is wonderful, but the fit is awkward. I have size 8.5 Clifton 6 shoes. Bought these in 9 but my foot barely fits, feels like my heel is hanging out the back. The strap is cut oddly too. It makes them feel like they are sitting askew on my foot and are going to fall off. I kept them because it took a while for them to come and they do feel good on the balls of my feet. I would recommend them but I would tell them to buy a size up. I also read that the men's version has a regular shaped strap. I wish I had seen that before ordering. I really want another pair but they are so pricy and I am not altogether comfortable with the fit.

The strap between the toes causes pain and redness. I’m sure if I walked any distance I would have blisters. However, the heel support for my planters fasciitis is excellent. They aren’t great looking, but work for the purpose.

This shoe would be great for someone with flat feet and long toes. Seriously. I had almost an inch left at the front of this flip flop but my heel was all the way to the end in back. It's an odd fit. The sole feels comfortable but the thong is hard and scratchy. Their walking shoe is great but I'm not a fan of the flip flop.

These are literally the PERFECT casual flip-flop and I will never again be without a pair of these in my closet. We have wood floors and sometimes my feel hurt, but with these shoes there is no more pain. They are perfect as a slipper or even for going on a short walk. I cannot recommend these shoes enough.

Extremely poor design, ordered 2 pairs - one for myself and one for my husband. The way the toe area is designed, the material actually felt like it was going to physically cut our toes - didn't they test these out before they made them??

I bought these Hoka flip flops for comfort and support. My hope was that these would work because they don't put pressure on your feet where regular flip flop straps do. I kept hoping the piece between my toes would stop feeling so scratchy, but that hasn't happened. I kept them in the box for months and pulled them out once in a while to try them on and was disappointed each time, so I'm finally returning them.

After a serious injury to my foot I have had 5 surgeries in 3 years and now have overcompensation issues, as well as ACL Insertion tendinitis and subsequent plantar fasciitis in both feet. I was finally able to return to mild running, but for the most part I have taken up cycling to preserve what little “load” I can stand during work outs. I “walk” in Bondi 6 and run in Clifton 6 so these were going to be my first “try” as a basic orthopedic flip for Frankenfoot.
I own these in EVERY color way and I do not know how I would ever have managed this Spring/Summer without them.
Incredibly similar to the footbed composition of the Bondi 6 (imo) or the Clifton 5, for me these are like stability posh running shoes underneath a perfectly placed arch support. I NEVER write reviews, but my Kids got me these for Moms Day thinking I could just wear them in the house (because I will never be able to so much as walk to the bathroom in bare feet again) and I quite literally am wearing a pair 24/7 with the exception of WOD’s, but post workout the ONLY shoes I wear. I am planning on doubling up on them as soon as they are back in stock and go on sale, but honestly if they do not they are absolutely worth every penny, imo.

I live in my Hoka Shoes! Absolutely the best athletic shoes made. I have four pair and would not trade them for anything and have recommended to all my family and friends. I ordered these black flip flops to wear to the pool but was very, very disappointed. Had a blister and swelling between my toes from the awkward strap between the toes from wearing about 15 minutes. It is so thick and stiff there is no way wearing for any length of time would soften the piece. Definitely needs to be redesigned!!!

I'm not sure if I needed a different size, or they just do not fit the shape of my foot, but they did not work for me. I ordered a 10 which is my normal size, and the arch support was not in the right place for me. It felt like I needed my foot to be all the way back in the shoe for the arch to line up, but then my heal was hanging off of the back and there was a lot of room at the front of the shoe. I tried to walk around in them for a bit, but I found that my calves were getting tired. They were just not for me.

I’m obsessed with Hoka sneakers! I’ve been wearing Oofos sandals for a few years. Great for my plantar fasciitis. Decided to give the Hoka sandals a try. The Oofos definitely won’t be winning any fashion awards and these pink sandals are even less appealing. I was willing to look past that for comfort but the material between the toes hurt a lot!!! I have to send back and get another pair of Oofos.

I absolutely love my Hoka Cliftons, and was super excited to get these. They did not disappoint!! So much cushion! My knees and lower back love them also.

Fit was right per my usual size 8 and the chart. The footbed was great but the seam and material between the toes was abrasive (I'm don't have very sensitive feet and am used to flip flops). I ordered the OOFOS and they're very comfy, with great arch support and footbed.

I'm usually not too picky but these fit super awkward. I wear 6.5-7 and ordered these in a 7. Length they were great and width but the strap was too high and wide so my foot slid around. I was very easily able to stick 3 fingers in between my foot and the strap. Which led me to grip my toes when I walked and the toe strap isn't very soft. They are a bit heavy and clunky. They also seemed to rock when I walked which is a big no no bc I have low arches. Gah I so badly wanted to love these! They do have plenty of squish tho which is why I wish I could made these work :( I need a summer Sandel!

The part between the toes hurt like heck and had no give, so no hope of softening up. I never wore them and gave them away.

I thought these were a little big I have the sneakers( clifton 6) and have been waiting for my color choice to come in - the sneakers are 91/2 and are fine. These sandals are a bit big in the toe area. They are OK I needed something because I have osteoarthritis in my toes and slew of other foot issues and I have lots of Birkenstocks and Naots but since i am home so much and it is getting warmer I thought these would be good inside the apt until it gets really warm and then I will wear them outside for errands..I will keep them they are definitely comfortable but even though I have long toes they are big but an 8 would probably be too small.I am a 9 in most shoes but can get away with an 81/2 in sandals in Birkenstocks and Naots I take a 39 in sandals and a 40 in shoes.
I'd also recommend:
Naot or Birkenstock or New Balance

I love love love these for comfort and walking by far the best flip flop I have ever owned. I run 15-20 miles a week typically and my feet were bothering me when I wore flip flops. Now I can rock flip flops all day. I have used them on concrete, asphalt, rock, sand, gravel and grass and they are great on all. I have chased a two year old and jumped to reach things and had awesome results in these. If you are someone who cares about how stylish your flip flops are these absolutely are not for you. They follow the sole profile that Hoka is so famous for so they don't look cute. Now if you are like me and dislike other fashionable shoes like Birkenstocks or the like then you may enjoy these because I think they are much nicer than those. Enjoy!

The shoe fit sbout 1/2 size smaller than usual. These flip flops are amazingly comfortable. I have no complaints other than the sizing.
