The soles feel great, exactly the same great support I love from my running shoes. They have good arch support and I really want to like them...
The straps are awkward. I didn't realize from the pictures, but the straps are further down your feet than normal flip-flops. I think this is supposed to be more ergonomic and hold the shoes onto your feet better, but in reality it doesn't feel right to my feet and I end up gripping them more with my toes than I otherwise would. Also, occasionally as I'm walking, the shoe will get kicked off in front of me. I've never had these issues with other sandals.
The strap material feels nice. I don't have any problems with the piece in between the toes like some reviewers mentioned. It's just the placement of them that isn't working for me.
I really want to like them, but they're not really working for me. I have a pair of the recovery slides that I only wear indoors, and I wish I had just gotten a second pair of those instead for outdoor use.
As a note, I normally wear an 8.5. I purchased a size 9 and they fit correctly (length wise).

Sadly, this recovery flip has really changed since the last. I can usually count on Hoka One One to fit a wider foot, but this one is definitely more narrow and isn't good if you have high instep- can't fit my foot correctly in the footbed due to the change of design.

Love the color & in general the comfort but after wearing for a few hours, the cloth thong was cutting into my toe & was starting to form a blister. Had to take them off.

I tried this sandal for the first time and while the support was awesome on the underside of my foot the top of the sandal was too roomy and allowed my foot to move around. So I will be sending back.

Size runs very big. Not enough cushion, not as comfortable as clinton 7.

very cushiony, BUT the top strap , where it goes into the cushiony part really hurts the inside of my foot.

I was looking for an anatomically correct flip flop for after running trails but the instep bump is all the way across and feels like I'm stepping on a log. I would like to return these because I have worn them a few times around the house and cannot get used to the "bump" in the middle of my foot.

These shoes are cute and comfy when you don't want to wear sneakers. They do not fit well at all. I'm a size 6.5 I ordered in a 7 exchanged them for an 8 and the back of my foot is right on the lip. The front is too far back otherwise they would fit well. They're pricey too.

I'm going to try wrapping moleskin around the connector. Hopefully it'll help.

I wear Hoka recovery slides a lot. They help with my plantar fasciitis tremendously. These, not so much. They would be the right length for my feet, except that the thong is set so far back that my heel is on the back edge and my toes have too much space in front. They look like clown shoes!

They're very wide and make my feet feel huge and I can't wear them for anything besides a quick trip outside because they rub my feet raw under the little toe piece. Nice cushion and rock to them though.

Not worth it, and heel is so high I feel like I could fall and twist my ankle. Lime green color is not cute in person either.

I love Hoka products, but the flip flop is not of the same caliber as the shoes. The toe piece is horribly uncomfortable.

I loved the cushion in these but simply could not wear them. They did not fit me properly- appeared to be the wrong length from the toe thong to the front of the sandal...

The flip flops are cushioned, but, if you have low back problems and need a little lift in heel, these do not have it! Your heel will sit lower than the ball of your foot. Another problem I have with them is the in soles, they are imprinted similar to the outer sole and when your feet swell, that imprint hurts! It would be so much better if the in sole was smooth!

The part that goes between the toes is back too far. They make the front of my foot hurt. I threw the box away or I'd send them back.

Hoka needs to take a card out of Nike or fit flops for there straps I tried the men's and women's the straps rub ur feet raw. There are sharp edges and those edges also crack for this reason and this reason alone I would NOT recommend buying them till they figure out new straps that won't rub u raw and crack! And there plastic straps on the prior version were also a bust

Perhaps these would fit other feet, but the straps were much too loose, and a tripping hazard for me. I am a normal size 9medium. The sole material ok. Quite stiff, though it would certainly compress nicely eventually.

I have neuropathy and I thought with the arch and extra support and having my toes not enclosed in a shoe this would be a good thing for me to try. But people with neuropathy and sensitive feet are not going to find the texture comfortable on the bottom of their feet somehow that texture starts hurting and all you want is some sort of gel like soul to take that pain away. Also I felt a little uneasy like off-balance in them.
I'd also recommend:
Havianas, Nike and teva
