Fit was just right, I wear between 7 and 7.5 so ordered 7.5 which left a tiny bit of room. These are the kind of shoes I wish I'd been buying years ago, what my feet have needed. Love the stretchy ties too, an extra I wasn't looking for, I like it!

I love this shoe!! I’ve wanted to try Hokas for a while, but my local running store carries pretty much nothing in a wide. Also Hokas aren’t exactly the prettiest shoes. But after bunion surgery, I needed the cushiest and most supportive shoe possible so I ordered these and I’m in love! They are somehow incredibly cushy and so lightweight! I will never go back to another brand. So happy Hoka makes wide shoes! And so happy to discover Zappos let’s you test drive them :) (I run 30-40 miles a week, need a neutral to supportive shoe and primarily train for half-marathons)

Nice shoes, good fit, I had to return them. The arch was too painful to walk on. These shoes felt like the orthopedic shoes with steel arches I wore as a kid. Not good for people with flat feet.

These are awesome shoes. Had to go to the wide width just because they run narrow especially in the heel. But wider width fits great.

I am writing this review because I've been dealing with a chronic plantar fasciitis condition in my right heel for about 25 years. I am a health care professional who works in a large hospital and I do a lot of walking on hard floors all day long. It's been difficult for me to find a sneaker that I can wear, that both looks good and takes care of my heel pain. In the past, I've had to buy these wide chunky orthopedic sneakers and put inserts into them in order to get by. Last year I went searching for a more modern looking sneaker that would feel good and look better. I had never heard of Hoka One One. I also needed a wide. I am petite in general, but as you age, your feet get wider. I went to our local running store and the sales person brought one sneaker out after the other. After walking 10 feet, I can tell if they are going to work or not. After about 10 different sneakers, they brought me the Hoka Clifton 4. FINALLY! A good looking sneaker I could walk in without pain! It felt great right out of the box. The Clifton 4 comes in a wide. I've worn that for a year and they still feel good. I recently bought my second pair of this sneaker in a different color from Zappos (ordered one day and came the next!). I love this sneaker. I just retired and want to walk several times a week and can do so thanks to Hoka One One. For my heel pain, they are the most comfortable, supportive and nice looking sneaker I have found to date.

Loved the look but too tight in the toe box. Had to return.

For me, there wasn't enough cushioning in heel. Pretty shoe, though. Probably just my feet.

Best running shoes ever. No more knee pain!

I am very active, and I'm trying these rocker-sole shoes from Hoka One One to help alleviate metatarsal pain. I was surprised to see they get great reviews from runners and active people - even for marathons! I tried a few sizes and styles at home, and settled on this 8 D Clifton 4. I usually wear an 8 Wide in New Balance or a 39 in Danskos. These are *really* wide in the toe box, but not sloppy, because the wider sole also supports your foot really well. They are also longer in the toe than my New Balance trail running shoes, but again, that's supposed to be good for relieving metatarsal pain. So the fit seems great. Insoles are removable, and I can slip in my German sport metatarsal bar insoles, without squishing my foot. Just took them for a short walk, and I'm feeling good. Can't wait to try them more. I'm happily surprised this black and white style looks sporty and not like giant clown shoes, as I feared.

I love Hoka! This is my fourth pair:) These in particular are very pretty with several tones of blue. They are light weight, but with the famous Hoka support. The laces are stretchy and stay tied. Fits true to size.
