I am a HUGE fan of the Hoka Speedgoat trail running shoes and am on my second pair of those for hiking. I was looking for a comparable pair in black or grey that I could wear around town. I had ordered the Hoka One One Hupana, which are more sleek, but they were much too narrow for my foot unfortunately. The Cliftons are a little bulkier than I'd like for a casual sneaker, but they are delightfully comfortable. I have some foot issues so I have to be picky in my footwear, but these feel amazing right out of the box. I have wide feet and the wide size is nice and roomy in the toe box. The cushioning on these is amazing. Really happy to have found these!

Really great shoes, and great fit. Gives really good but soft support all around your feet, and nice built up sole. I can really recommend them!

Love how these feel for my running!!! They are my go to style and brand due to their cushioning which keeps the impact down, keeps feet supported without constaint, and makes me feel very confident!

Just discovered HOKA after being a New Balance loyalist for years. I started to have problems with my forefoot and the One One resolved them. I was a little dubious about the rocker type sole but actually it turned out to be exactly what I needed. Instead of coming down on the ball of my foot I now come down on the heel and then the shoe gently moves my foot forward. Can't comment on durability since I haven't had them that long but I hope the soles hold out for quite some time.

I suffer from plantar fascists and have tried many different brands. Hands down Hoka is the best. I'd recommend the Bondi also as a great cushion fit too! I think I'm up to my 5th pair!

I'm a big fan of Hoka. Great for running. I order a half size larger than my regular shoes as athletic shoes in general seem to run small. The half size larger seems to be enough. Great cushioning on heel for high impact activity. They're not terribly cute shoes but my feet are happy when I wear them.

Oh my goodness! These shoes! I’ve been wearing Brooks Ghost for years. I am a group fitness junkie and the support these shoes provided is amazing. This is my shoe moving forward.

These were for my daughter, who has a narrow heel and a medium width toebox. Her foot tends to fit better into slightly narrow shoes, and the fit on this one was perfect on the first try, so I'd say (and said) that I feel these must run a tad narrow-to-average. The sole was nicely padded, and shaped to assist running, in that it rounds your step, propelling you forward. She found that a little disturbing for just walking, but said they are great if you're in a hurry! :-) The styling was good; beautiful colors, the ankle opening neither too high nor low, and no weird pressure points anywhere. She got the teal color ones with orange laces. We'd recommend these shoes for casual joggers, light running, hurry-to-class or maybe even speed walking.

This is a great running shoe! I have plantar fasciitis and my feet are a little wider. This shoe had amazing arch support, wonderful cushioned support and is versatile! I ordered the black and white but will be sure to get some others when I need a new pair. Honestly a great shoe! Thank you Zappos for amazing customer service and for helping me find this shoe:)

I power walk on concrete every day and this extra cushion is amazing and well worth the extra $ to save my knees for the future.

This is my 2nd pair of Hoka's & I really like them! I waited to review them after I was convinced they were the right pair for me. These are my walking-exercise go to's & I've now put about 15 miles on them. I believe my 1st pair was a "wide width" but can't confirm that. Because these are "medium width", My 1st few walks weren't great as I had to make some adjustments but as of today, they are terrific!

This was a great shoe for my plantar fasciatis and Achilles tendinitis! I can finally run without pain.

I bought this model at the REI garage sale this summer in my size, 9, but found them much too big for me. So I ordered this year's model of the same style in several sizes, including smaller ones. This year's model is right-sized, so I ended up keeping the size 9. Hokas have made it possible for me to travel and walk long days on sidewalks around the world without wearing out my feet. I they are great! I will be wearing Hokas for the foreseeable future!

Great style - less “boaty” than my other Clifton’s.

Love these shoes! Great cushion and arch support although it’s taken me a bit of time to adjust to how supportive they are standing in them all day.

I love these shoes, and own them in a medium width, but thought I’d try the wide for when the joints in my feet swell. A bit too big for me, so sticking with the medium width.

I like these shoes but they are higher on my ankle than I am used to. The back of the shoe kind of pushes on my achilles when I drive my car but when I walk the shoes are super comfortable with lots of cushion and I am definitely keeping them. My foot is a size 6 and I got a size 6 1/2 which is perfect. I do not like running in them only because the shoe feels bulky. I wish they were lower profile. I have walked up to 9 miles on tricky terrain and the worked fine.

I have developed arthritis in the midfoot. My orthopedist told me to get it a shoe with a stiff sole and a rocker bottom. I ordered these and they are so comfortable, I am able to walk as much as I want without aggravating my foot pain. I’m very glad I bought these and would recommend them to anybody that has arthritis across the top of the foot.

I sometimes struggle to find comfortable running shoes because of high arches and slightly wide feet. These were comfortable for me right out of the box. I did not find them to run narrow, as another reviewer commented. I've tried Hoka in the past and couldn't find a comfortable fit -- these seemed to run wider than other hoka styles and they work for me. Unlike most running shoes, I did not need to go up 1/2 size. I wear a size 7 shoe and these fit great in the size 7, medium width. Overall I'm very pleased, enough so that I ordered a second pair as a backup.

These feel amazing! I have only worn them around the house and I’m very impressed with the arch support.

These Hokas fit beautifully right out of the box. I previously owned a pair of Hoka Ones - and I still wear them although they are getting very worn. I do find that the Hokas run a tad bit narrow around the toes, but not enough to make them uncomfortable - I just wear thinner socks. I don't run - just a fast 2 to 3 mile walk with some steep hills. The Hokas, with their thick, stabilizing sole, really help keep my feet from feeling sore. I highly recommend them.
