I am a very active person who has never found much if any enjoyment in running. I love mountain biking, hiking (including fast paced, long distance trips) and more, but could never seem to get a run in that didn't involve heinous cramping and generally unpleasant conditions.
These shoes really do feel like running on a cloud, and while a bit noisy, have done just fine on pavement and seem quite ideal for mixed conditions. Knee issues I have had in the past have gone away and I've found myself smashing any previous PRs.
In terms of fit, they fit similarly to my Salomon shoes (Speed Cross and X-Mission). They are narrow through the foot like the Salomons. Length wise, they are nearly identical (perhaps the Hoka's are a smidge shorter). Toe box feels a bit narrower, with the rest of the shoe feeling very comparable. I far prefer the lacing on the Hoka's and can hone in the fit much better. The cushioning absorbs the shock of long descents in a way that my Salomons never have.

Use Bondi 6's for jogging 5 days a week and bought Speedgoat 2's for dog walking etc on a local rail trail. I love the cushioning and grip of the speed goats and while I think the size is a "true" fit they do feel a little narrow when I transition back and forth although I think it's more that the Bondi's have a wider last.

I ordered up 1 full size because I have always done so with a running shoe period. The shoe makes difficult steps to knees easier. There is a momentary learning curve, but it is worth the effort. My two coworkers tried my shoes and purchased. I sent a pair to my boyfriend in school in another state. We all feel the same way, worth every penny!

Would be even more awesome if there was an option for arch support insert instead of the standard liner - but that may be too much of a niche. Love the shoe!

This is my second pair. I wore my first pair out after hundreds of miles of trail running, walking and hiking. I am a woman but I bought the men's version because the store I was at didn't have my size in women's and they have been perfect for me. No break-in period, comfortable from the first step, I'm continually blown away by the traction and stability and how light they are. I am a fan!

I'm a "seasoned" runner/walker and really appreciate the cushioning I get with my new Hokas. Half my terrain is on trail and the other half is on the street. These shoes transition nicely to both, giving me stability and comfort. Also, not sure how they do this, but brings my body into proper posture, encouraging me to walk up straight. My mother would be happy!

Let me start by saying, I have plantar fasciitis and 2 ruptured Achilles tendons. So I have bought countless shoes to help with my foot problems. Countless insoles that I wear in all my shoes because I also have high aches. I have also tried several pairs of Hoka shoes and these hands down are my Favorite. Despite my heel and foot issues, I hike every weekend. So glad someone recommended these. These will forever be my hiking shoes.
The only negative is that a lot of their shoes run narrow. I wish they sold more wide shoes. I am a female and buy a Male version just to get a wider shoe.

I been enjoying running for two years now, and I'm learning more about what kind of show I should have specially for this type of exercise and I found so many good reviews on this brand, that I needed to try and now I'm recommend it Hoka to everyone I know ...

I do a lot of trail running in the PNW and struggle with plantar fasciitis on occasion. My typical go-to trail shoe has been the La Sportiva Bushido or Saucony Peregrine, both which have great traction, but lack cushion. I feel like I can propel forward more quickly and cushioned in the Speedgoat, and have less overall soreness. Only had them for about a week, so still to be determined how long they last or if the fasciitis will flare up, but I claimed a women's FKT 16 mile trail per Strava this weekend in these. I miss feeling the bite of the lugs from other trail shoes, but the cushion impact support is a good trade off.

Great shoes, 2nd pair of Hoka One One's that I own. I am an Army Infantry Veteran with bad knees. These shoes allow me to stay active and on my feet all day for my job as well.

This is my favorite trail running shoe on the market. I highly recommend this shoe for any avid runner. I had another brand of shoe and started to develop plantar fasciitis, but after switching to Hoka's, I was cured. Well done!

This is my first pair of Hoka trail shoes and I love them. I've been wearing Hoka for a couple of years for walking and casual wear due to plantar fasciitis and they really helped. These trail shoes are great too. Bought the dark color so they wouldn't show dirt so much. Great looking and very comfortable.

Don't need my orthotics since the arch support is adequate. Don't feel the ground through the forefoot like many other shoes. Slight pronator and this shoes offers plenty of stability.

I primarily use these shoes for hiking in mid to mild terrain. Even though these are my first Hoka shoes they certainly won't be my last.
